The Avitus Rix Fan Club

Avitus seems like a character who would have made a more interesting companion than a side character. I mean he's an Ex-Specter, he's in love with a dead companion, and he also has an arc about stepping up to becoming a Pathfinder.

Maybe next time.

And he knew Saren. Yeah, Bioware wasted that character and Kandros as well imo

Or for BroRyder to get with Avitus himself. Technically, we've had an m/f turian romance, a f/f turian romance, and a f/m turian romance... About time for an m/m turian romance.

As a full scale hetero, I support the BroRyder x Avitus "liaison", because I want to see how Biower would be capable of handling such romance arc...

But seeing how they lacked "writing horsepower" for some of the current romances in ME:A... I'm rather doubtful we will see that...

Still, Avitus should be rehabilitated, I want him to become an important player in AI's affairs in the DLCs/sequels.

Let's say:
- if he does not become a pathfinder, he does end up on Kadara, but eventually pulls himself together by realizing he's needed elsewhere - on he Nexus by his people.
- if he becomes a pathfinder, he does act in this role for some time, but eventually passes the role to his successor in order to get back to activities where his expertise as a ex-Spectre is useful.

In both of those timeline versions, he can join up in ME:A 2 to become a permanent companion in Ryder's team (or whoever we get to play as, if it's not Ryder).

Ryder: This must be hard for you to see.

Avitus: I'm not really a feelings kind of guy, Ryder.

JUST LET ME LOVE YOU.

I wish we could of picked him as interim ambassador!

I liked the story around him. I would also be happy if Bio for once create an involved romance with a person in an equal position with the PC, another Pathfinder. I would not mind joint missions as part of the romance, but let him stay and lead the Turian settlers as a pathfinder, rather than just another squadmate. We have plenty of underlings to romance, but I have not seen a successful romance with a superior or a peer That went through the entire game.

I wouldn't have had a bromance with Garrus if he was gay and it created sexual tension, just saying.

I think a lot of people weren't paying attention to anything Avitus said after he said "I'm a former Specter."

Because they kept thinking Commander Shepard or Garrus.

Instead, he was, "I'm the guy who murdered countless people for the Council both innocent and guilty." Avitus LEFT THE GALAXY because he hated Specter work THAT MUCH. He's also pretty traumatized by the fact his mentor went off the deep end. The whole point of Avitus is that he came to Andromeda to GET AWAY from black ops wetwork and be with his lover.

He doesn't want to be a Pathfinder because he's afraid it's just more killing.

But it's about saving lives and that's what saves him.

Point taken, would more than likely see Avitus staying as Pathfinder, but it would be pretty cool to have the opportunity to have Avitus (and more) as a squadmate as part of specific questlines.

For example, you get a distress call from some Natanus survivors and are given the option (or forced to though that could be seen as negative) to take Avitus on as a squadmate for that quest line only.
