For those of you who get item boxes from the higher tier missions. Are you actually getting weapons, mods, pieces of armor? I'm getting the boxes, but I open them and receive nothing. I'm also not seeing loot items dropping anymore.

It's not 2 hours of work it's 2 seconds to click the button in the app. After that you are just waiting for a timer to count down. "waiting for the timer to count down" that sounds horrible man - like desperately waiting for your next paycheck. id rather have more piece of mind than doing this.

I'm also not seeing loot items dropping anymore. I presume you are referring to the Item boxes you open in the Single Player Strike Team console. And by higher-tier mission, I presume you mean Gold Strike team missions? If so it's important to note there are three kinds of Box - Credits, Resources, and Items. Be careful not to assume items come in every box. So far for me, looking just at Gold Item boxes, they've all given me weapons, and good ones: N7 Hurricane, Black Widow, Crusader, Pirana, plus some weird Kett/Remnant weapons (don't ask me to remember their names). I haven't received any mods or armor. If you're getting nothing from opening these item boxes, indeed you've got yourself a bug.

Thank you, yes it's clearly marked as "item box" not resource or credit. I am just banking the others now. I guess this is part and parcel with the bug I have where enemies aren't dropping any armor/weapon loot any more and those vendors have no inventory.

I noticed there is an option to retire a strike team. I asked myself why would I do that? But I noticed that my teams can get both good and bad traits which can effect the rating success of a mission. So I'm beginning to suspect that at some point, a level 20 strike team will no longer be as useful as before and having to retire that team. I believe this because I compared two teams to go on a gold mission and my only 20 team has 2 bad traits and had a rating of 41% as oppose to my lvl 18 which had a 61% success rate.
I'm also curious to know if the MF price to get a new team will remain at the high price or lower down after you retire a team.

Why is it gold strike missions don't pay out more mission funds? Most the time I earn the same on bronze besides extra XP, which I have lvl 20 strike teams so the extra xp is useless.
Furthermore played a strike mission and didn't even get payed the 1st and didn't send a team in 1st, but my friend got paid mission funds under exact same condition in the same game with me. Total BS.

Considering MP gear costs missions funds when the store refreshes, plus having supplies in the MP store, plus add on upgrades for strike teams that cost mission funds.... I would say mission funds are not just incentives and a required currency and when getting screwed out of getting paid in them is kinda a big deal. Also add in the fact that upgrades for strike teams cost so much to do gold mission decently chanced that pay less or the same as bronze is just silly and not progressive.

How do you gain APEX rating? I thought it's only in APEX strike missions, but then I don't understand how people can already have 3000-4000 APEX points while I have 800. Doubtful they could get THAT much more than I did even if they succeeded in every single mission since Early Access.

I don't know exact formula, but apparently you also gain it by unlocks and stuff from packs. To get 4k you had to play a lot and buy a lot of packs (for credits or andromeda points, doesn't matter I think). I also have sub 1k, but I have had limited play time and not bought anything with real money.

I have about 4k, all I did was play silver and bronze and unlocked all the common level items by buying basics. Did alot of strike teams as well, but get Apex points by buying stuff unlocked from what I hear, but doesn't take long since I don't usually have much time to play but a few games a day. 1 silver game with extraction is like 4 or 5 basic packs every game.

Yes I was, was trying the strategy of maxing commons 1st then moving up from there to not get so many in more expensive packs. Plus getting bonuses to crappy guns and low level skills is a nice advantage to utilize. Also got several uncommon stuff in basics, may not be the fastest way to go, just now starting experts and playing Apex gold when an advantage suits me or just sticking to silver. Could be it might work out better to do your way of buying packs for higher level higher tier stuff tho, honestly I dunno but I'm strolling along.

The store description for each of these tells you pretty much what they do. The Thermal Clip gives you 75% more spare ammo. The Jugg shield gives you 10% more shield and 75% more melee damage.

+40 MF start -40 2nd strike team +100 MF accumulation -100 strike team equipment (what a waste!) +120 MF accumulation -120 Juggernaut Shield +70 MF accumulation -70 Thermal Clip +170 current MF available
Total +460 MF accumulation on 3/30/2017, 10th day since app launch. Average 46 MF / day. Up a little from my previous average of 40 / day.
So payback time for the 3rd strike team would be about 2 days (for me). I'll probably do this at some point, just because I want to go back and re-capture a team's stats as it levels up from 1st level. But I will wait until we see what new gear is available in the multiplayer store... supposedly today.

This has probably been asked and answered in this thread already but is it worth it to buy equipment for your strike team? (As in more important than spending it on gear for your mp characters priority wise?
(As an aside I brought my tablet into work today and installed the apex app, so much for my whinging about the no app for a pc I guess.)

But that's why I also gave you the numbers, just in case that's all you needed. I double checked in-game, so you can be sure that those are the correct numbers from the tooltip.

I'm actually pretty disappointed, I've been failing missions left and right and I can't seem to rack up any more negative traits.

This has probably been asked and answered in this thread already but is it worth it to buy equipment for your strike team? Short answer: no, absolutely not. Long answer: if you ever find yourself swimming in MF with nothing to buy then maybe, but still only 'maybe'. There is probably a circumstance at which you would want to maximize a team's change of success for a subset of missions. That circumstance doesn't exist now, but Bioware may change the rules of the game later on. At that point you would want to have a teams with really great odds of succeeding in a niche of mission types. I.e. Give a team with "Nighttime Operator" the Nightvision Goggles and you've got a chance at 90% Gold success in nighttime missions. Make sure they don't have or won't get 'Night Blindness'. This would only matter if: - Bioware increased the number of daily missions. This would increase the rate of supply of mission funds, effectively lowering the 'cost' of the gear. - Missions with long durations became more frequent (less chances to retry) - Success rates were reduced by EA. (This would effectively buff the gear bonuses too.) - Mission funds were actually important. At the moment I only need ~200 per week to buy all MP gear and there are only 6 gears currently listed as possibles in the app. Will we be able to buy weapons someday? Even a specific consumable like the xp enhancer would be a nice perk.
