I felt like people tried to cooperate as best as they could with the new maps, nobody knowing anything about the game other than basic mechanics. I wasn't sure if people were on mic but I tried to call stuff out as much as I could to them. Of the matches I had, most people did try to stick together. Sadly this did not pay off when a few went to extraction as soon as it started. But not knowing the map I think caused us people to want to get there and it was like trying to hunker down in gold on extraction for ME3. So. Many. Deaths.

My ten hours are done apparently, I'm kicked out of the game! So I'll have to wait until the 21th to see if mp gets better or not. But yeah, so far not much team play there. I can spec Energy Drain to restore shields to all team members in an 8m radius, or I can take a massive damage bonus. There's no 'I' in 'team', so I will take the damage bonus. |

People are definitely at least reviving each other, so at least there is that much. I think that is the most you can expect from people for now in the space of 10 hours as they try different things. I can vouch for that, my first 3 matches involved a lot of instantly forgetting all the new mechanics, or boosting into walls while screaming. I was pleasantly surprised I was getting revived honestly, despite my ineptitude. |

Once the game goes live and people know the maps and synergy between classes and level up and get better weapons and etc. I expect MP will look a lot different.
Its too soon to expect much. I know my play was so bad I was too busy trying to survive to help anyone much.

Most of the matches I've been in so far have been fine. I'm wondering if the reports I've heard of three looking at the device waiting for player X to do it are because you have to hold down E not just press it. So they think it's broken?

Get so good that the pugs will bask in the glow of your greatness. 3) Keep complaining. Preferably on a live mic, "Guys, guys..." i think, MEAMP is less Cooperative than ME3MP, and that is why it does not feel as fun or addictive or satisfying
in ME3MP, anything could happen, the game is totally unpredictable, and we can take cover and attack from cover, cover players from far away, send them a turrent togive cover fire or to recharge the shields
reveal enemies to everyone, use tech shield to pretect when somene is de/activating devices, put a wall to protect the group from incoming enemies, etc
and create lots of combinations, biotics explosions, tech explosions, all the time, i was easier to work together
use shield or turrets to cover the one who is reviving a fallen character, etc
now in MEAMP there is less cover, or cover is just useless, everyone is running around across the whole map, shooting
it seems that its harder to cooperate
everyone is concentrated in runnning and shootg, less power combos, etc

Cooperation still makes things easier.. but it definitely is not necessity.
Simply compare
White/Geth/Gold vs Zero/Outlaw/Gold
First one... there was no chance surviving for most of random teams if they do not cooperate..
Second one, it seems like anyone who knows how to jump, run and aim can handle.
MEAMP is much much easier than ME3MP...
Once people start having good manifest, there really will be no need for cooperation whatsoever in MEAMP.
The boss units in MEAMP are just so easy to handle.. compare to mighty Geth prime and deadly Cerberus Phantom.

The gameplay just isn't the same, with the enemies all rushing, no cover grabs, etc. The whole thing is sped up.

Never used them to help teammates, just to keep myself alive and to do moar damage myself. Aside from that, those characters/skills weren't in ME3MP until some MP-DLC got released - so be patient. God helps those who help themselves! I've always wanted to say that at dinner as I reach across the table for more mashed potatoes If you spit in the mashed potatoes from across the table you'll never have to reach for them. |

I think that the pacing of the game has really effected cooperation.
People can get separated very easily because everyone is so damn fast. And people scatter frequently because the enemy has such ease at pressing into your covered positions. Its seems like everything is happening too fast, and the game dissolves into a chaotic mess of everyone franticly moving about the map.
