How would you like to see romances improved?

Actually be able to take them out on a date. Could be humorous. Could be romantic. That type of thing could be interesting.

Yep, Reyes of all people is actually the best option for a Straight Sara.  I'll need to flip a coin to decide between Suvi and PeeBee though.

Is Reyes just a one night stand type fling? My Ryder is strictly a proper relationship only person, she wouldn't have just a fling you see. I've not really delved much into the romances after the disappointment of Liam "I love my own biceps more than any woman ever will" and Jaal "My pinky purple colour and fleshy bits make me kind of resemble a scrotum"

I know it could be done in ME3 with a shepard being romanced or not but that garrus thing where you shot bottles with a sniper rifle at the citadel was awesome and things like that are great for romance. Also for people to notice it and comment on it. Like in DA2 to some level

Lexi was the only person in my playthrough to comment that I was in a relationship with Cora. It was only once and she never mentioned it again. I don't believe anybody else ever said anything either, unless I just missed dialogue somewhere.

One of my biggest gripes with romance arcs in BioWare games is that the games are getting bigger, but the romances are not. This is especially true for Mass Effect Andromeda. After 111 hours of playing the game on Insanity and finishing it, I was lucky if the romance arc with Cora was more than 20 minutes. Between all of the flirt options, the random sex scene, and the occasional emails, it felt less like a romance and more like an occasional tease.

So, how would you improve romances in BioWare games going forward?

Personally, I'd just like to see a lot more dialogue with substance that goes beyond simple flirts. I'd like to see more than one sex scene and the sex scenes shouldn't have to initiate right before the final mission. It would also be nice if we could show affection towards our love interest, such as kissing him/her whenever, similar to DAO. ME2 even had the ability to cuddle with your love interest in the captain's quarters if you chose. Little details like that go a long way towards making these romance arcs more believable and more interesting to pursue.
