I wish we’d had a few more progenitors, at least. It’s definitely the most enjoyable boss fight of the game. As you said, without cheesed guns it can sometimes get out of hand. The longer it is upright, the more that chamber gets flooded with Assemblers, and thereby Breachers. The fight gets messy with a bunch of those guys shooting and pulling Ryder out of cover. I really like this fight.
It also is a good highlight to how broken crafting is. With one of the super-guns available via crafting, this fight can be ended in about 6-8 seconds. Crafting is a lot of fun, but never got the balancing it needed.

^Ha, I just did the tiller the other night.
I agree completely about the difficulty there. This past run I just said screw it and went full auto Valkyrie, as well as having Invasion as a core power. It was over pretty fast.
I don't remember which run exactly it was, but one of them I had some sort of gimped character with no real shield damage and some crap guns and that fight was much more difficult.
Part of the problem with crafting is just that a lot of the regular weapons are crap, and not really any better when boosted. I still don't know why the Hurricane machine-pistol is more powerful than the Revenant LMG. "Oh, it is ultra-rare." But the Revenant is so rare only the richest warlords have it! It should be ultra-ultra-rare!
Anyway, the level cap and the real lack of power scaling sort of screw up the balance too. In NG++ really seems like it is pointless to use non-weapon buff or enemy debuff powers. I was running fake-Commando (Singularity, Turbocharge, Double Throw) just to try to make an approximation, but the combos were more for making loud noises than anything.

It should be ultra-ultra-rare! (Augments are sadly not on the table, yet as the tools don't allow editing their description) (And yes, I just now updated the changelog for the 3-month old mod version)
My Scott landed on Elaaden. The party had a surprisingly friendly chat with Annea and Jorgal Strux. We also met Danny Messier again. Looks like his new 'purpose' is to stand drunken in a corner. Drack and Liam then went on to reclaim the stolen transport ship. Drack literally dropped Aroane during this mission. Liam also seems to have problems with his short term memory, having asked Drack the same thing about the colony two times in less than ten minutes. What he asked? Well, I don't know: My memory is also having problems* ... That reminds me that Liam was asking Drack the same thing twice during that mission, what a fool
*Actually he asked why Drack had left the colony. To which Drack replied that Morda had everything under control, he wasn't needed. So he went Kett hunting instead.
After returning to the krogan colony, Ryder took Cora and Pebee for a stroll around the place, activating the Monoliths in the process. They also ventured into the crashed Remnant ship.
This time i got only one of the Turret there clipped into the walls! And unlike the other times, it was burried so far in, that it did not proceed to shoot me dead while is wast still wondering w.t.f. that radar-marker was supposed to be.

One of the few uses I've had for favorites is to switch to Infiltrator (if not already playing that specialty) when confronted with a bad guy/thing clipped behind walls. It seems to happen on Eos a lot at one of the Remnant sites and in one of the Kett outposts. I normally carry at least one weapon with a receiver mod, so I can usually kill the critter. The exception is in one of the caves on Kadara. The critters are clipped so far back into the mountain, that I can't shoot them. Also, except for the engineers, in most classes I run annihilation field … so standing next to the clipped bad guy will slowly kill them. Generally, it's far faster just to shoot them, but sometimes I want to save ammo.

Yeah as an adept I sporadically put people into walls and then need to switch to infiltrator mode to find and then kill them in the wall. Good tip on annihilation field, I hadn’t thought about that one. I rarely use that power.

Shockwave is another good choice as it goes through things as well. I used singularity a lot. Witt my expand evolution it usually grabbed them and might pull them out or very slowly kill them and I didn’t need to know where they really were. Normally it doesn’t matter but the times it happens on a mission and you need to kill the last dude to progress it’s irritating.
It’s pretty damn rare though.

Yeah I probably had it happen maybe 6 times in missions in 15 PT's where the mission wouldn't end because someone was stuck in a wall somewhere. At least 3 of those were on Havarl during the mission to find the Angaran Roekaar guy that is Zorai's ancestor. It always happened on the steps leading up the cliff. The other recurring one for me was a Remnant stuck in some pillars on Elaaden where you have to shutdown the data cores at three sites for PeeBee.

Always happens at the Eos main kett base. That place is a nightmare for bugs. Even if I do manage to kill them all, every time I drive by afterwards they are all back at the front, along with the turrets.

I remember you mentioning this before, that'd be so annoying. I never had a problem there but I did have problems on the generator mission for Bain Massani, that building always had kett stuck underneath it.

I never had a problem there but I did have problems on the generator mission for Bain Massani, that building always had kett stuck underneath it. Yeah, this became glitched for me (PS4 Pro) after one of the early patches. That location is impossible to properly complete; but it is ideal for weapons testing on Kett, since they always respawn. When testing, I start there and just circle through the Press-On Dunes. I also recall the bugged Watcher you mentioned on Elaaden. He’s been bugged since an early patch, much like the base on Eos. When I soon begin a new game, I think I’m going to play a Sentinel (Lance/Annihilation/Energy Drain). I never finished that PT. It has Energy Drain, so of course it’s OP; but I love detonations, and it has a great combination of aural and visual effects. I’m going to use crappier guns this PT. This build defintely favors shotguns, so I’ll try to identify and tweak a less noisy one from the assortment. For range, I think I’ll use a Ghost VHS. I love that gun, despite its goofy reverse-bloom mechanic and mediocre damage. They screwed up its beautiful white casing, though. 😒 I just finished saying that I’d not use optimized guns, but if I can’t find a semi-quiet shotgun, there’s always the Burst-fire Beam Dhan. 😆 That’s a crazy ass weapon. Pretty unique, but thoroughly broken. Not an option. If I can’t find something quiet enough to suit me, I’ll cobble a pistol to go with my Ghost and run with that. There are some pretty cool, but mechanically lacking weapon concepts that I’ve not used extensively.

Something kind of strange working as intendedtm happened to me: I was driving to the Flophouse on Elaaden, to get the Remnant drive core stashed there. So I stop the Nomad at the initially sealed main building, hop out, kill two troopers. Then the next couple of exiles and two Adhi come and meet their doom -at that point I can hear (and using recon visor, see) the HydraMech at the main floor. Suddenly about half a dozen exiles, including two armoured Turians enter the fight from somewhere, and quickly overwhelm me as I was trying to flank the Hydra and momentarily without cover. So Ryder eats dirt, the last autosave is luckily just 20metres or so from the place I wanted parked the Nomad. Redoing the little entry, I again quickly dispatch the first two exile couples and one of their dogs (the other one clipped through some closed doors and was subsequently killed by Cora, I believe). The Turians spawn to the left on the higher level and are also done for fast this time, as their only support -two snipers- positioned in adjacent positions, so that at most one of them at a time can shoot that specific position where the fight was then. After killing the Snipers, again half a dozen new enemies spawn, but from a more distant location and more spread out. So after disposing of that wave of enemies -and several after that- It dawns on me that the Hydra is nowhere to be found! It did not clip into a wall or the ground or anything (or if it did, it was destroyed immediately and silently). So where did it go? The Flophouse is one of the few open world fighting places with fixed enemy spawn AFAIK, so it should have been there. Has something like this missing enemy happened to anyone else? Anyway, after killing every last exile there and finally securing the drive core - YES Pebee, I KNOW its right there, just let me look behind this... oh, nothing there either. Nevermind then So after finally picking up the drive core Cora, Pebee and Ryder drove to the Remnant vault of the moon. I'm currently standing right in front of the purification field trigger, wondering if i manage to get to both of the sealed loot-spots and whether I should even try -As I'm almost out of inventory space.

The loot behind the sealed areas is (thankfully) totally not worth the time and effort to get it. It's mostly crafting material.
Is it bad that I don't remember a Hydra at the Flop House nor have ever noticed fixed spawn points there?

Some of the battles/maps the enemies spawn in the same places, The Flop House is one and a Hydra always spawns at the start of buildings when you enter via the little gorge gate.

So, Ryder activated the vault and managed to grab the contents of both sealed areas in the process. On the way back to the krogan colony, the team planted a lure and pacified a fiend with it, to be used in some form of rite by the shaman. Finally arriving at the krogan colony, Jorgal Strux claimed that Ryder had sold the remnant drive core. He tried to to make Morda look incompetent and the nexus even more anti-krogan than most of them believed it was. Of course then Drack spoiled that this wasn't the case. A I-still-don't-know-what-thats-supposed-to-be fight between Morda and Strux was quickly over. Morda got the drive core and is now back at being only able to grunt. Anyway a new outpost got set up, so thats a win. I also finally got to craft rank7 equipment. Still the krogan shaman was waiting to perform the rite with two adversary krogan fighters. And one of the insisted on Ryder taking part. It turns out that the shaman not only brought the one fiend caught by Ryder, but also two others! I wonder how he did that All I can do is hectic jumping around when there are multiple of them, and he somehow managed to get three of them -seemingly unhurt- into the arena for the fight. I must get this guy to join the team somehow: Imagine what he could do to normal kett troops! I bet even the worm on Elaaden is just jumping around the place to avoid getting captured by the shaman!

I didn't get the impression that the males only showed up after the tamed fiend was brought into the arena. So did he just sneak past the two males, lift up the female fiend onto his Tomka/ Vehicle (those things look great btw!) and drive away or tow the female fiend -with the other two mindlessly following into the arena? Or did he stun the males too, and then move them all together into the arena?

So yesterday I picked up a paused MEA PT where Sara had set up the outpost on EOS and had headed back to The Nexus. Sara spoke to Scott in his medically induced coma and told him the bad news re Dad and the golden worlds being a bust. Watched a memory of Alec's, listened to an audio log, tried to destroy SAM Node with Dr Aridana's equations, took some hops to The Vortex and saw the start of the Karaoke. Spoke to a hacked Avina and then headed for Aya but got stopped by some ugly looking man-child alien with a god complex but thanks to SAM escaped his evil clutches and headed to Aya on fire. Landed and was met by The Angara who were a tad unfriendly, met Jaal and talked to Evfra re the vault. Jaal agreed to chaperone us to Havarl and Voeld to prove we were trustworthy and so to Havarl we went. Spoke to Kiran and Rashel and now off to save some scientists and find some lost data. Some pic's - Anyone using imgur have it completely change its layout etc?Avina talking anti-AI propaganda Karaoke Begins Sara looking serious Havarl

I was on elastin driving up to the krogan outpost. A ship dropped off 3 raiders right in front, they must be envoys or something. You wouldn’t start shit that close to the krogans. I drove up to say hi and my foot slipped off the break and a barreled into them. One of them flew off into the giant sinkhole. As I got out to apologize I said the only thing that cake to mind”oops”(I legit think I heard Ryder say that). They were not impressed with my apology and opened fire. What could of been peaceful ended up a tragedy and I was forced to kill them. Accidents do happen.

Still less than my number of DAI PTs though. I'm too hooked on SWTOR lately to play MEA. It will be a while getting through all the class stories.
