The main guy I would want back for MEA's soundtrack is Sam Hulick. He's a veteran of the series, and has composed some of the series best tracks, so he's like the heart and soul of Mass Effect (his best tracks are literally the emotional ones, like the romance theme in ME3, I'm Proud of you, etc.) Of course, I also think a new galaxy calls for some new blood as well. I would love if Bioware convined Jeremy Soul to come onboard the project. He's a veteran games composer as well, and has worked with Bioware on KOTOR. He'd be an excellent fit due to his fantastic exploration/ambient tracks. For anyone who has played KOTOR or any Elder Scrolls games, you know what I am talking about Imagine explore uncharted worlds to soundtracks like that! We'll never want to leave Afterwards, you can round out the group with some action heavy guys. Jack Wall comes to mind, or even give a movie composer a chance. Overall, I think a mix of veterans and fresh blood will give MEA's soundtrack the best chance to maintain some identity to classic Mass Effect sound, all while going into new directions.

Very happy Sam Hulick got the majority of votes. He really is right in the heart of how Mass Effect should sound like. I would love another game with him and Jack Wall though.

Sam Hulick is a genius but there's something to be said for quitting while you are ahead. I wouldn't mind a "new" composer coming on board. I write "new" because some I have in mind have been in the business forever.
Some suggestions:
Inon Zur - Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon Age II, Fallout 3
Michał Cielecki & Krzysztof Wierzynkiewicz - Witcher 2, Bulletstorm
Greg Edmonson - Uncharted 1 thru 3, Firefly (TV)
Thomas J. Bergersen and Nick Phoenix, aka Two Steps From Hell - Everything from Harry Potter movies to Mass Effect 2, over 30 credits for trailers, major motion pictures and games.

Can I be greedy and ask for both Jack Wall and Sam Hulick? These guys ARE Mass Effect for me. ME1 had some fantastic standout tracks in amongst really atmospheric ambient music and I loved the whole tone of it, a great blend of synth and orchestral moments when needed. Both Jack and Sam have credits (according to Mass Effect Wiki) on the Main Theme, which is probably the most iconic track in the series. I'll always hear that and think of the swell of anticipation and excitement I got the first time I played it. And its reprises in 'Spectre Induction', 'From the Wreckage' and 'Victory' couldn't be more well-placed. The ambient music is great, from the Citadel stuff like 'The Presidium' and 'The Wards' (Jack) to the sounds that made our ship so memorable 'The Normandy' and 'Uncharted Worlds' (Sam). And then of course we have the incredible 'Vigil' (Jack), which always hits me with nostalgia, and some great antagonist pieces in 'Saren' (Jack) and 'Sovereign's Theme' (Sam). And special mention for 'storytelling' tracks like 'Exit' (which is played when you're escaping Virmire). It brings together everything so wonderfully - elements of the Normandy Theme and Sovereign's Theme as the action escalates, then a bit of the Mass Effect Main Theme (Shepard) and suddenly it all goes quiet and we're left with a few piano notes of the Love Theme (representing the person left behind on Virmire). Although there are tracks in ME2 and ME3 that I adore, I don't think as a whole they are as good as ME1 so I'd love the "dream team" back together for Andromeda.

I think we're in good hands with Sam Hulick.
I have to defend Hans Zimmer though. There is a reason why he gets used so often:

My vote goes to the composer of the Citadel:DLC farewell. Absolutely perfect! That DLC was the best of the best.

I'm hoping for Sam Hulick. Itd be hard to get a Mass Effect atmosphere without him IMO.
On a side note, pretty sure i saw Jack Wall said he wasn't involved in Andromeda. Might of been on a reddit AMA or something i cant remember.

Who made the Arrival DLC soundtrack? This composer totally gets my vote! I'm pretty sure it's Christopher Lennertz, who did some of the better tracks in ME3. Edit: I'm wrong. It's Chris Velasco.

Sam Hulick seems to be popular, eh? And for good reason, he'd do a great job on the Andromeda soundtrack.
That said, I would be interested in seeing what Yuka Kitamura would do with a sci-fi project, but it's very different from the stuff she's worked on so it might not pan out very well.

I'd be fine with any of the previous composers still working on the soundtrack. Though I'd love to hear Michael McCann or Bear McCreary take a shot at some Mass Effect stuff.

My vote goes to Sam Hulick. I just can't imagine Mass Effect game without him or at least some of his work in it. First ME is my favourite and it's because of the soundtrack partly. Tracks like The Wards, Protecting the Colony or Uncharted Worlds are simply AMAZING. And Dear God, I need another Faunts song for ending credits.

IMO Jack Wall has definitely composed the best tracks in the trilogy: Vigil, Noveria, Suicide Mission come to mind first and are by far my favorite songs. But the list goes on. For example: Virmire Ride, Main Theme (ME1), The Presidium, The Wards, An Unknown Enemy and the whole ME 2 finale (basically a mega extended Suicide Mission version with some parts of Unknown Enemy) -> Crash Landing, The long Walk, End Run. So I would love it if he came back, but unfortunately that doesn't seem to be the case: www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/47puve/im_jack_wall_music_composer_of_20_games_including/BTW: if Peak 15 is by Wall alone it definitely goes into the group that comes to mind first, but I'm not totally sure, because it isn't on the soundtrack. Does anyone know?

Jack Wall or Sam Hulick, or preferably, both. Just like the good old days of ME1 (the good Mass Effect). Though as I understand it Jack Wall is definitely not involved.

The soundtrack is probably the thing I'm least concerned about with Andromeda.
Sam Hulick is still on board, and unlike Dragon Age the Mass Effect soundtracks have been consistently good.

What happened to Undead Han? Nice avatar, but you should really replace his eyes with two X's given Han shot first. You really had issues with some of the DA music? I cannot recall being disappointed with any music from any Bioware game. It might be the only area I have total faith in Bio's decision making process.

My only complaint is that someone made the bad call of not playing it often in the game. The open world bits may have felt a little less tedious if there was some ambient music. I'm hoping they bring Trevor Morris back for DA4. I didn't care for Inon Zur's work in Dragon Age however. Other than a couple tracks I thought it was forgettable, and inferior to the soundtracks of the first two Mass effect games.
