Hmmm, I may consider that. Right now I'm more focused on the fact that my right joy stick going the opposite of what I think it should, so aiming is some tough crap right now. I've played with settings a few times with nothing specifically saying Toggle stick and just randomly flipped some things and nothing seems to be working. when I press the right toggle towards the left, the view goes right and vice versa. At least up and down remain the same but my brain is like urgh, whaaaa Element Zero saandrig do you guys know what would be making a controller toggle stick be working the opposite direction to the way it should? Drivers malfunction, hardware malfunction? If it does it in all games then it's probably not an issue with the game config files. If it's on PC I would suggest taking a look at the Windows drivers and even the config file for the controller and maybe resetting them. (I suck with controllers )

Im not at my computer to check this in the settings at the moment, but I know I flipped both of those x/y axis things. First one, it didn't do anything, then the other. But will give it a shot when I get on again on the evening time of the 13th Don't you use some sort of mod to allow you to use the controller with the ME games on PC? Perhaps that software isn't set up quite right and is overriding your x/y axis settings ingame. (I know nothing about it since I don't play on PC, but I thought I;d just throw this in to try to help). Those mods are on my desktop not this laptop so I know it's not that. but creative idea if I had been on the desktop though, and I appreciate it.

So yesterday got back to my latest PT of MEA. Not a lot of time and unfortunately most of it was talking, talking to crew on The Tempest, talking to King of the boneheads when he ambushed us on the way to Aya and then lots of talking when we got to Aya and met the Angaran's Scott got to meet Grumpy Evfra, Iam not sure who I am Jaal and I am the boss except I am not Governor Paraan. Then agreed to relic hunt for Avaela and find lost persons for Sokha. Jaal joined us on The Tempest and there was more talking with everyone and then off to Havarl for some more talking with "Gem in a Mouth of a Fish" woman for whom Scott agreed to go rescue some stasis trapped scientists and Rashel (?) who Scott agreed to do some pest extermination for. Then met a guy putting out a fire and then got to shoot all sort of exotic creatures and some anti alien zealots which is all Scott was really interested in doing!!!! Found the location of the stasis affected scientists and also found some Hops for The Vortex and got to shoot killer robots as well. Unfroze the scientists and then and went and shot more exotic creatures and zealots. Then headed back and picked up some more quests to fix the vault. Oh and scanned lots of planets!!! Encountered the issue I had last PT with the loadout screen not loading new characters and narrowed it down to being a mod. Removed some that were new and it went away so now a process of elimination or I'll just leave those all out but they include one I really like that Mods Suvi and Lexi's science outfits. Pic's Met this guy, didn't really like him Met a new group of aliens Got a new crew member Rescued some scientists Suvi looking good in her modded black science outfit, wish she was available as a Scott Romance:

I don't play on PC, but I definitely use controllers. It sounds like one or both of the axes need to be inverted. Y-axis inversion would mean up is down and vice versa. X-axis inversion would cause left and right to swap. Whichever is currently screwy, toggling the setting should fix it. I guess the controller could be bad, but even then I'd expect the settings to correct this. If the stick is totally borked, then I imagine the cursor or reticle would be all over the screen. EDIT: I see I'm way late on this reply. That's what I get for following the tag and replying without reading ahead. I guess it's appropriate that I acknowledge totally falling away from my MEA PT yet again. My previous post discussed trying to avoid this. I haven't actually turned on my PS4 since. I've had the time, but I've just been doing other stuff. The same thing happened the last time I played MEA. It was likewise during Voeld that my enthusiasm waned that time. Maybe I've just hit my limit with this game? As much as I enjoyed it, MEA never had the insane hold on me that the MET did. The gameplay was the big appeal for me. With the MET, it was the story, and the gameplay simply enhanced the experience. Having long ago reached a point at which I'd tried nearly every worthwhile gameplay build, I think I've squeezed everything I can from MEA. It bums me out a bit, but it's becoming pretty obvious after several aborted PTs.

I do get Element Zero though. There is definitely a pretty big dip in motivation somewhere in the middle of the game for me as well every time I play through it. Too many fetch/random/collection quests and too much planet hopping and back and forth. It's great again, once you get through it and I am very happy I stuck with it a few month ago and saw the ending for a second time (it was my forth attempt over all) but especially if you are a compulsive completionist even on later PTs (like me), it can be hard to keep up momentum.

I think for me it's Voeld as well, just too much to do there and the bug with the environment after you reset the vault then have to fight the architect making it really difficult just adds to it. This time around I am just going to so the main quests on Voeld and leave. So Kett Command Centre, rescue the Moshae and Reset the Vault and kill the Architect. There is one random quest, subjugation I think that gives a collectible data core, will try and do that one as well.

Finished the game. Save menu 100%, Heleus Progression 99%. Ah well. Maybe I will look through all of them tomorrow. Wish I could sort the jumbled mess in the journal.

Like melbella, I got to the 100% by going back and checking every system by scanning upon entering each one since the markers for them disappear when you complete that quest... but they will come up as anomalies when you scan the systems they are in.

Imagine, now, having completed 16 100%-PTs and about 5 partials. I've just completely exhausted what the game has to offer. I had two full pages of completed/importable Shepards for ME1. (I think that's 20 per page.) I can't say for sure, but I'm pretty certain that I completed the game around 100 times. I know it was more than 70. That decreases with each sequel, but only because playing those involved replaying an entire trilogy. It wasn't feasible, I suppose, to hope MEA would be as beloved, addictive or whatever. It's a solid game. It just doesn't appeal to me in the same way.

I'm not sure how you do it though. At some point, I could literally quote all the dialogue from ME before the lines were spoken and that - to me - made subsequent PTs unbearable. And honestly, while I love the gameplay in all ME games, that alone is not enough to keep me going, so skipping dialogues is not something I do.
I am very happy at this point that I haven't touched the trilogy in over 2 years now. Iam hoping that when I give it another go in a year or so, it might actually feel kinda fresh again.

I accept how you feel, but I also feel that the number of possible playthroughs would increase IF ME:A were a Trilogy of related games rather than a singular game since different, seemingly minor, decisions now could increase in importance or affect other decisions to a greater degree if more of the story existed. Would it ever have the same appeal as ME1 did for some? Perhaps not, but I personally don't find ME1 particularly variable. Given how Shepard's individual backstories were not carried forward and how little difference being renegade or paragon actually made in ME1, I find I can pretty much run the gambit of truly different importable saves in about 10-12 playthroughs.

Not that I remember, I have only ever checked that all the systems were 100% and they were. That being said I have scanned every system every time I have played, is there a trigger to getting it to appear? Do you have to have done something or progressed to a certain point as all I can think is that you have to go back to a system I have already scanned?

Its not the scourge scans at the end as I do all of them anyway not just the required 3 but thanks for the suggestion. I always scan all the systems and they say 100% but will go back and scan them all again as it must be the anomaly melbella pointed out and it must occur after a system has already been scanned earlier.

I replayed MET either late last year or earlier this year and enjoyed it having not touched it for a few years, although ME1's game mechanics and combat is a chore!!!!!! I honestly could not tell you how many times I have played ME2 and ME3 but it would be high teens I am guessing (and to the point my kids only gave me MET birthday and Xmas presents for a few years) and the N7 logo is the only thing I have ever considered getting as a tattoo. ME1 I liked the story but as said above the mechanics were too much of a chore, much like the early AC games.

I have no idea what you are talking about, so I guess I didn't find it. So if a system says 100% it isn't necessarily 100%? I did go back and reference the mass effect wiki for all the missions, here are the ones I don't remember doing, or can't find, or whatever due to game stupidity: Cora Harper: Duty Calls Jaal Ama Darav: Angaran Affection Liam Kosta: Something for Us Peebee: Spirits Task: Past, Present, Future ^These are romance quests, and since the whole point of this run was to romance Suvi, they were not unlocked or completed Eyes on the Ground Stage a Rescue
^These are called something else if you do Voeld first. Frosty Reception Bridge Sabotage The Vanished
Pathfinder Armor Crafting ^Crap I missed this run, but have done since. Resistance Trap Strange Beacon ^Stuff that isn't tracked in the journal, but I am pretty sure I did A Job for Danny Messier ^A buggy, untracked quest. I definitely talked to him at some point. Task: Augmentation Crafting ^Unfortunately, I think I crafted augments before even going to Elaadan, and I can't find this guy to try and talk to him now (I don't remember who it is, he is supposed to be near Paradise). Monkeys in Space ^I don't have the FUPM editions, so I shouldn't have this quest available.

Did you guys find the salarian botany-gone-wild shuttle?
I've gone back to every system and scanned again, just to make sure I found everything.
Frosty Reception Bridge Sabotage Pathfinder Armor Crafting ^Crap I missed this run, but have done since. The problem with some of the quests you have in the list if I am correct they don't count towards 100%, this is the other stupid thing I discovered when trying to get 100% early on. There is a list somewhere on the net that actually tells you what ones contribute to 100% and what ones don't but I don't have it anymore and just stopped caring re getting the Heleus 100% .

Not that I remember, I have only ever checked that all the systems were 100% and they were. That being said I have scanned every system every time I have played, is there a trigger to getting it to appear? Do you have to have done something or progressed to a certain point as all I can think is that you have to go back to a system I have already scanned?
I think it's in the system where you find the salarian ark, so you have to go back after Hunting the Archon.

So if a system says 100% it isn't necessarily 100%? Correct, because some things might not be scannable/active yet when you first get there. For example, the cheese wheel in the Khi Tasira system won't show up the first time you enter that system but scanning "everything" will get you to 100%. Then, after finishing the mission (and finding the secret specimen) it will be scannable if you ping again. I have reached 100% completion without finishing what I consider major things, like Movie Night and defeating one of the Architects, so it's kind of a crap shoot whether you get it or not.
