Are gays (not)getting the shaft again?

Have you even played other Bioware games? No other orientation has been as screwed for options and content as gay guys have in nearly every single one of their games that have LGBT romances. Dragon Age II and Inquisition were the only games where gay guys got equal options as everyone, but even then, straight females had more options than other orientations. And if we count the Mass Effect series, both straight guys and lesbians have had more options than both straight women and gay guys. We have always been screwed for options and it is not "simply our turn" to get less romances; if anything it's our turn to get more for once (not saying that we should, but we sure as hell don't deserve less that others in any future games).

That said, I have to say that I'm not really offended by the situation either. I'm disappointed, but I think Gil's pretty hot and Reyes is... okay, from what I've seen of him. The ME team has never really cared for gay romances, so I knew not to expect much with MEA. Still, it's a fact that both romances have a lot more downsides to them compared to the other romances, and it's something that happens to gay romances more so than any other romances in Bioware games.

Just read all the thread and I'm agree with some things and not with other but to put my grain of sand:

I love Mshenko like A LOT (And by that I mean that you won't ever know how much I love it because i really really love it) so for the ones that really dislike that romance I just feel sorry but yeah everyone has their own tastes but you can't say a romance is bad because you don't like it. I experienced Steve's romance too and I prefer Kaidan over him but That romance was good too and by far had more scenes than any M/M romance in Andromeda as Kaidan these romances I really didn't think: I want a lot of more scenes because are the fair for both and I love them (Overall Kaidan).

Played DA:I too and again I loves Dorian and his romance some people maybe didn't like the cliché of the father but I think It wasn't that out of place. A lot of people has that in real life anyway so... and Dorian has his personality that to some is bad and others as me like the variety Kaidan and Dorian are like opposite sides and love them for each one characteristics. (I even enjoyed Bull romance but was more into Dorian)

The thing is that I expected almost something with the same quality or even more but we have 2 males that are CC created (Kaidan, Dorian, Bull and even Steve feel more unique than Gil and Reyes) and the lack of content is Amazing, just what? the scenes I had with Reyes (is the romance I'm playing because I love him over Gil) about the romance berween all of them maybe are 5 min, 5-10 min!!!! And I have more than 60h in the game, 10 min saying big in 60h ( I haven't finish the game yet) and why is that? I don't even know. Kaidan, Bull and Dorian were squadmates and you could hear them over all the missions, always knowing they are there and Cortez had less lines but a lot of scenes too (in ME3 I think they give the same number of scenes for each romance) and I loves it, take a ride with the car, meet him and Vega to watch the TV, meet him in the citadel for his husband.... but in ME:A that is supposed a far far far better game or almost I Though you have your 3 or 4 scenes with reyes thst are romance that are the kiss in the cave, the dance, the kiss in the party and the sit looking the skies are all, they are even bad animated for males (the kiss in the cave and the dance looks so bad, unnatural and by that I mean that the poligones collide meaning they didn't even cared how they lookes, and you have them all in a straight line so you do that and it's all, the romance is done and over for the rest of the game, that is dusgusting for me.

I Shouldn't watch the scenes of Male scott with cora and peebee because i can say that after watch them I almost cried haha sounds silly but I really wanted to cry go to bed and don't wake up haha I have been with the hype of ME:A years and expected something almost equal to ME3 regardless the romances and felt so so so bad and pissed that I just wanted to cry.

P.D: aside from the romance I love MEA, I'm doing everything coleccting everything. The landscapes and combat are the 10/10 for me of Mass Effect Andromeda, the characters aren't bad either (I would like more content with the romances as I said) but the thing about M/M even if I don't want shade them all with a grey grey grey cloud that makes me upset, I really want enjoy it full and for that I have to stop thinking because everytime I think about the cora romance I get mad haha so that... I'm Spanish by the way sorry for ny bad English and I hope It can be understood.

P.D2: I have been reading this forum before release and this is my first comment because I had to register myself to write and talk with others about the situstion with M/M I knos is being largely discussed and wanted to say that I'm other one of you all and I plan to play ME3 after mass effect andromeda just to quit the taste of my mouth about this lack of content of M/M enjoying with Kaidan because he is the one among all
