'I like or love the game' (General feedback)

Hai Guyz,

I am new to the forum. I was worried about ME:A because it is the first Bioware game without David Gaider in the credits. However, so far I think it is a pretty decent game. The whole pathfinder thing is a tad cliche, and I hate how I have to empty half a round into a Kett in order to kill it. I did however laugh at the pyjack that can't be fed after 2359(Gremlins reference for those born after 1990).

Was David Gaider ever in Mass Effect credits?

I don't have the game yet. if I did I'm sure I'd find something about it I liked, even if there are things I don't.

I'm not ignorant. I was born in 98 and I know about the Gremlins. But seriously, it is a good game despite the flaws. although, CC needs to be fixed.

It's flawed, but I'm still having fun. Something I don't always have with critically acclaimed and highly rated games. I will say that I see some of the complaints as fully justified, it would be nice if some of the better aspects were acknowledged though.

I'm having fun with it, warts and all - and expect I'll be doing my usual multiple playthrough thing with it.

My issues thus far are the CC, lack of companion customization, and lack of power wheel, one of which will hopefully be patched later on and the later is a very deliberate stylistic and gameplay choice. There's no denying; MEA is a very different feeling game than the Trilogy, kind of like a show or movie spin-off. Is that a good or a bad thing? It'll depend on the person, but I personally am having a halova lot of fun with it. It's not the best thing Bioware's ever done (I usually see KotOR and ME2 tied for that position), but it is nowhere near the worst, or the "garbage fire" some commenters are claiming it to be.

22 hours in and i love it, a tad overwhelmed and having an OCD meltdown by all the quests, but I love it, also I made a widow that fires sticky grenades.

Its a fun game. It will give me many hours of entertainment playing both SP and MP. Not perfect but definately worth the cost.

It's a nice little space game.
Haven't fought any of the really bad bosses yet,so the combat has been o.k.
Ony draw backs to me are: No save priority missions . CC is garbage . Animation .

It's going to have to mess up big time ( ME3 ending ) for this to not be my favorite Bioware game. 16hrs and absolutely loving it.

I like it, it's much less focused and narrow than the trilogy, so it takes some getting used to. Also, the stakes seem much lower so you're kind of more a wanderer/explorer here so it feels a lot different. Also, not being able to pause combat to issue orders is a huge change. I much preferred the combat of the previous games and find myself dying much more this time around since everything is real time.

It's engaging enough to keep me interested and a tad bit excited. Yeah, so much to do it's overwhelming, in comparison to the other games.
