On firebase Zero, to the left of the LZ there is a sort of raised stand / gallery, that you can normally jump onto in order to get to the other side of the map, instead of using the interior rooms. The problem that I have is that I somtimes cannot reach the top, and sometimes I can. I see other people jump up, but I cannot reach enough height, and cannot grab the ledge. Initially I thought it was due to lag, but then I hosted a game myself, and still had the same problem. What am I doing wrong?

You should grab the ledge automatically.

On PC, how do you equip the badges behind your character name in the lobbies? I have seen people use them and have 6 or so of them (I think) but can't find where I pick which one to show. prestige-->collection-->nameplates-->equip.

Already posted this in the bugs topic a while ago, but maybe I'm just doing something silly? I can't use consumables on PC. Press the 4-5-6-7 buttons and the corresponding icon activates, so I know the game registers my actions properly, but nothing else happens. ???

Can confirm that muting works on PC. Kind of hard to select people since using the mouse doesn't work for me, having to use the keyboard to get to the next person.

Doesn't seem to always work when in a match, but it's fine in lobbies. So I now squelch everyone in all lobbies I join, just in case. Of course the problem is when someone joins mid game with an open mic...

Do Random map and enemy factions provide bonus experience? I didn't see it listed in-game if it does.

But I have been using boosters on Silvers.

I have a few questions.
First, in regards to Encumbrance/Weapon weights: The maximum power recharge bonus is +100%. What is the actual weapon weight value that meets this threshold? Does the threshold vary between character kits, or is it the same across the board?
Second, what does the damage value of the Lanat sniper rifle refer to? A fully charged shot? A quick tap? Scoped or unscoped?

I have a stupid question that I have yet to figure out on my own.
You know when you get grabbed by the dogs and you have to spam a button to break free? It is easy to do if playing with a controller because it straight up tells you to spam a specific button. When playing with M/KB, it just says to tap button, and instead of telling you which button (like the controller does), it just shows a blank spot.
I have tried spamming mouse buttons and/or space bar, nothing works for me on M/KB. I looked through the keybindings and everything is bound. I just don't know what to do. So now everytime I get grabbed, I just gotta take all of the damage.

I can't recall where I read this, but there is a glitch on PC that forces you to use E for the use/interact button, which is what is supposed to display when breaking a grapple. Make sure you're bound there, then try mashing that button and see if it works.

Is there a place where you can see the effects of your weapon weight on your powers? For instance, my level 5 Human Vanguard's Charge power shows a recharge time of 8 seconds regardless of what weapons I have.

Thanks guys. It appears that the game is only coded to show the default key in this situation. I rebound my E key and this is apparently the crux of the problem. I will now spam my use button that the game refuses to show.

Is there a place where you can see the effects of your weapon weight on your powers? For instance, my level 5 Human Vanguard's Charge power shows a recharge time of 8 seconds regardless of what weapons I have. The game does not explicitly display your modified recharge times. On the main character customization screen, there is a bar in top-middle that displays your power recharge modifier. The bar has a line about 1/3rd of the way in. If your weight is below or at that line, you have the full recharge speed bonus. Beyond that line, you'll see a negative percentage that indicates how much time is being added to your recharge timers. If you're looking for exact values, you'll have to do the math yourself.

Thanks. That's too bad. Along with squinting my eyes to see the interface, now I have to calculate recharge times every time I change weapons! I find using the Apex HQ and easier way to modify my characters. The app, however, doesn't show the effect of weapon weight like in the Xbox One's character customization screen. EDIT: You can't edit your character using Apex HQ when you're in-game, sadly.

Are negative traits permanent for Strike Teams or can they lose them? This is just a guess but I would imagine that you can reset them by gaining the equivalent positive trait. Similarly I would imagine that a highly skilled team could go from +10 to +5 in a trait after failing a mission if the negative trait gained affects a positive one. Like always though, none of this is proprely explained anywhere so we will have to wait and find out for ourselves.

I have a stupid question. For skill building is it still the same as ME3 where you can max out 4 out of 5 trees? with 1 default point in one of them?
(Assuming character skill level 20 and level X) [is level x the highest? gotten up to 6 thus far]

Might be 2 levels in the last skill, will check and edit later. 20 / X is max.
