No, no, it might be late for us to respend time again on that shit, and muahmuah says he doesnt notice it that much at all empirically, but in theory (read "if u read peddro&co test") power bonuses are the way to go to max TTK with inci glitch : power bonus are included and more important in the DoT than inci rounds themselves. I guess the best thing, as i never settled either on this (and i trust muahdoc empirical feelings), is to try with a valkyrie and a second tier smg (with decent piercing), with power bonuses and then with weapon s one I tested like this: Build 1 vs build 2. Test case: Warp + Acolyte shot on a Banshee. Results: 3513 vs 3359 barrier remaining. Difference: 154 points. Now, Kalence gets Warp wrong and applies its power buff to the up-front damage, which does not occur in fact. The actual damage values are: 975*(0.75+0.25*1.15) = 1012 1125*(0.75+0.25*1.15) = 1167 Difference: 155 points. If there's a buff to ammo DoT then it either appears only if stacking multiple shots or it's less than the rounding errors I made. Edit: tested same with two Wraith shots against a Preatorian, same results. Muah is right. NIce ! Now that we here, i think u should make a library thread of what kalence gets wrong, cause i never can remember . I could make the post about overload.
I m not even sure how warp works. ok checked : 0.75 of the damage applied upfront, without debuff here, and 0.25 in 10 DoT ticks with the debuff. (pretty small bug i would say, but maybe DoT and upfront damage should be presented separately anyway)
So absolutely no warp DoT/icendiary building up at this point... hum, strange. At least do your Inci ticks do damage in both case ? What s your banshee, gold ? I would try a full locust/tempest mag in both configs (not very usefull), but mainly an armor test with them or acolyte, as the build up is mostly against armor.
Is it fast to install a soft to capture/log damage events ?

I landed in a modded game yesterday with xxxXXX*****XXXxxx TGI hosting and doing the job. THe guy was listening to metal it seems or the other pug, i could have heard more spectating, it was kinda cool. Crazy buffed abos at 10* speed and higher detonation, hordes of them , and other stuff, maybe diamond ? I dont remember how diamond goes.

Is it fast to install a soft to capture/log damage events ? Found this Warp thing when I was busy with fixing the editor a year ago and never finished. I plan to return to this when the semester is over. The Banshees were on Gold, Praetorians on Platinum so that they have some barrier left after those 2 shots. The reason I did not try SMGs is that it's easy to miss with them or accidentally hit a weak point. Piercing is a no-go because one shot failing to pierce already distorts the outcome. I don't have any logger installed (unless Mgamerz spies on everyone who has ME3MM, which is possible ), just looked at cumulated damage with profile combat target. Even with Wraith, I had to figure out how not to accidentally shoot the weak Praetorian point and increase the damage. First time I learnt it's accessible without piercing and without breaking the plates or that you don't get damage from hitting unbroken "moustache" plates btw.

i would argue that power passive is good for inci glitch ! And he use a nice tag awww, that's a nice sentiment Al. but i believe you're now falling to the same folly xelander 's has been... and misattributing the in-depth knowledge and expertise where simply there isn't such. or at least there's not enough evidence to support there's, n7hq inspetcion notwithstanding edit: or just u trolling again, in which case u need to try harder still. 2/7 with rice I don't know what's being discussed, at this point I'm just liking the post because of the avatar.

I inquired as to whether power passives/amps are beneficial in increasing the effectiveness of the Incendiary Warp Glitch. Yes, I honestly don't know the answer to that question, which I actually consider a good thing, as it makes me only a scrub, not a pug.

Crap, wish I saw this before he talked shit on Fury a few days ago. This guy is the MP equivalent of people who dismiss non-game content because they didn't read it. ah, dissecting N7HQ. one of them favourite BSN pastimes.. thanks DD (too many Docs, i'm getting overhelmed) for the reminder, haven't done any in a while and we should have done that eariler. So a few things to add... on top of the lack of masteries/gold challenges other than enemy factions completed - Solo Mastery, once (let me guess, Gold Kroguard vs Geth?) - no Platinum solo - camps Platinum on Giant/Giant Hazard - Biotics powers use level, incompetent - even the Singularity hasn't been done once yet saw him spewing some bullshit edit: specs warp into 6B and stasis in 4A in more than occasion. lol it does explain though well his comments on Disruptor Ammo, exactly what you'd hear from an incompetent pug extractions completed: GE (done waves) GI (done waves) QFI (done waves) Slayer Destroyer waves TGI TSent AA Valkyrie Huntress DA DAI edit: a bunch of characters still hasn't been deployed. so... character knowledge, powers knowledge level - incompetent. Overall - a scrub level PUG. And their opinion on the game mechanics, - irrelevant. Throwslinger , have we missed anything out? Oh, oh, do me.

What does my profile say about me? Spent some time looking at your profile however my laptop in its wisdom has decided that hibernating or sleeping is for wusses and went forced shutdown once it ran out of juice instead killing all my notes I’ve made in Notepad. Lessons learned, using Word and saving often for this one. Sadly, this means more of a bullet point list and not a narrative now. First, your profile is saying that you’re more active than you’re attempting to make us to believe And this is great news, both for us here and for the PS3 ME3MP community at large. Oh and the full disclosure on my remarks. Considering you’re one of us there will the inevitable bias and more leeway, as well as referencing what you’ve shared around here already. I will try keeping that in check. General - For the amount of time spent on the manifest the Challenge Points are on the lower end. This puzzles me a little bit since quite a few BSNers’ profiles show this trend too. - Not a completionist/OCD either. Quite a few silver stars still dimmed. Will touch on that later. - Unclear if you’d started this manifest late or have you just ignored the weekly challenges. Doesn’t have much bearing on anything, just an observation. - A very clear preference for Gold with Platinum being along the “if I must” lines. Nothing to indicate any particular patterns around Platinum gameplay. Platinum White waves display quite a bit of a skew, but I think the reason will be covered next. - An accomplished (if somewhat reluctant with just 2 completions) Lone Wolf including a non-cheese Platinum Solo. Took quite a bit of effort and a few attempts to get that one covered on the aforementioned White judging by the number of waves completed. - Your N7 Mastery, and your N7 rank, are stuck/buggered. At the rank of 1950 (1920 is the number needed for the Mastery btw ) and 61 promotions, there should be 1/6 progress in the first tier challenge. There isn’t. - Promotions wise, Sentinels are outlier with the least promotions. I suspect the lovely Valkyrie is the culprit there hehe. She ain’t got no time for that levelling crap. - Not much to say about the map preferences overall. The only anomaly that had me scratching my head is that some of the Earth DLC maps are on the lower end. Almost had me speculating on either a break around that time, or a more recent manifest roll, or just general disdain for those maps (all the other DLCs are within expected margins). Seems a tad high for a pure RNG crap. - Biotics/Tech Mastery. Here we have a competent Biotics Specialist considering the overall Challenge Points progression. If anything of somewhat of the Classic/Vanilla leanings. Biotics to Tech ratio is just one mastery shy of the healthy 2:1 ratio. A couple of notable observations: • I’m getting feel for the first timethat AJA is not the most favourite blueberry, or is specced out of Pull • Biotic Slash. Not even once. Lol. The Slayer is making it onto another one on the can’t be bothered list it seems • Same pattern with the Barrier. Strange, this one is more of a BSN signature. Although I admittedly am the same, think only got it for a tick in the box A few of the done “just once” as well, which fits well with the Classic school. Tech wise, a somewhat smoother performance across the board. With the Hex Shield and the Electric Hammer not getting any air time hehe Aliens - One cannot ignore the fact that the Council Mastery in the very clear lead in this category, The Asari (haven’t expect any less from a fellow Asari connoisseur) and the Turians are pulling their weight here. We have the confirmation here that the AJA is indeed is the least favourite Asari, so are the jetpack Turians. docsteely would be sad to learn that the Cabal hasn’t got enough attention to get waves completed even once. On a personal note, the fact that she sounds like a badly hungover blueberry is one of the reason she doesn’t get out much. - Right, on to the others • I have to know what’s that you don’t like so much about the Kroguard not to have his _extractions_ completed?? You don’t have to run with the Reetard you know, would give you enough opportunity to knock those Barrier points off though. • Vorcha Soldier is another one missing out, Patpat probably would have something to say/yell about that. Still, that’s yet another silver star missing out. • N7 characters ain’t getting much love except the Destroyer. Kinda understandable, but come on, Fury. Yes, a Valkyrie wannabee, but just one completion. She can be fun, especially with the Graal. Mordokai, pls. Also Ms. Cargopants, you really better be wary of pineapples flying around by now. • …I’m not going to mention Volus Adept, like, at all. Cause, reasons. I’ll leave it until the time we manage to drag you into running the N7 series. • But the BatSent/Shaman waves/extractions. WTF. That’s it dude, I’m reporting this to GruntKitterhand . I believe there’s a conversation to be had there. Just doing my part. Because that’s unacceptable. • And speaking of reporting, and the “unacceptable”… Your Quarksman, QFI. I know Blueberries are the best, but still give the suitrats a chance. They ain’t half bad. Also, what’s with the Geth Trooper?? You know you can specc out of Flamer, right? You clearly had the time for fondling the Juggs, but the GT nononopers… Sheesh. • The Nutpuncher?? And only a 100 waves?? Seriously? I’m dreading what’s next. • Well. Well, here you redeemed yourself. Quite. The literally 2 (as in TWO, as in One and then just One more) _waves_ with the Talon …I actually snorted when I saw that. Good on ya. A nice finishing note here. Weapons So, onto the weapons. Not much in the way of surprises from a BSNer when it comes to the actual weapons masteries, with the Street Sweeper in the lead like it should be. Could not help but laugh at your Claymoar completions. The glitch is clearly working. I do find it quite fitting considering we’re talking the High Lord here Also. The Shuriken’s zero completions. Lol. Oh wait, let me tell you about one really neat challenge that you may use to quickly roll that challenge over if you wish!! Enemies Factions. Dude. The Carebears?? Your favourite?? Of all factions… Sigh. I… I salute you and the others equally as mad. Yes, sorry I’m trying to push this out tonight. Builds. I only had a cursory look at your adepts, unofrtunately it’s getting late now. Most seem solid and sound (no 66666 quite prevalent with them reddit experts ), the only thing thought I’d raise is your FHA’s warp. You got recharge speed on the 6th evolution. I do want to commend you on the Slow evolution of the Dark Channel. But also go “whyyyy?” on the Stasis recharge speed Right. That’s me. If I may, I’ll skip the conclusion this time considering we’re talking a BSNer here. And we’re all scrubs in the end. So I’m looking forward to continuing our discussions with in our builds/strategies/mechanics matters as well as the general shitpostery. Ooh me next! *Hurries to use a wider variety of characters to avoid Apry eviscerating my entire ME3 career* Now y'all make me wanna have apry #metoo. Twice. out of time tonight but will give it a go tomorrow. The stats don't tell you how much fun he is to have around, especially playing as blue duos. And I'd be honoured if you'd critique me in the same way, although to do so with such depth would require checking on my three main accounts (including tiwyg23 on PS3). I can tell you in advance that when you get to the Quarksman I'll have to do the Homer Simpson disappearing into a hedge thing. Still, I'm not ashamed that I've scored less than 6k with the Shuriken. And I like killing Rippaz

I will try keeping that in check. I am a little sad that I didn't get the narrative, but your shitpost(by your own admission, mind you ) more than makes up for it So yeah, thanks for that, had fun reading it and I just want to comment on few points. A disclosure of my own: nothing is said in bad faith, because, as mentioned, I had great fun while reading your post. I just wanted to offer some reasons for my choices, perhaps clarify it a little.
With that in mind...
- I believe I was too late to participate in the theme challenges, which is a shame, since I would dearly love to possess some of them banners... they are neat!
- I actually love platinum. It's just that I'm scrub who operates on "Banzai!" principle, which makes me unable to play with pugs and without proper backup, so I usually eschew plat for gold
- I actually do not like Earth maps... they just kinda such, imo at least.
- I tried doing Biotic Slash mastery, even considered speccing into it again. Took another look at it and figured, well... it's kinda shitty power, actually. So yeah, I'll probably skip that one. As for Barrier, you figured out I don't play krogan much.
- Reason for kroguard, as weird as this may sound... I just can't keep the big lug alive, unless I use Reegar. Probably more scrubbery on my part, but there we go. Fury can suck hairy balls and yes, I can't play her either N7s are awesome concept, but they just kinda fall flat on face, as far as I'm concerned. Besides paladin, their vanilla versions are much more fun. Voluses, you guessed it, more scrubbery on my part, though vanguard is fun, I'll admit.
- Scrubbery is extra hard whereas Cabal is concerned. You make a compelling argument about her voice but I just can't get a grip on that girl. I suck with her and therefore, I choose not to play her at all.
- But you did manage to invoke some bad feelings in me. Therefore, yesternight, the three games I played I took out female quarian infiltrator, shaman and batarian sentinel. And I'll admit... they were fun games and fun classes. Not sure if it was innate fun factor or the novelty, but I'm willing to bet on the former. I scrubbed hard with all of them, but fun was most definitively had I should do this more. Maybe my CR points would be higher then.
- What can I say, I love killing Cerberus I think Engineers dying screams of pain have a lot to do with that... I may have a problem.
- The reason for recharge on Warp and Stasis is the same... I equipped Claymore on both of those classes and I was a n00b back then(bigger than now, even), so I figured it would be a good choice. I just never got around to fixing it.
And that's basically it. Once again, great fun has been had, thank you again and peace out!

I will try keeping that in check. ...
And that's basically it. Once again, great fun has been had, thank you again and peace out!
So you played three games last night and still tell me the Galaxy cannot count on you against the Rippaz... Bro, you're contradicting yourself! As for the Cabal , she's one of the easiest characters to play, so what you're saying there...

- I believe I was too late to participate in the theme challenges, which is a shame, since I would dearly love to possess some of them banners... they are neat!
Yeah I missed all those weekend challenges with the special banners too.

Yeah I missed all those weekend challenges with the special banners too. I wish I could bottle up that experience and share it with you, those weekend challenges were great!! Then they dumped a bunch of participation data afterwards, like how many gold extractions, how many banshees were killed in Operation Silencer... I think globally, we all failed that one, and then extra Banshees showed up in other matches for like a week. I missed the first one because I didn't bother to click on that "multiplayer" option on the menu, because... multiplayer in Mass Effect? What kind of crap is that?... one week later, I clicked that button, and I didn't end up finishing my single-player campaign until like mid-2013, because I just kept going back into the MP. Aside from that the only one I failed was Operation Exorcist, which will be 8 years to-the-day in one week, on April 27th. Ahh the good old days.. [/end of wistful remembrance and derail]

[/end of wistful remembrance and derail] yeah I would have loved to have been able to participate, I'm sure they were fun in sort of a similar way to the community challenges (N7 series, Tiers of Neufchatel, etc). Unfortunately I didn't have internet the place I was living when ME3 came out, and only got to play online at friends places, until I moved and got internet about a year or so later. But by then it was too late.

As for Cabal, lets just agree to disagree

Was it voluntary or remote to the point getting internet was pointless because, shit, I think we had fiber at my parent's house back in like 05/06.

"Sorry this is not for me. Sorry"
This was what a PUG said when we loaded into Glacier / Geth. Can't say I blame them

My profile is probably as interesting as it is misleading to decipher. I hadn't considered checking map completions by difficulty, and TIL you can see other player's consumables. Consumables + credits can tell a story.
Normal state of my inventory:
Looks like Thr😔wslinger's too good for the multiplayer store and too optimized for diversity. This is the ideal ME3 player's consumables. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like:

It was voluntary, I was both working and in school at the time, so I wasn't home very often (or having much free time), and I had internet both on campus and at my work-place so it would have been a luxury, at a time when funds were tight. And up until I got into ME3mp I had been a strictly offline/singleplayer gamer anyways, so it wasn't really even on my radar until I got a taste of how fun ME3's mp mode was.

[/end of wistful remembrance and derail] I started with the multiplayer a couple of weeks before release when they did the pre-test or whatever it was - the only maps were Ghost and White (the old version). Loved it right from the off. Played for a long time, stopped a bit and now back every now and again for a bit of nostalgia Derperus stompin'. I have an embarrassing number of hours recorded in game. I got nearly all the banners - except the impossible ones. Also: still a crap player ... but I don't care.

I started MP late...can't remember when but it might have been a year later?.... .....I was initially put off with Mass Effect getting MP. I thought it would ruin the game completely. I only tried it because my son told me "you have the PS3?...FREE ONLINE?!...try it"......once i did....i was instantly hooked...it was my first online experience and part of me not wanting to get online anyway at the time was that i heard there was alot of jerks/A$$holes and racists online and i couldn't be bothered with that s**t. But my experience thus far has been pleasant on the PS3 and ME3 MP?...man the PS5 and Xbox Series X is about to drop and i find myself still playing ME3 MP on a daily basis....The phoenix, Destroyer and Demolisher gets played in heavy rotation..... ....it is a shame about those special banners tho...i miss them...i was using the cerberus alt banner.....
