AIU has some damage but it's difficult to dish out much more than you learn in the beginning while many others get to the same level and way above with enough shooting skills and mechanical understanding and it just doesn't shine so much anymore. The class becomes niche (BS duos and solos) and even there is beaten by the TGI IMO. And well, solo times give only a rough estimate of power, but:
1) If a class has to be considered a top damage dealer, it has to show in solos (it doesn't)
2) If you give a ton of unpopular opinions, you need to make it clear that you're serious and somewhat know what you're saying, and numbers (how little they really mean) are a good way to do so. Then you follow with a mechanical analysis (the real argument) if the topic is narrow enough (evaluating one character), but if we're to rank everything compared to everything, there's not enough space and that other ranking also doesn't delve into it, claiming to be a consensus of multiple experienced players instead.
