So, what about the banter thingy, is it for real? Do the characters actually talk to each other? From the videos I have seen, I could not notice anything like that. All I heard were personal remarks when shields went down, and occasional quips between waves. Really the same as ME3MP. HIGHLIGHT: Sometimes the Female Human Sentinel says "We should go."

Hack Objectives spawn 3 locations, these can be completed in any order by any number of players in any given one, even simultaneously, but all 3 must be completed for the mission to succeed.

I have only made 4 waves in bronze, one game, steep learning curve for me, don't like that I can't run, have to get used to the jets. It's quite different than ME3, don't have a lot of gaming experience but will figure it out. All in all thumbs up, really like what I saw. You can't run/sprint?

Right now Origin says that I have played 3 hours and less than 5 hours left. How about an actual timer counting down? Anyways: I'll play the rest of my trial period and then I'll write down my impressions. Right now they are unfortunately mostly negative actually and I agree with most of the things MGamerz wrote on the previous page.

-The guy with the gold bubble who is literally invincible and teleports around the map sync killing everybody and takes 5 minutes of the entire team focus firing him is complete and total horseshit. Were you playing against the Remnants? Assuming so because that sounds like the Ascendant (I think was the name?). If nothing has changed since I played against that faction, there should be a little orb circling around the dude... a bit like Geth Prime's combat drone. You have to destroy that orb to drop his golden bubble, then you can damage him for a brief time before he puts the bubble and a new orb back up. Rinse and repeat. Unless you encountered a bug where the orb is destroyed but the bubble doesn't drop and then you're stuck with no way to kill him.

For PS4, it was pushing in the left stick. There should also be an option somewhere in the gameplay menu to select "always on" so that it isn't a toggle and you never have to worry about pushing the stick in again (or whatever button it might be on PC). *Again, that SHOULD be how it is unless something changed

I played 3 games last night. All of bronze. Finished each game, but died right at extraction on the first one. I unlocked the turian soldier, so that was a plus.
- starting weapons with level 1 characters is pretty awful as expected. - the pace of the games feel really nice. Moving around the map and the constant onslaught of enemies keeps the combat flowing throughout the match. - grenades feel a bit wonky in their throwing arc, but I'm sure we'll get used to that pretty quick. The fact that your own frag grenade will stun you is pretty hilarious. - I'm excited about getting deeper into the game. - menu navigation will take some time to get used to

For the ultra rare characters you'll then need X (as in 10) cards (like weapons...) to fully upgrade them. What a good idea. lol. My understanding was you get skill points as you level up with exp, but ranking up your characters to level X with character cards gives you extra skill points, allowing you to max out every skill tree. I've not played it so I don't know, just what I got from one of the dev streams.

After playing for few hours here is what i think.
First of all i run into a rather nasty problem. Four out of five games will run smoothly and whit no hitch in sight. But the fifth would be like in slow motion.... I dont quite get why this is happening and i dont undurstand if the problem is in me or the host in the particular game. If i leave said lobby - normaly my next one is fine again. Is that happening to everyone else or should i look at my own machine for the problem ?
Outside of that - i too feel like the cammera is a bit too close to the character and that limits the field of vision and makes it easier for enemy mooks to blindside you. And when the big guys drop in - thats rather nasty. Looks like sorta easy thing to fix.
The combat however is smooth and makes it plesant to play. The jetpack is real joy and makes movment fun and opens up some really interesting tactics. Like jetpacking and aiming to stay in-flight outside the reach of mele enemy's.
Also the classes are interesting and varied even tho most of the skills we already know perfectly from Mass Effect 3.
Maps are also quite good .... but whit the introduction of the jetpack they feel a bit on the smaller side.
All in all good impressions as of right now - tho im quite worried whit the "slow motion" games that i had. Hope its not just me and its easy to fix.

Well, this thread is kinda melancholy for me.
I a realizing, that I am about to be left behind on Sur'Kesh, aerial bombardment coming my way.... I'm not gonna make it to Andromeda.
...
I was sorta looking forward to being a scrub again. From what I have read here, I will pass. I am going to need to find a new game, and probably a new forum. Sigh.

Some of these feature sound awful. Character cards needed for skill points? Who's brilliant idea was that... Absolutely ridiculous. No heavy melee - why remove it? So far there seems to be a few big negatives. You still get skill points through leveling.

Say if I finally unlocked that Ultra-Rare Salarian Operator, I can still level him up to 20 and spec into powers (like classic MEMP) even if I only have a single card to this kit? What's all this talk about getting skill points for unlocking additional cards of the same kit then?

You can't get all skill points for a kit just by levelling up... So those extra points are a bonus on top of the regularly earned ones? Phew. For a second I thought that you had to max out a kit's customization options in order to get any skill points.

What's all this talk about getting skill points for unlocking additional cards of the same kit then? There are two different levels for kits. 1-20 are obtained through XP, playing, and you get skill points with each level up. I-X are obtained getting the kit card 10 times (so it's RNG and microtransactions based), and you unlock both aesthetics options like ME3MP and a few skill points, although I'm not sure if every two cards or with each one. So in short, cards get you additional skill points. People are speculating that if you get the kit to level 20 and X you could max all powers. Edit: ninja'd

Additional points? Like we get 60 points for leveling and then rest by cards to make all 6es build?
