I have a stupid question. For skill building is it still the same as ME3 where you can max out 4 out of 5 trees? with 1 default point in one of them? (Assuming character skill level 20 and level X) [is level x the highest? gotten up to 6 thus far] I haven't hit the max levels yet, but apparently others say it's the same as ME3 when you level up a character to 20 and X, so you always end up with 66665 plus one random point. |

In ME3 you could do 66446 when 1 spare point, so it should be 66446 with 2 points over. You are right. I checked again and it is 66446 and not 66336 as I wrote. |

When I started playing MP I wasn't aware that the max skill set you can get initially is 6/6/6/1/1. So I didn't spec my first characters very thoughtfully. And now I've got a Salarian Infiltrator with the following skill build:
- Sticky Grenade: 3 pts
- Tactical Cloak: 4 pts (recharge speed variant)
- Energy Drain: 3 pts
- Offensive Tech: 1
- Support Systems: 3
How should I proceed up-skilling this kit? Is this even salvageable?

Every other level unlocks more of your maximum skill points. |

From my understanding you receive 4 additional skill points at every even Rank. So at Rank II you receive 4 extra, then at Rank IV another 4 and so on.
Therefore a Rank I character has 65 skill points (at max level 20), allowing for a 6/6/6/1/1 build, and a Rank X character (at max level 20) has 85 skill points (20 additional), allowing for a 6/6/6/6/1 build.

Are headshots and armor piercing here similar to ME3?
For instance, can I headshot with Scorpion?
Does armor penetration mods work on Scorpion-like weapons?
Can I shoot through walls like I did in ME3?
Another question, can Remnants instakill you? The other two factions can, learned it hard way lol. Still don't know about the Remnants tho.
