Improvements to male romance options for Scott Ryder... How?

Most likely they will improve the dance for Reyes and the sex scene for Gill and other minor things.

And when the first story-DLC comes there probably will be a DLC-bound NPC (similar to Mark of the Assasin´s Tallis)who acts as a companion during the DLC and can be romanced only to depart after the DLC and return for the final scene (if they return at all).

Changes to existing NPCs or adding new squad-members to the whole game are pretty unlikely, even I personally would prefer that.

Honestly I'm praying that they restore Scott/Jaal. m/m romance options are so shit right now. Choose between the annoying pirate and a guy who is constantly talking about how babies need to be made thx bioware

Reyes is intersting guy in my opinion too. I hope they will do right for both Scott & Sara this time.


Ryder should have chance to invite him to Tempest at least for Movie Night.

It would be super neat if that scene could be turned into an actual cinematic though, just like your companions!

Don't know, if it was just "Improvements to male romance" I'd say more stuff for Gil/Reyes to do but the word options has me curious. Even a little hopeful.

I'm of mixed opinion about the possibility of Jaal being made bi.
On one hand he's really handsome but on the other hand, in the final game he WAS written to be straight as a board. There's no denying this.

I'd rather have someone else, someone new to romance. Let me talk about some ideas:

KALLO JATH...*ahem* he'd be a very nice option.
He's so cute and bubbly and kind, not at all what people expect from a Salarian.
And yet aside from talking about the ship/engineering team, arguing with Gil, and gossiping about the others, he (so far for me) keeps to himself.

Tiran would also be a nice option, or Evfra, or Jarun Tann (I dare you to make a gay Tannmance) or Even Avitus Rix.

Although with Avitus that would have to take some thoughtful and very careful writing so as not to make it seem like he gets over Macen's death in 1 second before dating you.

Perhaps have it so your "romance" is just bonding with him over drinks, letting him vent his frustrations about the job at Vortex (or consoling him about Macen in Khadara) and letting him know you care about him by the end as your payoff until the next game.

It would also give Scott more lines to talk about his job as new pathfinder and his Dad. Plus There are many interesting subjects you two could discuss like Saren stories, Opinions about first contact between Turians and Humans.



For me it's not about sex and getting to see nude vidya men, it's about the intimacy of the relationship, It's about the dynamic between them, It's about the writing.

You can see Jacob, and Kaiden (and Steve, And a bit of Gil I hear?) take off their clothes before banging occurs but do ya care? No! Well..I don't.

Because its all about the Garrus romance (and Thane isn't half bad either depending on how to play Femshep) which is way better despite the lack of nudity because there's more care and emotion put into it.

And so your payoff during ME2 is a simple head bump but it comes off as way more genuine than "I want you...I want all the time I can get"

I don't need the nudity and the sex, trust me I can get my nudity and sex scenes involving aliens elsewhere.

This is exactly what I expect as well.  And maybe some additional emails from both of them.  Easy to add content that beefs up what's already there.

I really hope they fix Gil's actually written character because him and the whole Jill situation disgusted me to the point I couldn't even look at Gil, because even unromanced, his character arc felt rushed and cruel, like any future of possibilities of him finding what he actually wants in Andromeda was cut short with something that felt like an ultimatum from someone who knew he was mentally unprepepared for anything. In short, his arc is just gross.

I'm hoping for a relationship with Avitus Rix. Nothing serious, the guy just lost his bae, gezz. Hoping for a close friendship like he could be an extended crew member.

I can't remember if it was in 2012 or 2013...but after all the DLC had been announced and it had been made abundantly clear that was all there was, one of the twitter accounts for either the game or the studio tweeted to expect some news concerning ME3 very soon.

Suddenly threads everywhere popped up with rampant speculation...secret DLC? is this the long rumored "date" dlc for love interests, are they going to import the MP classes into single player? could it be an expansion that will reverse the entire ending of Mass Effect and confirm once and for all that indoctrination theory is correct?

hahahah this is rich. There are two human male romances for scott yet straight scott only gets cora as a human option. And people are saying they "expect"??? Can we be more petty?

You have three fully fleshed out attention to detail female squadmates you can romance and two non-crew/squadies you can romance the hell out of. Gay Scott got a crewmate and a fling, both of which not only have less content than the main romances, but were added last minute. Reyes was already in game but his romance scene animations and after romance dialogue is clearly heavily and still coded toward Sara. Gil's content, character, appearance, story arc, and all around omnipotent presence felt poor, as if they realized they forgot about the male love interests and decided, "Well, despite teasing that everyone can nail the straight angara, we actually cut his male content. Wing it like Cortez like last time? What gay issue hasn't been used this go around so we can make it central to their romance?" I mean, for fuck sake, Gil's romance isn't even about Gil, it's about his garbage friend who guilts him into getting her pregnant. You spit on the cake they gave you and wonder why we're complaining, because they gave us your shitty crumby spit and expected us to be grateful for it.

I would love to have him as a temporary squad mate in a DLC. I don't mind him being a gay LI either.
