You know, I'm always one to give a character a chance, but this kit really isn't working for me. It's not this terrible kit that everyone on the forum is trying to make it out to be, but it's just not as effective in what it's trying to pull off. This whole kit needs a rework. The character and the VI needs more survivability. The VI desperately needs a damage buff and it needs to be more reliable. Incinerate is ok,but for this kit, it needs to be replaced with something more fitting.

Damage wise, the Remnant VI needs the buff. 90 damage for a rank 6 evolve? Lolwut?
Seems the multiplayer abilities currently are missing the boosting abilities from singleplayer, but from what I understand that goes for everyting both weapons, abilities and kits.

I have not played SP yet, are all these abilities good in SP? Yes, it goes with the points you spend. So if you were a soldier mostly, you'd go with the Soldier profile which gives you some buffs, however each point spent in combat abilities also boosts damage with all weapons - there's even a passive tree that will boost combat combos. The same goes for bionics, and tech - each of them have trees where points spent will improve abilities from that tree. In my insanity run, I did the pure soldier (Male Ryder, mostly professional responses - aka Mr "N7" Supa Soldirz), and started spending points on weapons I didn't use, purely to spend points in the tree so that the weapons I did use got buffed. It would also help boost the rank of the Profile in play (Soldier) so that those buffs also increased. Basically, they should have likely adopted that system for multiplayer - it would pose a lore issue, since SAM is the thing that does all the Profile "magic", but it would have allowed people alot more flexibility in gameplay.

He would seem better if the human sentinel didn't exist. Barricade is awesome and incinerate is occasionally useful. At minimum, fire explosions make a pretty boom boom. This is simply a case of good old-fashioned reverse power creep.....wait a minute, uh, wut?

The ai for the drone is very derp
I don't know why they can't just make it orbit you until you send it after a target, it has to path around and super slowly maneuver around the map like the enemies do. If it was 400% faster it could get away with that, but at the rate it moves it just disappears and dies alone. Make it faster, doesn't matter if it is faster than the player, if it is slower it does matter, so make it absurdly quick and it would be alright. The same goes for it's targeting speed, make it fast enough to be reliable.
it is just too slow, at least the older combat drones, and even the turrets could be spawned on the other side of the map to get close to the enemy quickly.

Has anyone tried the beam buff instead of the rockets? It's by far the superior choice in single player: fires way more frequently, melts shields, and primes while active.

Remnent VI was probably balanced around the SP were the player can get significantly larger buffs to construct damage and power damage. I used the VI in my first paythrough spec'd engineer with the Angara armor set and the VI did damage and essentially never died. After bonuses I think it had close to or over 2000 HP and its beam and rocket did more than double damage at base so like 2-3 hundred DPS with a 10 second 200 damage rocket that detonates. Cannot say the same for the MP, I have the Architect but haven't bothered using him yet. I've seen him in a couple games and its hit or miss, guy is either holding his own or on the floor multiple times a wave.

Remember though: in principle multiplayer and singleplayer are part of the same game. But multiplayer are your minions - in single player you are the boss. If they made it so the minions equaled or outpowered the boss they would have a completely different kind of game (and would not be able to justify putting so much effort into the single player story and campaign).
