A horror tv show that I really liked (that may seem cheesy these days) was Kolchak the Night Stalker. Sci fi tv shows..... lost in space, the time tunnel, voyage to the bottom of the sea

2016 is just a wrong, wrong year. Speaking of old horror or scifi, when I was little I watched a movie that really creeped me out. It left an impression for years. Somewhere in my 30s, I think, a guy in the office was talking about old scifi, and I described what I remembered of the movie. He said, "Oh that's Five Million Years to Earth" and he loaned me a copy on videotape. In the UK it was called Quatermass and the Pit. Watching the UK and US trailers now it looks laughable, but when I was small it was just creepy and weird. I remember a time when one of the early movie channels had a big Hammer Horror weekend, and I just sat there for hours. One of my favorites Wintery! Love the old Hammer films too! I could sit and watch them for hours!

Speaking of Hammer films..
Local tv station had this program back in the 80's.
It aired after Saturday Night Live (of course) and I fell asleep one night with my face right up against the tv screen. Woke up to this and screamed hahaha! Well can't find the exact scene but it was this film!

Does anyone from the states recognize this show or was it just shown in Canada? Totally corny but I liked it.

I've memories of some other SF shows but I cannot remember the titles. One was about a police officer (I think) investigating a series of disappearances; most of them sportsmen. I recalled a man all in black with a woman who carried a briefcase. They would visit sports centers, gyms and find ways to speak to their victim alone. The woman would direct the victim towards the dark suit man who would then open his coat and somehow engulfed the victim. The victim vanished, all that was left was his clothes which the woman then picked up. Towards the end, the officer caught up to the couple and confiscated the briefcase. He was shocked to find the miniaturized victims, all still alive, gagged. The camera panned to their chests and I had no idea what it meant; were they being kidnapped for organ harvesting or something? The second was about a crew on a ship who discovered a strange planet that seemed frozen in time. There were no people, nothing was moving. They found a complex full of columns. Later, they came across a console which they then tried to operate. They accidentally opened one of the columns, revealing where the inhabitants had gone or some of them. They were either hibernating or frozen in time, I think the former because the being (with a big brain btw) spoke to the captain. I forgot what he wanted, I think it's something bad since there was some heated discussions. The captain decided they had to restart time or something on the planet. I am not sure of the exact name, but those sound like either The Twilight Zone, or Outer Limits programs.

I am not sure of the exact name, but those sound like either The Twilight Zone, or Outer Limits programs. Maybe the first but the second was definitely a movie because it ran for more than an hour. The ending was the captain succeeded. I recalled the image of a clock ticking again and the entire crew, somehow, was back in their ship, continuing their journey.

These are some of the eastern populars back in the 60s and 70s.
SB was the company that churned out the popular kungfu, drama movies of the 60s and 70s.
This is Huang Mei Tiao or Huang Mei Opera; folksong and dance, often seen in Wayang and movies of the 60s and early 70s. This was a big hit in the east in '62. It had been remade in modern times but they failed to capture the atmosphere and magic of the story. The two main roles were played by actresses, one taking up the male role.
Come Drink With Me
One Arm Swordsman
Man In the Net. A Hong Kong tv series with a very young Chow Yun Fatt.
Heavenly Sword and Dragon Sabre. Can't find the original intro, found some modern fan mix of novels, art and the soundtrack.
Dynasty. Imperial intrigue and all the fighting for the throne.
Modern kungfu stuff are just too fanciful (extremely silly at times) nowadays. Gone are the days where one can hear the folksongs in the movies. Now it's all artsy fartsy hot air.

She also didn't like the Buckshot show....if you know that one, it was a Calgary based kids show, she didn't mind the Friendly Giant though, or Zoom and the Electric Company was ok. (she liked Rita Moreno & Morgan Freeman.)

Sorry I'm a little late, and internet problems, I look like a troll...It follows what Obsidian Gryphon said... Now I'm eager to see them, there's one that comes to my mind : The seven samouraï images.moviepostershop.com/seven-samurai-movie-poster-1954-1010727866.jpgBut it's not the same style, and I like the ones you showed us. I like Stephen Chow's movies more recents, you certainly heard about them Shaolin Soccer & Crazy Kung-fu That makes me think of an old Jon Woo movie, that was so funny, but I'm not able to remember the name. Old age...
