Hey guys (and girls),

I have just finished tracking down this Doctor Kennedy woman and I want to damned stick her in prison (stealing, especially in a desperate situation for everybody and getting pregnant despite being told not to and being on meds that prevent this in the first place (sorry, but would you want that woman to be a mother? I wouldn't, so selfish "I want a baby NOW" - despite the fact that Addison and the other in initiative leadership being right for once! If you have to go to half rations etc. because you fucking have no food then becoming pregnant is CRIMINAL and NEGLIGENT! (as long as it's not accident, which it wasn't they were given birth-control-implants/shots etc. so that this would NOT happen, Kennedy took (stole!) meds and resources (food, shuttles, satelites etc.) in order to make her dream come true and she endangered others in the process (because of the supplies she stole, but also because she encouraged others to follow her lead (!)) and she doesn't give a fuck, she's not appologetic in the slightest! She thinks she did a great thing!...damned, the child should be fucking taken from her, such a person does not deserve it, she deserves a fucking CELL and public humiliation/disgrace! If others learn of this they should hold her in contempt, not praise her!)...sadly the A.I. doesn't seem to have child services (who would IMHO step in here and take the child!) and the game supports her, too

Sorry, but WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS? It reminds me of guys saying teenage pregnancy is ok (and sadly it's more ok than this, at least teenagers don't endanger anybody but themselves (and the child if they aren't ready to handle this of course)...this woman's narcissism is fucking bad and needs to be stamped out IMHO (for someone praised for intelligence (ok: By Addison, which makes me doubt that claim) she is damned fucking stupid and irresponsible!)...dare I say it? SJW-Propaganda or Feminist Propaganda?

Then again: This is like in RL - mothers or pregnant ladies avoid justice all the time

("You can't lock up a child's mom!" - Why? We should not want criminals to be parents (and it's not like dads get the same fucking bonus, do they?), they after all are role models for their fucking children, thus the likelihood of those children becoming criminals themselves increases, which is not goood!)

ARGH! Makes me want to SCREAM!

ps: Those meds are the first reasonable precaution I've seen the A.I. take in this game that I fully agree with (otherwise they are/were fucking ill prepared and had no backup plans etc.) and then they throw it out like that "because of the children" (despite the fact that in crisis situations children suffer the fucking most...would you want Kett to experiment on them? Would you want them to die of starvation or neglect because people are busy saving themselves? I sure as hell would not and I don't even like children that much (don't hate them, but I am not one of those who thinks babies overly cute etc.))....and there I want to SCREAM again

That said, they could allways ask for volunteers to take the kid, but it gets complicated realy quickly

That doesn't mean you don't do it - doing what's right and what's easy are in most cases mutually exclusive things...I bet I could find somebody to take care of that child (hell: I might give it to an Angara family on Aya (that planet is a save haven after all and it's a paradise more or less))...as for prison? I'd put her to work, but without any pay (she gets food and shelter, that's it and she gets a tracker implanted (one with a damned bomb, so no tampering with it!))

Extreme? Maybe, but IMHO also the right thing to do

There's actually a lot of places in this game where you are rendered arbitrarily powerless for no particular reason. Like I can apparently bust guys out of Sloan Kelly's prison, can steal her drug formula, can murder copious numbers of her guards with no hitch, and can trash talk her to her face, but I can't stop 2 of her goons from beating a guy in the street because I might get thrown out of the port?

Honestly, this feels like Morinth all over again, instead of giving us choice they just do le good thing, and if they wanted to save the kid to make him your enemy in Andromeda 2, you could have found a way to make him escape, and no locking yourself in a room isnt escape when one can burn the place down.

How many characters get away just to setup reoccurring rivals? It got to the point I expected to not be able to kill the boss in quests.

It's like those asshats in the Hydroponics section of the Nexus who want their relatives released. Yes, it's an awful idea but if we go beating them up then we're going to end up a dictatorship.

You've got to be flexible about these things.

Tann wasn't wrong that the situation was FUBAR.

But by coming down hard on the people who didn't toe the line, he made the situation worse and caused a massive part of the Nexus' people to leave, creating more problems.

So, finding new solutions than believing you can control human nature is the better solution.

Just because this turian didn't have the legal force behind him doesn't make him particularly worse than any Spectre ever.

dontcha know to the entitlement generation "free shit" just spontaneously generates and it's evil people who keep them from getting it?

I can only assume the people defending having babies when you want have likely never had real jobs (though they will claim otherwise).

Also to the same people they have no understanding that rights aren't universal, just ask anyone in the military. Though technically a civilian initiative the AI is basically military action by default, it must have strict requirements. You can't just make decisions based on good feels and virtue signaling and expecting everyone else to pay your way.

The world is a cold hard place, and once people get out of their safe spaces and learn that the better.

This old political semi-joke fits this situation.
