What Did You Do Today in Andromeda

I've just started Andromeda again. Just got to this galaxy and out planet is a bust and the first Aliens we meet start shouting and shooting. Then we go to the nexus and it's not what we expected at all. Needs a lot of work. Then they give me grief. How typical. Next they have some sabotage that I fix and I am alerted to a murder I can help solve. After talking to everyone and checking on my brother I get my shiny new ship.

I have had that happen once as well with Jaal's loyalty mission. Is this what you got?

So yesterday finished Eos by taking down The Kett base and kicking The Invictors butt which is always a fun thing. The game had a problem in the base though where after fighting to get into the base at the point where you go right left and then back to shut down the shield and shuttles usually fly in no shuttles came and there were no enemy kett!!! So that made that bit easy, then turned off alarms and killed Kett, then shut down the base.

Then went and planted the last survey hammer, mined the gas so Advent could keep their water and has a fun battle with the Architect.

then off to Kadara, met with Sloane and didn't accept her offer to talk to Vehn and then let her execute him. Met Reyes/Shena scanned a murdered body, spoke to an Outcast who exiled Remi Tomayo, went to the slums, met Dr Nakomoto, spoke to Cassandra Werner, spoke to Kian Dagher (Keen Dagger) and got a free drink. Spoke to Derc about Baryte, spoke to Reyes re the murders and headed out with Cora and Vetra.

Headed straight to rescue Remi, killed some Scav's on the way and picked up the side quests, killed some cannibals and rescued Remi, activated a monolith and retrieved Nakomoto's Oblivion formula. Scanned some more dead bodies in some ponds, found a salarian locker, spoke to some wind farmers, fixed an antenna and got given a UV lamp. Found the wind turbine thieves dead and fought an Ancient Eiroch.

Game went weird and got the view from an Assembler

Got a short half an hour to play:
After sighting the data gained from Turian stasis pods found on Elaaden, Avitus Rix found the location of the Turian Ark.
We got there, but the Ark was pretty demolished. Even gravity didn't work. Ryder told Avitus time and again that Macen could still be alive, that that didn't turn out to be true.
It was the turian sam that had send pods away and the ark to its destination point. That sam was in pretty bad condition, due to the sudden death of macen during the pathfinder role transition.
In the end, Avitus reluctantly agreed to take over the role of turian pathfinder.
And now I finally have all arks and pathfinders accounted for.

Deleting recently aborted saves, I started again with Scott (default twins). I started at level 1 as a Biotic, planning to go Adept (Pull/Singularity/Throw). I played on Normal for the first time since the game was newly released. It made Habitat 7, and its crappy ass gear, less grindy and slightly more enjoyable. I think familiarity has bred contempt, for me, in regard to H7. I hate the shitty starting gear, and how the Kett are such bullet sponges. Playing on Normal, instead of Insanity, helped a bit. If I finally make further into this PT (or even off of Hyperion and onto the Nexus) I’ll switch back to Insanity. Better gear and skills immediately kick in post-H7.

While I’m likely to pause this PT to continue AC Odyssey once LotFB Ep3 releases, I think I might be able to get reinvested at some point. I love MEA’s gameplay, but I just can’t seem to get any game to stick, of late. Maybe I’m a bit burnt out on gaming, at the moment; or rather in need of an entirely new game.

That's funny I took a break from MEA today and played Odyssey. 

Yeah I hate how you get gimped on H7, its very annoying.

THey did have those kind of missions in the game, but removed them for.. maybe running out of time reason. There is a thread about them ..

I'm on Eos activating the monoliths. I did a few side quests but it's much easier to do them once the vault is active.

Beat the Architect on Voeld with Cobra RPGs for fits and giggles. Had to wait for Remnant to spawn more a few times to beat a Heskaarl record and finally finished a few tasks on Voeld that randomly spawn in different locations.

EDIT: Had just came across one of the bugs in luring a Fiend to the Krogan fight pits. Instead of sitting down, it now follows Ryder everywhere like a giant gorilla puppy. Tried to run from it with the Nomad and it's following everywhere on Elaaden.

So finally got some time to play MEA today and of course …………… a F%$#ing Windows Update the day before had changed all the administrator settings and security settings for the game, game folders, shortcuts and also for Frosty Mod Manager. Finally got the game to work but the Mod Manager launches the game but it doesn't display on the monitor. So deleted FMM and will reinstall again later and hopefully it works, as I have so many aesthetic mods that the game just doesn't look or feel right without them.
