I play it a few times per year (at least 3). Always end up right after Citadel DLC which I'm doing right before going to that last mission. I've see my ending twice and I'm not really interested in doing it again. My Shep always lives anyway, I don't need to crush my heart all the time with cutscenes and music to see her taking that breath. I can't play those games anymore. ME2 hurts my brain, and ME3 just p*sses me off. I hate ME2 but love ME3 the most

The ending as a whole. It's bittersweet dur to the past, when we didn't have it. And it doesn't really feel... rewarding. Even with Shep alive. If you picked destroying the Reapers, why wasn't it rewarding to you? For me, the enemy is defeated and no longer harvesting species because they were destroyed. I'd be jumping for joy. I don't know, it just doesn't feel rewarding. I wanted more, I wanted to see our hero happy. This breath in the last second is not enough.

Holy saint fuck, here we are with the endings again and even Iakus (atm) isn't part of it. This fanbase is really now dying quicker than EA's Battlefront 2, the fuck.

I want a remaster so badly for a simple reason: controller support. I still have my Xbox but would much rather play on PC with enhanced textures. But I'm too dumb for mouse and keyboard after decades of console gaming. Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny.

^I absolutely hate PC performance on a controller, it's not the same as it is on the console so even though I own MET on PC, I play it on Xbox and wish to have it on Switch (so I could play it at work during 12h long night shifts ). Bring it, EA, bring it to Switch! The entire thing, with all DLCs included don't make the Wii U mistake again!

How it isn't the same? I've played ME2 once with a controller and it felt as it would feel on console? I tried many times and it always looked like it lacked some of the console support like helping with aim for example and if I'm not mistaken, there were no mods for ME1 at all for quite some time. It's just not the same. So I turned out to play the whole MET on PC with a keyboard and oh my poor fingers (I've injured my left wrist pretty badly a few years ago and using all those keys for so long is like asking for pain)... although it wasn't nearly as bad as trying and failing to play The Witcher 1 (one of two games I've never end).

How is it that a controller doesn't hurt your wrist, anyway? It's easier to hold the controller and use a few keys with an easy reach insted of multiple keys on a keyboard and a mouse Especially with games that use 1-9 + wsad + reqz + ctrl + alt + shift or anything similar to that I remember games that needed only a few keys and no mouse, what an easy days those were...

I used to struggle with reaching keys (I have freakishly tiny hands), but then I got an MMO mouse and it makes everything so much easier. The thumb pad on mine (Logitech G600) seems like it has too many buttons (12) but it actually works really nicely, and after the first few hours of using it you get used to it and can feel your way around the pad easily. You might wanna try one out.

I've been playing on PC for 20 years (heck, I even had a ZX Spectrum and Commodore C64) and switched to consoles ~3 years ago and... Well, it's so much easier for me on so many levels. If you'd ask me 5 years ago if I'd ever buy a console I'd say no. But almost 3 years ago I did, out of frustration with The Witcher 3 which my PC can't run good enough, and I don't regret it. Controller is not the only thing that is more comfortable for me. I simply don't have to ask myself if the game I want will work on my PC anymore. I don't need to upgrade PC's components anymore either. I just buy the game and play it. And if I'll need an upgrade, I'll buy a new console for at least 3x less than a new gaming PC/~2x less than a few new components. I'm not crazy about graphics, I only want to enjoy the game.

Lets not get into another one of these debates. We can agree or disagree in a calm cool manner can't we? I was posting the links for Kappa Neko who seemed to not know that those mods to get console on PC version of the MET do at least exist. So please all...

I don't know, it just doesn't feel rewarding. I wanted more, I wanted to see our hero happy. This breath in the last second is not enough. That's fair. So fair. I may be going overboard, but I wanted Shepard to get dug out and then happily *cry* as he/she gets reunited with his/her squad and LI. I want to hear how the galaxy f*cking pampers him/her like a GOD as an apology for the hell they put him/her through just before the Reapers invaded, and during the Reaper invasion. Hell, I want a massive golden ass statue of Shepard in every capital of every damn homeworld for the galactic babysitting he did for EVERBODY. I just feel so violated that Shepard put his personal health, happiness and time aside for a galaxy that didn't appreciate him. He deserved so much more than a breath. Haha...i agree....even tho i respect Bioware for going with a non-traditional ending, (because i think everybody was expecting the ending you just described) i too would have wanted the more traditional ending since it would have felt more organic than the endings we received, which really wasn't bad...they tried to put a different spin on the entire scenario.....because in all honestly with all of the moving parts with Leviathan and the Citadel, the Protheans, indoctrination and with how powerful the Reapers was themselves (nearly god status).....a simple solution of defeating them wasn't going to really cut it. I think Bioware was on the right track with their obscure endings, but they probably needed more time to fine tune and polish it some more for it to be more refined, compelling and satisfying.

Some of you need to watch GoT to get past the idea of needing a cheesy and colorful ending in order for a conclusion to be good at all lmao.

I'm pretty sure Asian movies endings are way worse from GoT where everyone dies so you don't attach yourself to those characters. It's not rewarding to get a copy-paste endings with tiny little differences based on the numbers of power you were able to collect or not.

Agree 100%. I haven't played on a PC in many years for the upgrade game alone. With my XBOX, insert disk or download and play ... period! And yes, I to remember the C64, the 286, 386, 486 ,etc. If I had the money I wasted on upgrading PC's to play games today, I could be retired.

If you were spending that much then you were doing it wrong.
The only way to spend a ton of money on PC upgrades is to keep yourself at the bleeding edge or constantly throw money into small improvements in the midrange. But if small increments in performance are that important to someone, he wouldn't be happy with consoles anyway.

I suppose it is like all other tech obsessions, it is a sickness to have the best while convincing yourself that it is actually better and worth the money. Like having the newest IPhone, or IPad .... Yes it was stupid and it was never worth it. I got boxes of video cards, RAM chips and old HHD's though ... lol At lease with XBOX, you typically get 4-years before temptation comes again .... damn that X would look good on a new 70" 4K! lol I got my first XBOX at launch with Halo for Christmas and it has been XBOX ever since. Now I see medical science is about to bestow gaming with the mental illness tag ... man now I need pills with my XBOX ... hahaha
