So, we've gotten our feet wet - what does everyone think so far?
I've played the tutorial and a couple of Bronze rounds - which we never Managed to extract on. (Total play time about an hours worth)
My impressions are;
The Avenger hits like a wet noodle. People that leave their mics open should be hit by divine lightning, due to the sound feedback loops it creates. The camera looks like it is a bit too close to the character compared to ME3, so movement seems a little off to me. Auto-cover will take time to get used to - because I find it very annoying currently Holy crap, enemies are everywhere! No method of buying Andromeda points, so no chance to open lots of crates :/ The hosting system likely needs to be looked a bit at. In every one of the lobbies I've been in, that has been a problem untill I was made the host (Because my interwebz is boiled potato, rather than uncooked) Jetpacks - Weeeeee!
Overall, I think it will be both challenging to do and a game that will require some teamwork to do well in - both are plusses in my book.

I have only made 4 waves in bronze, one game, steep learning curve for me, don't like that I can't run, have to get used to the jets. It's quite different than ME3, don't have a lot of gaming experience but will figure it out. All in all thumbs up, really like what I saw.

played a handful of matches including an apex mission, currently waiting on a pizza delivery before jumping back in.
turning around is sluggish I agree the camera is too close it's fast, frenetic, still a touch buggy I don't know exactly how it happened I was on the roof hit a guy with concussion and he just freaking launched miles away right out of the map area hilarious It takes some getting used to but it seems hella fun right now, could just be the excitement but damn it seems pretty awesome.

Mouse accel damping is a thing. This is stupid.
Having to jetpack to heavy melee is hella cumbersome.
Enemies seem to have trouble navigating the small inside areas efficiently, while that's great for exploiting, it does not bode well for SP.
Melee specialists still have to choose between melee damage and health. This is fucking stupid.
Infiltrators are also hella strong once again, so looking forward to those kind words all over the forums, won't that be fun.

Ah, I was wondering how they were going to handle "leveling" now. With no need for promotions, I figured they would have had some way of slowing down the leveling process. Though I was expecting to just have painfully slow XP gain, not needing the cards for it!

Agree with everything here. made it to wave 6 in a bronze and it fell apart fast lol. Having no medigels sucks. Being on xbox, I keep hitting A to sprint. Gotta breal some 5 year old habits. Cover doesnt seem to work well, although that could be due to enemies swarming from all directions. Definitely very different from what we are used to. 9 hrs left, back to feeling like a noob in mp

In ME1 that's how you cheese Krogans; lift, pull, or use singularity to make them float, than use throw to knock them up higher, follow up with a shotgun blast and continue to shoot them till they just continue to float up to their death. Either use a sniper rifle or start with shotgun and follow up with sniper rifle. It's not a bug, it's better than a feature, it's a clever use of mechanics. Space Magic.
