Please get decent gear before you go to Silver...

Hmm... better safe than sorry, I think. Probably won't take that long to get commons maxed. getting Predator 5 out of a 20K pack would send me into a rage....

Whoever said that using basic weapons is bad either has very good RNG or uses real money to buy packs. If you're a player with crap RNG like me, AvengerX is more than enough for Silver. Yes I did max out buying basic packs first to ensure I won't get basic gear and characters from the latter packs.

Is AvengerX the best gun? Of course not but when you're poor and have bad RNG you make do.

How do you make do? Setup tech burst and biosplosions on your own by playing Engineers, Adepts, Sentinels and sometimes elemental ammunition
OR
run basic soldier with defaullt 1 point concussive shot and max grenade damage-anti-armor.

You will and can survive in Silver.

Lastly, my weapon collection isn't stellar - but at least I have Silver of farm and yes, till date Ii still run AvengerX because it is the best weapon I currently have. Score? top 2 consistently unless another player is running Ultra Rares or Rare Xs

Well i managed to max out all common characters and weapons to level X.

Working on advanced and expert packs now, almost maxing out uncommon characters, weapon mods and weapons (level V to level VIII at the moment).

Spending a lot of time in Single Player though, hence why the grind is slow, BUT i am in no rush. I am enjoying the single player a lot and taking my time in MP since i know we will get DLCs for both SP and MP.
