Just wanted to stop by and join the club. I loved the way his and Macen's relationship was portrayed. Avi as the stern 'let's get things done' character and his boyfriend is just 'Ahh, you worry too much, it'll be fine.' 'Macen I'm trying to work...' 'Nah let's go for drinks Avi, it'll be fun!' I vote Avitus for romance character, he's got to be feeling lonely or down despite saying he's not a 'feelings' type of guy...I know you are Avi, I know you are..  I hadn't considered him a squad mate in future games, but he's certainly got the back story...Worked under Saren? Yep that's enough material to work with. That gets my vote too  |

Maybe in one of the Story DLCs it will turn out Macen somehow survived? This would be a great incentive for Bioware to make Avitus a squadmate to find some of the other missing turians from Natanus, including Macen. Imagine 2 pathfinders acting finally in 1 team, noice! |

He was a Spectre before joining the Andromeda Initiative, and it's implied that his experience as a Spectre was a pretty shady and violent one. But he WANTS to change if he becomes Pathfinder, and IMO that would make for some incredible character development. He straight-up says that being a Spectre was easier, but being a Pathfinder is more rewarding. I want to see him grow into that role, and help him along if I can. |

I hope Bioware just initially probed us for our reaction with the way Avitus character was depicted so far. In general, a lot of fans complain he has so little coverage in vanilla ME:A, so here is hoping we get to have a lot of his involvement in story DLCs + sequels. |

It's never explicitly mentioned Avitus and Macen were together, is it? It's so strange that Bioware went for implications and deniability with them when Scott can be gay and there is Gil.

If he's romanceable I hope we can fuck him first, then romance him... I have a lot of sexual tension because of Garrus fucking Vakarian. That's exactly what I want to do with Kandros lol Why Tiran Kandros (for FemRyder) and Avitus Rix (for MaleRyder) were not made romanceable in the vanilla ME:A is beyond me... It seemed kinda obvious to make them both romanceable. One possible explanation is the story behind Jaal's romance, namely they started to run out of time and had to scrap a lot of content and because they still had enough scrapped stuff for Jaal they decided to make him BI in a patch. Too bad, that now only an unlikely SP DLC release could make Tiran and Avitus romanceable. Also.. perhaps, if story of ME:A will continue in a sequel, they will make them both romanceable (this would traverse the romance path of Garrus - he was not romanceable in ME1 and only started to be an option in ME2). |

I hope most of the plot in the next Mass Effect ends up taking place a few years after MEA and we get a m/m Avitus romance. And that BW finally acknowledges his relationship with Macen instead of dancing around it. As much as I don't want yet another m/m Carth syndrome romance (Sky, Zevran, Anders, Steve), he'd be a really great option. And they kinda owe us for how anaemic the Turian arc plot was compared to the Asari and Salarian ones. If not, then at least Kandros. Generally we only got to romance either humans or Angara. It's time for some Turians (and Quarian and Krogan).
Edit: Also, yes, he should be gay. It's time for a badass gay companion. And I don't trust BW to not make another "only reveals he's actually bi and interested in men, if you actively flirt with him" LI.
