yeah but smartphones are more expensive than buying a ps4 and games for 60 bucks each. websites are better because computers are cheaper than mobile phones By your logic, everyone should be able to afford a smartphone because they, at some point in their lives, have purchased something more expensive than a smartphone. So for people who can barely afford game consoles, who carefully arrange their finances to get them because they enrich their lives, there should be punishment in the form of an unnecessary restriction? By your logic, everyone should be able to afford a smartphone because they, at some point in their lives, have purchased something more expensive than a smartphone. I have the app and it works well on my Iphone but it is amusing that they have an archive site for Custom Ryders when we know they will all look the same due to the awful CC. But they couldn't make another website like N7HQ extremely mind boggling.

You know what though you're absolutely right. It's beyond stupid to think that everyone would have access to a mobile device to check their progress while on the go. While we're at it why don't we protest them requiring consoles, and computers to access their game, money after all shouldn't restrict access.

It doesn't need any extra functions that a smartphone provides to function (GPS, camera, contacts, pictures, etc), so why would they limit themselves to certain devices? From what I saw it doesn't work on Windows phones, so certain people who even have smartphones can't use it. You want them to buy another phone? Everything that is being done in the app can be done on a mobile website, and requires far less maintenance if they want to update it. Typically in a development life cycle mobile apps comes near the end, only after website development, especially when mobile interfaces aren't an integral part of the functional app. I watched Mgamerz video of UI issues, and I agree with pretty much everything there. Plus from what I've seen with technical issues already, there are just an insane amount of obvious oversights and poor decision making throughout the process. Having said that I'm going to judge for myself and see what they do to fix issues and upgrade the experience. But between the end of ME3 and the launch of MEA (plus plenty of issues with DAI), I'm personally a little worried about the direction of Bioware, and I'm not sure if it's because of them, or pressure from EA. |

Quick question about this app. I've been sending strike teams out to do missions since the app launch. I see that with every successful mission, your pathfinder gets rewards. I am assuming there's a spot in game to claim the rewards with your Pathfinder. However, I share my console and we both will have two save profiles. So is it the first to claim the rewards gets all the loot boxes earned by successfully completed missions?

Not sure if it's a bug or not, but I have APEX HQ on a mobile device. MEA isn't due to be released in Australia until 23rd March (less than 36 hours from writing this), but I'm already sending out Strike Teams via the app. Not sure if that is 'as designed', or because I had got authorisation during my Trial start. I'm assuming any 'rewards' will be picked up once I'm able to play again.
(For the record, I'm at about a 50% success rate with two Strike Teams.)

Archives is just to share your SP protagonist creations with other players APEX HQ should have been part of this, and as they are doing a website anyway, there's no reason for it not to be. |

The Apex HQ seems to be working nice at least for me. I installed it on my phone to try it out. I'm not sure if I need it or do I even want it, since I can do the same stuff in-game aswell. But I can understand a lot of people will like it and use it.
