Here's a copy n paste from the other EGM forum on BSN. I have a problem and I think it is EGM that is not giving me Citadel Shore Leave message from Hackett. I looked into EGM settings txt in binaries folder like it said and change the start of Citadel DLC: Shore Leave to Post Horizon which is "4". But for some reason it still won't give me that message despite the fact that I have finished the Horizon mission. I dunno why its not working. I really want to play the Citadel DLC. The DLC is installed of course. I haven't played the Main Priority Cerberus base mission yet. I dunno whats going on or whats wrong. Here are the mods I have installed EGM + Addons Me3recalibrated BackOff CEM JAM ThaneMOD ("complete" friend version) Better Cabin Music Better Dreams Hair DLCs (actually they are not working tbh. I still dunno what I did wrong.) Miranda - Horizon Armor Grunt - Aralakh Commander Interface Scaling Mod Interface Scaling Addon Individual Cooldowns Mod Bonus Power Pack 1 Heleuss' Hair Textures ALOT Elise's Textures (Kaidan, Anderson, Jacob, Jack, James, Joker, Samara, Zaeed, Common Character overhaul, Asari, Eyes) Some of Ottemis' textures FemShep's Closet - DLC Repacks of Popular Clothing Mods (only some clothing DLCs) I know a few has helped me before but I'm still having this issue. By CEM do you mean Citadel Epilogue Mod? If so, then that's likely why, as the Citadel DLC starts at the end of the game.

I actually like the fact that Citadel DLC is at the end, it makes more sense to me tbh. And I appreciate you trying to help and make me feel better I do have some problems with this. First, you could have lost some squadmates on Earth and I doubt the party would account for it. Second, and most important, the Citadel was all but destroyed. They're rebuilding a lot after major destruction. Who has time to host a party, fight off a clone, have fun at Armax Arsenal and meet up with all your friends at random intervals? For me, Citadel DLC works best just before returning to Horizon since it seems like a final farewell before getting into the endgame. That said, the mod obviously works for a lot of people but it's not for me.

I tend to find that the Citadel DLC mission works best after Rannoch, as you've just left a fleet battle and the Normandy is returning for repairs, so that feels right. Also, if you get peace on Rannoch then you have Tali and it feels like the tide is turning so a more lighthearted adventure feels more appropriate. However, it's only appropriate to do before you get the message about Thessia burning. One of the many problems in ME3 is that the Rannoch-Peace -> Thessia feels like too big a jump, you go from a happy victory to a sudden defeat. It always felt to me like another storyline was needed there. One that doesn't end well, which then leads into Thessia where everythings gone to shit.

Yea I can understand, why both of you would not prefer Citadel DLC at the end. And your explanations make perfect sense. I like it before and after Earth. I also usually avoid the Catalyst convo as well because it just doesn't make sense at all.

It always felt to me like another storyline was needed there. One that doesn't end well, which then leads into Thessia where everythings gone to shit. Interesting. I might just do that on my current PT. I tend to do it this way: Mars -> Menae -> Prothean DLC -> Tuchanka arc -> Citadel Coup -> Omega DLC -> Rannoch arc -> Citadel DLC -> Leviathan DLC -> Rest of game (obv I missed out the side missions) I find that playing Citadel after Rannoch makes sense with all the repairs needed after being in a fleet battle, plus the Peace outcome leads to a somewhat upbeat atmosphere, where the CitDLC mission works. Then playing Leviathan gives you reasons to return to do Armax Arena and is a buffer against the sudden story shift with Thessia (plus, allying with evil egotistical supersquids isn't the happiest of outcomes, just a necessary one). Once Leviathan is over Thessia feels more fitting. At least to me it does.

Mars -> Menae -> Prothean DLC -> Tuchanka arc -> Citadel Coup -> Omega DLC -> Rannoch arc -> Citadel DLC -> Leviathan DLC -> Rest of game (obv I missed out the side missions) I actually do From Ashes a but later but it's usually because I wait for the Virmire Survivor to be back on the Normandy. I feel like they should be there - more so than Liara tbh. I've clocked a lot of hours into ME3 so I have more or less my own way through. It's just the Citadel DLC placement. Also, for example, I've started Leviathan but not completed it. It's one of those they can be done throughout the course of the game.

I had a question about the placement of the Citadel DLC. If you have the party before Horizon is Miranda still at it? I was thinking she wasn't able to be there until she freed Oriana.

I had a question about the placement of the Citadel DLC. If you have the party before Horizon is Miranda still at it? I was thinking she wasn't able to be there until she freed Oriana. I always do the mission after Rannoch and the party after Horizon, so I can have everybody there. Ah, okay. That was my major concern. I also like to have the full crew. Of course, if I were letting Miranda die then the party can take place anytime. One thing about Brooks is her timing. My Shepard's tend to hate her for trying to remove pretty much the only hope the galaxy has in order to have a pet "Shepard" to control - a Shepard who could not actually do the job. That ranks among the most selfish thing I've seen in the entire series and why I'm prone to shooting her.

I have an issue. I purchase all of the romantic stuff from Sirta supplies earlier in the game. But for some reason when I go to the cabin, it doesn't let me invite her upstairs. I didn't even get a picture that i was suppose to from EDI.
