Trying to figure out why I can't host. Obviously some people can, since I can join a lobby in seconds.
I tried to see if starting the game alone would have people join the game, but no luck.
I did make it to the objective wave a couple times before getting killed though.
Do they have a technical support board somewhere?

I'm having trouble with this while playing with a friend. I create a lobby, invite him, and then we just sit there and wait for someone to join but they never do. If we start the mission, players join by the end on the first wave usually.

That was happening to me. Try to make the lobby private for a few seconds and then male it public again. Itll refresh the searching and it works every time for me

Try starting a match with an additional player. In ME3 I could end up soloing when starting all alone. If there was another guy it seemed to attract more players for GiP joining.

The thread title reminds me of the time I tried to host an orgy party. Got all the food, nice wines, and oils......but no one showed up. I ended up playing by myself.
On topic, I've always had that difficulty in ME3 when starting a lobby and no one joins. I only host when I can't find a game or I keep landing in preset lobbies but other than that I quick search.

I can't host either. This wasn't a problem during trial, where I hosted several matches with people joining swiftly. Checked firewall, Andromeda is not blocked. Strange.

Usually always works for me. After i do it, it either fills the lobby immediately or it may take a minute or 2 but it fills. Could be the internet your using or on biowares end |

it depends on the time zone,
sometimes i creat a match and nobody joins, but in different time, players join fast, it depends on how many players can reach you

This. I've literally waited 20 minutes in-lobby and no one joined. In fact, I usually have to solo at least 2 or 3 gold waves before people start joining. Great job bioware, seriously, great job.

Spent minutes in lobby between rounds and played for about an hour, no one ever joined. Weird since quick play was pretty much instant when I tried it. Searched reddit while we were playing and going by the results it is a pretty common issue, especially for two players, saw quite a few say that if you're alone in a lobby or have two friends in it the remaining slots fill faster, not tried those combinations though. Just posted a question over at answers.ea.com Got a link? Would like to keep an eye on it and maybe add to it. |

You can host, just start the game by yourself and shoot all the things until back up arrives. |
