Honestly feels like a next-gen (and I hate that buzzword) mass effect multiplayer. Everyone needs to remeber that we should compare it to vanilla ME3 and not the ME3 that included the N7 character and weapons, rebellion maybe.
There were major connectivity issues with dropping and matchmaking as I feared. I'm talking noticeably worse than the For Honor beta with a way smaller player base. Once the game launches for everyone without a time limit, expect to have severe network problems during peak hours. It will probably not be playable during those times until the bulk of people stop trying to play it.
Still the game is a blast. I won't be able to go back to ME3 multi.

I played 3 bronze matches,1 successful, other 2 were wipe on 6th wave. Revenant feels like a peashooter, Krogan headbutt seems pretty powerful,Flamer has only short burst. Also, good to see pugs are same as in ME3-ignoring objectives is a thing.

MP is fine / fun but there should be a kill switch for mic input from other players.

I'm really unimpressed. I was kind of excited to play a new mass effect mp like back on the days of the old BSN. But I just got heavy negative vibes from this game. The main one is the UI is just terrible, and the player cues are sorely lacking. I can't tell by audio anyone is being revived, I can't tell it's an objective from the music, it's hard to tell what's going on with the billions of particle effects (it's like zombie mod all the time), and the menu system is very unintuitive - and that's on a controller.
The gameplay HUD is incredibly irritating. Everything is way too small, and your friend indicators override objective indicators. In ME3 you only had downed and objective point targets, which was simple but very effective.
The gameplay was so so. It felt very generic to me - it didn't have the iconic Cerberus enemies screaming - in fact, at no point do I recall enemies screaming at all. There is no emotion in the announcers voice.
The character selection screen... Ooooohhhh boy. I don't know what they were thinking but hot damn is that a mess. Nothing seems categorized and seeing 30 humans with helmets on does nothing to help me pick a character fast. The biggest issue I think is they tried to merge both screens of the ME3MP lobby into one, and there's just way too many buttons. On ME3 there was like 5 buttons. On this one there is like... 8 or 9, and then the customizer has lots of unlabeled ones that were very easy to miss.
Another mechanic - the match countdown timer. A cue to say someone is ready and waiting on you? The blinking effect. Worked great in me3, you could tell easy. In Andromeda it seems that it's just red text in a red scrolling background. It's also at the bottom of the screen - if you look at how web pages are read, it's top to bottom left to right. I don't look at the bottom for important info like the match timer.
There's just a lot of small gameplay mechanics that don't seem to be here that you never noticed in me3, but work great together. I had some serious framerate issues - but instead of low fps, the game took the time to render each one - as host - which effectively slowed down game time. Extraction is 2 minutes, but for me it took over 3. It also caused audio issues, and even in host I had enemy rubber banding.
Sad to say I won't be picking this game up. Not until it gets a significant price slash. I don't have any interest in SP, the trailers have voice actors I really don't like. I kind of felt this was coming though...
I don't know what enemy has the gold shield that can sync kill but that is some serious bullshit. It's far worse than magnet hands - Out of 6 games against that enemy not once did anyone do any damage to the guy to break the victim free. After all the backlash they got about sync kills I can't believe they have an enemy that is essentially invincible while sync killing. It's unbelievably stupid. One enemy killed our entire team over the course of two minutes.
Oh and voice detection on PC is on by default. Don't know why that's a feature, because I really didn't like listening to user speaker echo cause they didnt the change their settings.
I eventually got so pissed at all these things I gave up and played some ME3 mods. On a menu that has text lined up and not curved.
I am not a mass effect fanboi that is like OMG NEW GSMES!!! I took ME3 apart like Humpty Dumpty and I don't get how some of the basic mechanics are missing.
I do appreciate not having to sit through 12 loading screens to join a lobby. The jetpack is an interesting concept but I don't think it is used to it's fullest potential as it mainly consists of standing on rooftops now.

Day 1: I haven't yet unlocked a Turian. I do have a Krogan Engineer and an Asari Sentinel so far. I guess that's okay. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I saw a Turian enemy unit called an Anarchist, clearly a man after my own heart. I didn't want to fight that Turian. I wanted to possibly get married. He didn't. I shot that Turian dead. RIP

Not impressed by what I've heard so far. Oh, and the fact you'll need 10x "Human Vanguard Male" cards to get F*** SKILL POINTS (yeah, you get skill points by getting "customization cards") will make some people very mad. This in particular takes the fucking piss.

I have to agree with Mgamerz.I do miss run function (or maybe didn't find it). Announcer was much better in ME3,also enemies are pretty small.I don't know why, but I am getting kinda CoD wibe, which is funny.
But, maybe I am just salty, because have to go to work 😀

I don't know what it is on keyboard but on controller it is clicking the left stick. I won't lie, I preferred the shared button arrangement of ME3 (I know many did not). On controller it was easy and intuitive. I do not have any major gripe with controls, they seemed pretty good, but they changed the dpad around (which was kind of annoying) and made Y melee instead of B. There is also no heavy melee, something I don't get. The 2nd power is now both bumpers at the same time, which is not intuitive for me. The Krogan headbutt is satisfying, but without the enemy screams it didn't feel as good. I want enemy screams damnit.

Some of these feature sound awful.
Character cards needed for skill points? Who's brilliant idea was that... Absolutely ridiculous.
No heavy melee - why remove it?
So far there seems to be a few big negatives.

I just spent a few hours playing MP, here are my initial thoughts:
First of all, totally agree with Mgamerz. Everything is a disorganized mess. ME3MP had everything right there in one spot, easy to find, MEA has separate pages for each individual thing, and characters sorted by rarity, with 30 blank stares that tell you nothing about who you are clicking on.
Gameplay itself:
-On PC, you hit left Alt to switch between right and left handed. It came in pretty useful when using soft cover and moving around the map.
-I bound Sprint and Mantle over Cover to Spacebar, it allowed both functions to go on Spacebar and there are no ill effects.
-Ammo Primers may not care about enemy defenses. Specifically, I was able to Prime and Detonate Cryo Ammo on Armor. Will have to play around with some of the other types.
-Energy Drain would detonate even if the enemy had no Shields (in ME3MP it requires Shields/Barriers to detonate).
-I have a Logitech G303 mouse. It lights up with a custom color LED pattern. Every time I got to a loading screen, the mouse would go completely black, then reset with the default LED color, and then reload my custom setting. This probably shouldn't be happening, and I hope Bioware doesn't break my mouse.
-Rockets are fired from your Omni Tool now.
-When your character's shields go down, they tell themselves out loud to get to cover.
-Both players involved in a tech combo are credited in the killfeed. It will say something like "SalMasRac + DocSteely: Cryo Combo". If you detonated your own primer, it will list your name twice.
-The guy with the gold bubble who is literally invincible and teleports around the map sync killing everybody and takes 5 minutes of the entire team focus firing him is complete and total horseshit.

For the ultra rare characters you'll then need X (as in 10) cards (like weapons...) to fully upgrade them. What a good idea. lol. bwahahahahhaha what a trainwreck of an idea. Bye bye excitement from getting an UR character. Now you need to GRIND, BABY, GRIND (or buy packs :*)!

- Everything's so different than in previous Mass Effect games. The flow, the graphics, the menus. It still feels like Mass Effect, just... really different. Also yeah there are a lot of menus.
- Bronze is friggin hard without a good team, where's this Wood difficulty I've been hearing about for so long?
- Unlocking new stuff is really fun. Using new stuff is really fun.
- Jetpacks and verticality are fun, but at the same time it feels harder to keep out of the line of fire anywhere.
- Speaking of using new stuff, all the new commands are making my fingers have to relearn how to use the controls.
- Power cooldowns feel pretty long. Power spamming builds seem to be a thing of the past. RIP Cryo Soldier and double-tap Soldier builds.
- Sounds are weird. I've got the hear-everything-everywhere effect sometimes. Had to disable my mic at first because of feedback loops. I found the push-to-talk option but haven't tested it out yet.
- Origin in game is busted, even though it works in ME3 for me. Whatev.
- I'm having a really good time scrubbing it up, can't wait to git gud someday.

Also - are we sure that we need to fully unlock a kit to fully level it up, is this concrete info from somewhere? Are we maybe misinterpreting something that just looks different than it did in ME3MP?

So,if this character cards allow you to complete all the skills,I am fine with that.

So, what about the banter thingy, is it for real? Do the characters actually talk to each other? From the videos I have seen, I could not notice anything like that.

I heard some banter when I played a couple of matches. One of the players (Think it was human female sentinel) sounded scared and/or cautious.
