As heart wrenching as it would be, I came up with an idea where instead of the pathetic excuse for quest it was, finding Natanus had a longer more interesting quest that ended in Marcus sacrificing himself for Avi.

So if Avitus did show up in a major role in the sequel, I hope that his story arc isn't the rehashed, "I just don't know if I can love again......Oops, all better! Thanks Magic PC Dick!" story that they've done now with all of the other Carth Syndrome victims. I'd want his loyalty to focus on turian colonization efforts. And I'd want his romance to have just a reference or two to Macen (since it would be just as silly to forget that he existed), but focus more on the "now" than the past.

It's really a shame that Raeka has determinant status because I would LOVE to see Avitus and Raeka together as an ass-kicking Pathfinder duo in future games. Either way, there's a lot of potential with Avitus. Outside of Shep, Saren, and the Virmire Survivor, we've only had passing encounters with Spectres. It would be great to explore that experience without it being focused on Shep and humanity.

This guy is my favorite new straight Garrus.

I actually would kind of like for him to be a bi LI so we could finally get a bi man who's history focused on an important romantic relationship with a man. IMO, it would be great bi representation and break the stereotype. We've already had a dead husband gay.

Agreed, this is saying a lot too considering how 1-D he is.
