Well, I started another PT of MEA, switching my Scott for Sara. Her voice started annoying me on H7. 😆 I did have fun playing Sentinel (Pull/Singularity/Throw). Even more so than in ME3, Sentinel is a better Adept than the Adept. The extra Combo Damage is way better than Biotic Echoes. Even with the crappy, H7 gear, the difference in damage was apparent. I’m not sure I can stick with Sara. I might need to restart (again) as pseudo-Adept Scott. I just hate Sara’s screechy voice so much. I’ll probably just jump back into AC Odyssey as soon as NG+ drops, so maybe I should just wait on playing MEA a while longer.

The last 3 I told myself not to get but i kept selling myself on them, this time it will be different. Not going to do it again, maybe when its like $10 I'll get it on a lark.

I know what they are (and are not) and enjoy them. In regard to the last three, I really liked Origins and Unity. Syndicate I liked less. Odyssey is fun if you like AC games, but completely skippable if not. I’m just not feeling like playing anything, at the moment. I can’t get into MEA. By now I should be ready to drop Odyssey for a while, but can’t seem to do so completely. I just finished replaying HZD again, so I want to let that one rest for a while. Nothing else is holding my attention, so I imagine I’ll continue Odyssey.

So quick romp around Voeld yesterday with a side trip to EOS to get Cora's quest regarding The Periphona. Again still having no luck with the random quests popping AT ALL. Rescued The Mosahe and had fun flinging Cobras at Fiends in the last fight and making the shuttle wait while I killed about twenty o them LOL. Blew the place up as usual, then roamed around activating 2 of the monoliths. pic's Love killing this zealot Time to go

My big disappointment is I never shoot the cardinal myself, like you in that scene one of my followers does it for me. I'm almsot tempted to save the angara just so I can soot her personally. Side note your Ryder reminds me of Sloan in appearance.
Edit to add, I don;t know how people get 100% in this game due to all the randomly spawning quests that never seem to randomly spawn for me.

Yeah I always destroy the place, the Moshae raises good points that I concur with ad plus it gets her on your good side and yes I wish I got to shoot The Cardinal or whatever she is too. I have never experienced the random quests all failing to pop before and I absolutely hate the mechanic of it, its just a time soak and adds nothing to the experience. I have never been able to achieve 100% in 15 PT's I always get stuck on 99% even completing all the random quests. Now you mention it she does look a bit like Sloane!!!!! I once made a Scott that looked exactly like Reyes the first time I played without haven't met him and I also accidentlly made a Scott that looks like the guy that picks a fight with you and Drack on Kadara at Umi's bar. I deliberately made a Sara that looked as much like Captain Dunn as I could and also made one that looked like Ryders mum.

Voeld and Eos would drive me nuts on the random quests.
Generally, did not have problems on Kadara (did on a couple), eventually figured out how to reliably trigger them on Eladaan.
But Voeld … what a pain in the Nexus.

But Voeld … what a pain in the Nexus. What's your "reliable" method for triggering them on Elaaden? I used to out of habit do the map counter-clockwise but found doing it clockwise (so as to not miss the secret vault) seems to make them trigger more reliably.

I'm not sure of the compass directions … but if you head out from the first little outcropping departing from New Tuchunka … (paralleling the outpost) back toward the larger part of the map … then head down the valley … just keep going. There are several outlaw posts and other stuff along the way.
For me, that reliably spawns the random quests … when I finally get to the end, turn back go the other way … they keep spawning … I hold off on the final leg of each one, until I've got all the early segments done … then go finish off the final leg for each of the … three? random quests.
Once I figured that one out, on the subsequent Eladaan runs, never had any issues. Unlike Eos and Voeld. There is probably some scheme for them too, I just never figured it out.

Cool will give that ago this PT. Voeld has always been a difficult one as I have had then spawn at the very first encounter and like this PT severe delays in getting them to pop. I am not sure there is a method on Voeld, I think Voeld is broken with things like its weather bugs etc.

One thing I noticed this time on Voeld and Elaadeen: You have to be literally inside the camps for the side quests to spawn their needed extras, or at least to get that Sam line and be able to interact with the <whatever> there. Sometimes I killed every trooper and was about to leave, before the notification popped. Also (I know this affects Voeld, not sure about the others): When such a quest is started but not all of the three or four pieces are found, dying or more specifically reloading a save in that condition might sometimes mess up the quest. Then you have to find the exact same number of random items that are already found(!), before the next found item finally forwards the quest. Maybe this is even two separate bugs: Sometimes I got dialog for some of the re-found items, as if the quest was restarting from the beginning, sometimes I just had to find the stuff again, without the possibility to interact with it or get a dialog piece. I hope that post makes sense, I'm pretty tired atm.

I don't think that is quite right. The quest spawns happen before the notification. In fact for some of the ones with noticeable devices you can cruise on by and look for the asset, and if it is there hop out. I was doing this for the devices on Voeld, for example.
In any case, if you are trying to get all of them, the best bet is to just use Save / Reload scumming. I used that a lot on Elaadan to get all the bs side quests. I would just use the forward station point at Paradise and heads sort of north to the Scavenger point and see if any of the side quest crap dropped. If not, reload. If it does, go back to the station then save and reload. No, I don't mind breaking immersion and being a dishonorable gamer for RNG. Driving around Elaadan for an hour trying to get those things to spawn cured me of that.
I don't think I have had a problem with those rng quests and saving or reloading. On my last two runs I was having really good luck finding them on my first time through the planets though.

So last two days on Voeld, activated the monoliths, restarted the vault and solved the puzzle to get the remnant box/data core first time ( melbella are you impressed ) and finally got "Subjugation" to complete. However wasted twenty minutes driving round as the journal said SAM still needed more data but then noticed the icon for the location was on the map. Rescued The Moshae returned to Voeld and picked up a few more of the random quest pieces of data, found the wreck of The Periphona and then did Raelis's mission to get the Genetic data. Took down the Architect, then back to Aya to return The Moshae and chose to go straight to the Vault on arrival after speaking to the guy (Soekha Esof) you did the mission for on Voeld. Next, to visit Avela, scan some fruit and the myriad of other arriving at Aya missions you get, then hopefully back to EOS. Pic's Pretty Voeld The architect The Moshae up and about on The tempest And arriving back on Aya

So finished what I could on Aya and then headed back to The Nexus to tidy up some stuff there like meeting PeeBee, checking some memories with SAM and kicking off the Spender investigation. Visited The Vortex for no other reason that to see if I go straight there every time I arrive at The Nexus it would play and so far I am 2 for 2. I am wondering if you go to The Nexus and do other stuff but don't visit The Vortex whether the game assumes you went there. So if you visit three or four times and don't go to The Vortex you miss seeing any of the Karaoke and possibly if you don't go there the first visit it maybe never triggers at all. Pure speculation but going to The Vortex each time I have visited The Nexus from the beginning seems to be working at this stage. Anyway then off to EOS now the radiation has cleared, just always feels weird for me doing Eos after Voeld. Placed Dash's pendant, placed some beacons, found some drones, finished site 2's project, solved the murder, found the sites of the missing researcher and the vault where her body was. Got Grace Lito E-97 Durango sent back to EOS and chased down the shuttle with other site 2 survivors on it. Placed the first survey hammer, scanned some rocks and found an edible plant. Spoke to Bain Massani and took down the generator building and the barracks and today will take down the Kett Base and "Little Duck" will stomp on The Invictor good and proper. Pic's Karaoke Found a truck I hadn't scanned before Rapping Kett - sorry don't have video but killed this Kett and he just kept spinning round and round on the ground.

I also go to the vortex bar each time I'm at the nexus; still I got the karaoke part only once, and never the poetry night part Last week I finally left Elaaden, after finishing the little side missions. As the last outpost was placed, a ZK-Tracker in orbit finally revealed the location of the supply stealing Dr. Kennedy. Though first the Tempest visited the Nexus once more. Drack and Ryder got Spender exiled. I'm sure its not their fault if Drack one of Drack's scouts someone lets him disappear for good After that, Ryder took Cora and Pebee to Voeld in order to search for the pregnant Dr. Kennedy. The big damn heroes they are, they arrived just in the nick of time to save Kennedy from the Kett and the Roekaar. I remembered that fight a lot more difficult than it finally was Even the Roekaar Hydra went down almost too fast I probably need to go back to tweaking stuff then , which has been the most of what I actually did this week. Going over Eos a couple of times, wiping out kett bases in order to test skills, profiles, mods, etc.

That’s the karaoke segment? I’ve seen that about 50% of the time (PS4Pro). That particular story, told by the Aya citizen, reminds me of the Rakata prison device that Revan opens after being told absolutely not to open it.

I have found in NG+ sometimes the difficulty of fights seems to fluctuate wildly. On EOS yesterday, I fair dinkum thought I was playing on Insanity when stopping at Kett encampments. In a small camp there would be like 4 or more Ascendants and 6 or more Anointed as well as the horde of Chosen.

I might have accidentally broken Cryo-ammo though, or didn't reset the difficulty to insanity before continuing the mission with Scott. As for the encampment sizes, I think those are completely randomly chosen from a list of fixed possible enemy groups. So large groups can appear, but that should not be tied to difficulty (AFAIK).

Finished off my elaadin quest lines. Gave crazy lady the remnant drive core. Some dude wanted to be a warlord and asked me to kill some dudes so he could take their base. I’m not sure why I agreed but I did. When I went there I decided to take charge for a spin. I threw out a singularity and then charged into a raider when suddenly there was a earth shattering kaboom and I fell through what used to be the ground, sky was everywhere until I left the mission area and teleported to safety.
Played some soccer, finished peebees loyalty quest. Went to a shattered planet and killed some goons and their boss. Jumped a big ravine. Heading towards a tiller tomorrow.

Haven't gotten that one yet! It least it wasn't the ME3MP charge bug, that sets one stuck in spaaaacee the air.
BTW, the last really weird bug I got was when driving around on Eos. Hopped out of the car to kill some straggler Kett. Hopped back in and drove a bit further... ...Suddenly the Nomad vanishes and I'm on foot again. The Nomad nowhere to be found. Just gone, from one moment to the next.

That’s the karaoke segment? I’ve seen that about 50% of the time (PS4Pro). That particular story, told by the Aya citizen, reminds me of the Rakata prison device that Revan opens after being told absolutely not to open it. I hadn't seen that one before and I hadn't heard the barman and barmaid comment before. I have no idea what Rakata and Revan are about!!!!! KOTOR. It's a quest in the game.
