lucretia, my current Scott started with the same head scan #1. I can see the changes you made. I made changes too, meaning they look like cousins or brothers rather than clones. Pretty cool.

Obviously one has to actually flirt with Keri to get these lines. I've never flirted with her and I've never had her say anything about anyone I was actually romancing, nor try to ninja-mance me in any way. ME1 Liara thinks you want to bang her simply because you are nice and talk to her a couple of times. No flirting required!
What I was saying above is that I didn't choose the flirt option at all in any of the conversations and when we got to the last chat at the bar it still gave me the option to go back to her place.
If you're meeting her in the bar, you must have flirted with her at some point without realizing it. The only places I've talked to her are in the main areas for interviews and when she's in jail.

Keri never invites me to her apartment :C Unless people are rioting outside I guess. If it's a new game plus Ryder from one that did flirt with her, it could be some messed up variables? --- Wandered around Voeld for quite a while with Elias trying to get the side quests. But nobody was spawning. Not even the Kett. (There were some, but like 1 out of 3 little camps were just empty).
So loaded up Eliza instead and wandered around Voeld with her. The Kett went wild, showering me with bugs and hack-able consoles and dead angara. Which maybe isn't nice, but handy. Saved the Angara prisoners and shut down some shuttles. Then Eurovision break. Dance dance dance.
Next up Kett base. Went fairly well, no deaths of note. Nabbed an angaran Goodbye gun and I love it. New favorite right there. Then shield city. Shot the computer because technology is evil. A quick break to go to Aya and see if Avela wanted the statue (she didn't, not yet) and to bring the weapons to my good man Sohkaa. He did not sell me Cobra grenades, so Clancy is still the best boy.
Then Vault time! Was stupid and tried to ride the roof as it raised, fell down into the nasty water and scrambled out with a fingernails worth of life support, so died a few step afters. Reload left me with two fingernails worth of life support, but was able to crawl back into the nomad and support up at the nearest supply station. Destroyer buddy was on easy mode this time, being able to just tactical cloak and heat up safely while it talks to the turret changes this fight so much. The console puzzle on the other side gave me some trouble instead, fell in the hole and kept respawning there, but was eventually able to grab on a ledge and climb out. Also one of the observers further in got stuck in a wall or something. Couldn't see it, but it could shoot at me. Ended up just leaving it there and luckily it could not shoot me on the beam platform. Almost forgot the Data core, but nabbed it during the cloud run.
Got the a-ok for an outpost, set it up and then searched for merchants and research stations. Nothing special in stores, but remembered to update her new legs with cryo blast. Also made her a little knife, but I do prefer the cryo gauntlet so far. I've also been spoiled by the Remnant gun, not having to fetch ammo is so nice, so maybe I'll try the vintage heat sink in the future.
Then speed run save the Moshae. Go go go. Cardinal wasn't too bad and neither was the extraction. It's still bad, just nicer when you can hide and have them shoot the Moshae instead. Har har har. Destroyed the horror palace and got back to the Tempest. Talking will have to wait for later. Or well, most of the talking. Did lick test talk with Suvi and gosh she's sweet.

Whom was I fooling? I played some HZD, but came right back to MEA. It's the game I want to play, it's just that things are feeling a bit stale. I need to mix up my cosmetic and gameplay elements. With that goal, I dud some more R&D and testing. I'm pleased with the results.
Armor: Heleus Icon (Shield Oscillator of course; Shield Accelerator x4; FMoA)
There's no surprises here. It's a good Soldier armor, with weapon damage and damage resistance. I wish Power Damage bonuses increased thinfs like Turbocharge and Tactical Cloak. Sadly, it seems to only boost immediate-resolution powers, not powers with durations. Still, switching to this made no significant dip in performance from my customized Pathfinder kit that I usually use.
For visual variance, I altered my Ai color palette a bit. I went with a medium grey base, near-white secondary, blue patter (#2). This looks really badass. I even think the helmet works, since its purple visor is downplayed. It goes without saying that Sara wears this way better than Scott. 😆
Weapon: M-25 Hornet (Automatic Fire; Beam Emitter; Mod Extension; Mods -- Barrel, Melee Optimizer, Heavy Clip)
This weapon has always been very similar in feel and performance to the Valkyrie. It stood to reason that the above build would be good. It has done advantages over the Valkyrie that are worth considering, which I'll discuss momentarily. The two are so similar that it's nearly impossible to call one better than the other. If the Hornet had the two additional augmentation slots that the Valkyrie has, it would be king.
The first obvious advantage of the Hotnet is that it has a crazy RoF (925 base). With the Beam Emitter and Autofire, this jumps up to 1475! That's crazy. While its base damage is about 40% lower then the Valkyrie (I forgot to get exact numbers, and this is dependent upon character build, mods and augmentations), its RoF is more than double. This should mean that it does slightly more DPS. The trade-off is that it depletes a clip, and sips your hp, a bit more quickly.
To keep the hp from being as big an issue, I chose to use a Mod Extension Augmentation on this gun instead of a Kinetic Coil. The 3% damage boost sacrificed allows us to double our clip size with a Heavy Clip mod. Using this setup, I had zero issues with hp. It was very similar to using a similarly built Valkyrie.
The other advantages are cosmetic. This gun looks badass. It's a pistol, so it folds up small and holsters on the leg. I think that's cool. It also has a grey body with this setup, and it complements my armor. Very cool. Lastly, I use this with a Soldier build. When a Soldier holsters his weapon, it's usually flashing blue or red with the Profile's damage booster. This lighting effect is really cool on the leg holstered pistol. This game has great lighting, and those lights flashing over moving legs are like gaming-tech eye-candy. It's a cool look.
I think I'll use this as my sole weapon on a Soldier (Invasion/Tactical Cloak/Turbocharge). Melting Fiends and Destroyers with a tiny ass SMG is pretty satisfying. It reminds me of that tiny gun in MiB. Judge it not by its size! 😉
If it were easier to share pics from my PS4Pro, I'd share some of these. Alas, it's a PITA.

Maybe, but pretty sure I didn't it was the first time I decided to not flirt with her!!!! When I got to the last interview she said something like are you still interested when I hadn't flirted with her at all that I remember and so I just went with it, hence the bar situation sorry should have been clearer.

So yesterday kicked off a new MEA PT NG++++++++++ Made a Sara that I am happy with and have decided because of how she looks she is the love child of Alec and Captain Dunn So after the adrenaline rush of Habitat 7, got to the Nexus and got the Tempest but haven't explored it or taken it out for a test run yet. Habitat 7 was a rush cause I chose Leadership training (I think) and that gave me Annihilation and two biotic powers that I had no idea what they were from their symbols but one may have been "Pull" and one that shot two biotic orbs at enemies that did damage. Also playing on hard core and using crappy weapons made it more of a challenge but I decided on a tactic of run and gun to the point I was getting ahead of Alec So on the Nexus did the rounds of the Lack of Leadership team and spoke to Nilken's wife and Nilken. Next to EOS via whatever the other system/s are. Some pic's: I really like the start of the game. Sara number 4: I think I need to either change her eyes to brown or tone down the blue, it's a bit full on. Captain Dunn Alec

She definitely looks like Dunn's child. 👊🏻 That's what those descriptions are for: they name and explain the powers! 😆 You sound biotically challenged, but I'm pleased that you're branching out into new stuff! I think that build might be in one of the MP kits. It sounds like Pull/Annihilation/Throw, though that could be Shockwave instead of Throw. The Leader training grants Energy Drain, and unlocks Annihilation and Team Support. Those are three of the four legs of an invincible Vanguard (Charge/Annihilation/Energy Drain) + Team Support (Life Support). I decided that may next project weapon might be to add burst-fire to an Inferno. I'll need to see numbers to begin assessing. I don't use SRs often in MEA; mostly just for momentary diversion.

It just seemed to float people in the air. AND yes I am biotically challenged, it just doesn't feel right to me, I rarely play wizards for the same reason but it was fun yesterday so I am going to see how it goes

If you prime them with Annihilation or Pull and then hit Throw, it will do a hell of a lot more than make them float! You play these "casters" just as aggressively as weapons builds, you just Combo more and shoot less. Try to get into a rhythm of priming and detonating. You can read the power evolutions to get an idea of how each works. I recommend going for "Combo Damage" evolutions in nearly every case. You don't need recharge speed improvements since you have the FMoA. They're a wasted choice. I like Pull/Singularity/Throw together, since someone is always in the air getting detonated. Pull can be evolved to Drain shields, and Singularity primes everything within its radius, floating or not.

Haha! "I don't do it for the money. I play for the love of the game." Annihilation is an awesome power; one of my favorites. It's a close-quarters skill, though, whereas Pull and Throw are great at range. That build can work, but it's definitely an aggressive, CQC build. It might be tricky as a first time biotic who's used to playing at a distance. If you struggle, try swapping Annihilation for a ranged power. I think if you stick with the combo builds, you'll start loving them. Combos are my favorite part of ME. They needed a damage buff in MEA, but are still awesome. If support had lasted, I'm sure they'd have been buffed. I just arrived at the Nexus. I agree that the beginning is really cool. I'd have left out the cheesy scanner intro outside the cryobay. They could've introduced the scanner at the Liam/Ryder crashsite with far less cheese. I'd also allow more than one skill point at Level-1, and NG+ shouldn't begin with the same shit Predator and Avenger. None of that takes away from the awesomeness of the intro, though. Cool intro aboard Hyperion. Great speech from Alec in the shuttle bay. Cool landing, cool planet. The Nexus drags a bit, I think, but Eos is great. I can't wait to get there and get down to business.

LOL don't we all!!!! So yeah I figured Annihilation out and discarded it almost immediately , it wasn't annihilation I was using initially it was like a bronze coloured lightning bolt that zapped enemies. I swapped it for concussive shot and changed Pull for singularity and am using Lance but it seems a bit doughy (if that's Oz slang it means a bit meh)!!! Concussive shot is great at detonating singularity. I might swap lance out for Pull cause that was fun to use. Running as a sentinel atm. Yeah I thought the same thing re the scan at the start it's just OMG really!!!!

Yeah I thought the same thing re the scan at the start it's just OMG really!!!! Lance is really powerful, but doesn't autotarget/target-assist like most powers. It has to be precisely aimed and has weak-poi t damage like a weapon. It's good, but specialized. It's a great detonator in combination with Annihilation. Lance can be evolved to use Barrier instead of a cooldown, meaning you can rapidly throw several of them. Since Annihilation primes and can replenish barriers, it's a good combo. I sometimes use Sentinel (Lance/Annihilation/Energy Drain) as a non-Vanguard CQC build. Lots of explosions and things dying very quickly. It's still far less effective than the closing speed of Charge and the crazy perks of Vanguard. The Vanguard (Charge/Annihilation/Energy Drain) + Life Support + Autofire Hesh is so powerful that everything else feels impotent in comparison. I just established Prodromos waaaaay past my bedtime. I'll pay for this tomorrow. I will tweak the colors on my armor, but otherwise like the loadout. I noticed that my particle beam appears a bit fuchsia, like an Observer's beam. I thought it was bluish-white in the past. I'll have to keep an eye on it. It's a minor curiosity. I definitely wish I could make the Heleus visor clear or grey, but I'm tolerating the purple so far. It seems inevitable that I eventually go back to Pathfinder armor. I'll at least see if it looks good in a new color scheme when I do.

Sara got a serious makeover today.
When we first arrived at the Nexus, seeing her side by side with Addison was annoying. She was a younger, prettier, better groomed Addison. Ugh. I immediately gave her the long ponytail. I didn’t like the hair color from the beginning, though. Adding more hair only exacerbated it. The #0 texture is nice, but the eyebrow color is limiting. I finally switched to texture #1, made the hair dark brown, and updated the makeup for the new face. She looks great, but like a completely different person. Screenshots will be funny to review.
I also tweaked some shades and hues on the armor. I still like its look, with grey+white+blue. I think it’s Grey/White/Blue/White Pattern #2. The grey is just dark enough to disguise the pearly/oily shader.

Lance really didn't to seem to have much impact but I'll take your word for it, I wasn't worried about it not auto targeting it just seemed a bit weak and not very "flashy" I sometimes use Sentinel (Lance/Annihilation/Energy Drain) as a non-Vanguard CQC build. I just wanted to try something different, like the idea of the tech armour and the boost to powers. I liked Vanguard in MET but I am not a "Charge" sort of player, I am more find the best immediate cover then find the best spot on the battlefield and keep as many at mid range as possible. It's why I never use shot guns. Have been playing with my armour colours, I nearly always wear dark grey and red but I am running white and blue on Sara with the Heleus armour. It looks OK but I need to ditch the stupid Heleus helmet, (even with the mod to darken its visor) and maybe introduce some more dark grey. I experimented with a dark purple but it just didn't appeal.

I am happy with the hair style I chose for Sara this time round, I haven't used it before but it suits her face shape and as I said before I planned her as Alec/Cpt Dunn's love child. I have made so many Sara's where I have had to change the hair it isn't funny and it nearly always ended up going back to the pony tail. I tried the camo looking pattern but I couldn't get it light enough to still see rather than being too dark and standing out too much. Blue and white looks wuite good with the Heleus armor and its lights, although mines lights are modded blue.

So yesterday in Andromeda Sara put the Tempest through its paces and was pleased with her new ship. Talked to all the crew twice and Sara hit on Liam straight up but she's just interested in a casual fling at this stage. Then the Tempest explored the Pfeiffer and the Eriksson systems and then went to EOS for the first time. Explored some buildings, scanned stuff, put the power on after convincing Clancy the scavenger and then explored some more buildings. Made a weapon, collected some site 2 project codes and pieces, identified some dead bodies and started the three monoliths. Met Drack and PeeBee, next the vault. Some pic's: EOS - free x-rays for everyone!!!! Rocking the blue and white (which just happens to be the football team I supports color's ) Apparently this is a traditional Asari greeting ritual !!!!! Hi cranky old man:

I enjoy Eos quite a bit. The stuff many complain about seems to entertain me pretty well. It’s a pretty world (yeah, I like deserts) with lots of quests, Remnant stuff and varied combat. Today we met the Angara, recruited Jaal, and promptly returned to Eos, bringing it to 100%. I saved on the Nexus after losing to my buddy Gil in poker. Tomorrow, Havarl. The grey Heleus armor with its built-in light show ought to look cool in the dimly lit jungles and caverns.
The Hornet-FABE is still fun. I’m not sure if the playstyle will hold my attention through the rest of the game, but it’s been cool so far. Watching an Architect get melted in seconds by an SMG was pretty entertaining. It was expected, but nonetheless entertaining. I wonder what they might’ve done to rein in the autofire augmentation had support lasted? It’s definitely OP and renders obsolete those weapons that are autofire by default. Oh, well. Very sleepy here. Time to log off before I start rambling.

Just broke up a protest in Hydroponics. This encounter annoys me aesthetically. The concept is cool, but it’s executed ridiculously. How the hell did Reese make the cut? He’s the human with the orange hair, blue facial tattoo and matching clothes. Whoever designed the more ridiculous looking characters should be barred from character design/finishing in the future. They don’t help with immersion.
Off to Havarl, maybe the prettiest planet we visit.
EDIT: Predictably, the Heleus looks like it was made as a love letter to Havarl. The colors of the cycling lights are an exact match for Havarl’s native colors.
I decided to see if I’d like the Heleus armor better minus the strange neck hoop. This meant dropping from Tier 10 to Tuer 4 in gear. The game is so easy, and my builds so optimized, that it made no difference. To my surprise, I actually like it better with the hoop. The neck area is already incredibly inconveniently structured. No human could properly look upward with that high collar in the back. The armor seems designed to echo the Angara’s anatomy. It just doesn’t work as a solid shape on human armor. Covering it with the hoop makes it less obvious. Plus, the hoop and chest assembly adds cool lighting and color variation to the armor.
Presently talking to those crazy Sages, seeing whether Liam is going to have to eat his helmet. 😆 I may have wanted to punch him a few times, but he’s hilarious. He’s become one of my favorite characters, much to my surprise. He’s overzealous and wreckless, but funny, loyal and very considerate of others.

Yeah I always like the feel to, when you first land on EOS, you really do feel like an alien even though the landscape looks familiar. Yeah EOS is good for combat, Remnant Bots, Kett, animals its a nice mix up and the scenarios are different enough in most encounters to make it not too repetitive. So you are using The Hornet with auto-fire and Beam Emitter, what's the "F" or is that just Full Auto-fire?

Reese is not alone, however I think Kadar has some of the ugliest and weirdest designed character in all the game. I agree with your punishment The Heleus armour is my favourite for my Sara Ryder's as it looks better on than the Pathfinder armour which I usually always have Scott wear.

So you are using The Hornet with auto-fire and Beam Emitter, what's the "F" or is that just Full Auto-fire? I have designations for everything I build/use. I can look at something and know which augmentations are built into it at a glance. "FA" is full-auto as you assumed. I think it looks better than "AF" or "Af", and I use hyphens to sepsrate up the item name and designations. That means Hornet-A-F-BE would be a no-go. (It looks terrible.) Reese is not alone, however I think Kadar has some of the ugliest and weirdest designed character in all the game. I agree with your punishment The Heleus armour is my favourite for my Sara Ryder's as it looks better on than the Pathfinder armour which I usually always have Scott wear. I like Heleus on Sara. I think it's too tight on Scott. I don't like that the suit and hardware are on the same color slider. It's limiting, and it goes against the default scheme that has a purple suit with white hardware. It's still possible to make it look good, but it would've been easier with a different color-split. I still think Pathfinder is the best looking of all, but I'm going for variety. I wish Scott's Pathfinder didn't clip so obviously. I use white Pathfinder armor with white and blue underarmor, black pattern. The clipping piece is very obvious when the chest piece is white. One more thing that should've been caught before release or fixed after.

So yesterday in MEA Sara first headed to the vault on EOS. Well wasn't that a surprise, after 12 previous PT's I discovered yesterday that I had every time before missed a room that either Sara or PeeBee refers to as a library as it has lots of data panels to scan and a chest that needs decrypting. I am not even sure how I discovered it this time but I remember looking ahead and thinking hey there's a terminal up there and after some backtracking I found my way too it. The worst part is I am now not sure if there is also another room as I thought I could see another terminal. I found a way to raise some more pillars but the jump was too far and I couldn't face backtracking again and figuring it out!!!!! Will find a walkthrough whenI have time later to see what I missed but I am so annoyed/disappointed with myself Anyway after getting the vault done, established a science outpost and then did a quick round of the people in charge at EOS and then back to The Nexus. Ran around doing all those busy little tasks and next off to Aya. Some pic's Mmmm PeeBee escaping the vault sans body: PeeBee checking out Sara's butt: Sara giving Drack a bit of a sarcastic smack down: Sara love's Issy's Space Whae story:

D: I was just admiring Kadara fashion a few days ago! Don't mind Reese's freaky look, but I do want to toss the whole group out of the airlock.
Did play Ollie this morning and petted the Destroyer on Havarl with her, using Falcon (punch!) and a bit of Mattock. Surprisingly easy time with him, prioritized on his posse while Liam and Peebs kept him distracted. Peebs then lasted while taking two turrets down, Liam only for one. Destroyer also got stripped off his shields and the armor was easy to crack. Wrapped up the rest of the Vault and delivered some gloves to him there angara man. Then had to be off.
Then a teeny tiny bit of Silvia tonight as she fixed the Eos vault. Mostly to check how good her lipstick looked while sober. A bit too thick, but not the worst. Could also be that the lighting was bad, since it looked nice during the pretty map bit. Then back to weird in the sun light. Either way, she's a few steps closer to Drack and at the moment I feel like her and him and Liam will be the go to team.

That one only annoys me because it's the same people protesting no matter which outpost option you pick! They are just complaining to complain. Like the "angry woman" on the ship - now I just ignore her because neither reply option does anything useful. I want to tell her to stop whining and get out there and help instead of just bitching about other people actually doing stuff.
