WHile I can see the points of what has been stated....personally, I really enjoyed HOrizon FOrbidden West (as much as I did Zero Dawn) and thus far (if I can remember where I am in the DLC, I like Burning Shores) but to each their own.

Yeah I think it's all opinoins there wree things I diden't like about Forbidden Wes tthe main one being ho wawkward using th epulcaster could be a ttimes bu there wer ethings I did .as I reall yloved how movi elik esom eo fth egraphics looked a ttimes especiall ylike in Burnin gShores and the Horus fight.Bu tthere was moe rgoo dtha nbad bu tfor me I didn't have as much fun with Forbidden West as I did wit hZreo Dawn. Will I play Forbidden West again 100% yes as I stil l erall yenjo yi tand I wi ll ge tHorizon 3 when i tcomes as well. It's just I prefer Zero Dawn ove r Forbidden West. I think I jus tenjoy Zero Dawn's gameplay and puzzles moer than I do Forbidden West's I do think Forbdiden West has the better graphics though.

I am most annoyed to find the seasonal quest line in Diablo IV is tied to running around in Helltide killing stuff to increase honor point levels in order to trigger the next actual quest.

Now it's true, it is done. I did Burning Shores, or how I prefer calling it: Dating in Los Angels 3041.
Also, f*** that last mission climbing.
Anyhow, time to play something else.

Hades Speared my way out and almost managed doing it without loosing a single life. Alas the final boss did shave one off me. But had two to spare so I made it. Did make it to the boss with the bow, but had the 1 chance per room perk and I needed more to pass so. Alas. Got Dusa's keepsake, pardoned the Bard (but will probably have to find him again) and made progress with Bouldy and his pal. Also unlocked the Skelly rewards but not sure if they are worth going for. Next run will be the gatling gun and hopefully it'll be fun.

I think it is indicative of my one dislike of the whole game and that everything needs to be a climbing or some other type of puzzle. The day before for me was a perfect example. Whereas in the first game you just needed to figure out where to jump on toa Tall Neck to climb it, I had to do a 3 or 4 step "what do I do next" situation."

Yeah it was much complained about early on for the PC users. It's almost like Aloy is programmed to take the wrong route or for me and a few others just get stuck even though there is a clear hand hold or even the top of a climb right there. One particular side quest was notorious for a long climb that you could not make the last grab up.

I'm not quite sure what game to move to next.
I actually finished my galactic conquest in SWTOR so my interest in playing it vanned a bit. GW2 too, because my Guardian has to basically solo a group mission to continue the story and meh (it's doable, just loonnng).
I was thinking of making a bard spellthief in Skyrim and focusing on the Thief guild (which I never finished). But the last two games I finished are DAI and FHW and I might tire fast of another open world game. That also means no Starfield, even if I'm going to reinstall it. I removed it after the big update broke my modding setup, but I liked Starfield for how relaxing pew-pewing people was in it.
Which means I could return to BG3. I had a PT near the end of Act 1, or restart...but my restart all end-up at the same place if I do so, it's like I will never leave act 1 ever again. At least I managed to finish the game once.
I'll probably have a better idea tomorrow morning.

Fallout 4So my last quest wasn't as finished as I thought it was going to be. Turns out I missed that I actually still had to kill Marvin the rogue trader. Bit of a little tough situatation as the man took up overwatch position just outside of the 'friendly' shop...with a fatman...which fired little piggy rounds. Tried sneaking up to him but the back entrance was mined...fortunatley I saved. But then I noticed that that there was a bridge which connected that building to another mid air...and well decided to try it..and by the time I got there found Marvin had been killed! . Bit anti climactic. But I did get a new explsoive fatman out of it and a grenade launcher. SOmething to keep in mind moving forward is potential usage of explsovies. Of course I don't have a lot of explosives to worry about right now. And well speaking of which got to Diamond City and well burned a good deal of caps on 10 mm rounds. Having a lot od trouble in the early game so far keeping up my ammo reserves while also getting caps which I might need to buy actual weaponry I want to buy. And though seems I am getting a lot of crafting materials as I did have to run back to Sanctuary Hills to unload a lot of my stuff. Next job is to build water towers for purified water for the village. Again it is temping to dip into the settlement system a little bit, after all its not much, but having everything you build give you XP is a bonus...especially making up for when you don't get any from your companions. But I am just not sure I have the patience or technical mind set to actually take full advantage of it, as per usual, but on the flip side I also think I remember that there is some borderline hacks to use your settlements as cap farming instruments. So I guess we will see in the end. Next bit though again one of those interesting things about this game... McDonough is a Synth. So Piper is right. But how did Piper come into this information and knowledge for it in the first place? There might be an interesting story there but I forget and its kind of curious, especially since she does end up being right. And well...they do lay it on a little thick. Clint kind of balanced it out on the RP aspect by both going after Piper and McDonough in this initial conversation. He didn't really have a lot of trust in the situation and low key playing him as, well ex Vet, does not entirely trust the situation, has to be cagey. And given that he is not really good at Charisma yet he did not get a lot of his speech checks passed in his dancing around...but he did confide in Piper's sister. As the game kind of blossoms out again the main campaign is kind of...short... in a way, or at least getting to the interesting part so, well if I remember right...no wait crap! I think I remembered the exact opposite. So where I was going to go with this is thinking of going to that one town, forget the name of it, but the town with the Silver Shroud custome. Pretty sure you go there with Nick. But aside from that immediete goals, well wanna get the SS costume early so Clint can have his getup, make contact with the factions, and try and get the companions...heck even I don't remember them all. And also not sure how you get them to join up even, probably completing tasks with them. Anyways that is pretty much it for now.

Alright, today we keep on grinding levels after we aren't finding any more Cores (maybe I will have to do a NG+ for an ending and that item) so, let's focus on another trophy (after this we go back to Jurassic World Evolution 2):

Have you played KENA Bridge of Spirits before? I bought it on a whim, not knowing anything about the game at all....And I actually really like it. The Combat is simple in comparison to Ghost, Jedi Fallen Order or Horizon games....But it can be challenging in its own right at times. And I really like the story and especially the graphics/animation. It looks exactly like a PIXAR Animated movie; I think it would make a great movie too. About 70 Canadian Dollars, I think for the Digital Deluxe Edition which includes DLC and a downloadable OST, albeit a shortened version to other versions that are available from iTunes. The ones on iTunes are longer for the same amount of money as what Steam is charging.

I'm also still kinda in Forbidden West. I just went and did the Machine Strike tutorial (I didn't bother with any of the hunting grounds, melee pit and that mini-game so...) and exploring the Daunt now that I have the special tools.
And reading on the Horizon Reddit, I'm not the only one annoyed by the combat.

Horizon Forbidden WestNow it's true, it is done. I did Burning Shores, or how I prefer calling it: Dating in Los Angels 3041. Also, f*** that last mission climbing. Anyhow, time to play something else. Darn, the devs could use that when coming up with a name for the DLC. Then I'll know to avoid it like the plague. How long did you take for the last mission climbing?

Anyhow, time to play something else. Darn, the devs could use that when coming up with a name for the DLC. Then I'll know to avoid it like the plague. How long did you take for the last mission climbing? I didn't check the time. But I had to retry it like 10 times because Aloy just wasn't going at the right node (and only inside, the outside stuff didn't cause me trouble). I even fell to my death once because Aloy decided to jump toward nothing. As a note, in Burning Shores, there are "climbing puzzles" they knew were shit because on falling, you restart on solid ground a few steps away from where you were.
And I had another little problem with climbing in the Daunt this afternoon, Aloy just didn't want to go to the next step right in front of her, just kept jumping right over it into emptiness. She stopped doing that when I moved her just a bit on the left before moving forward. I feel like the "yellow" lines are lying sometimes.
But it's not as annoying as the Machine Strike beginner match, despite being the 1st real match, it was the hardest of the 3 at the tutorial NPC (also she cheats, I've seen her use a piece, move+attack+overcharge, then move another piece + attack + overcharge and then go back to the first piece and attack+overcharge again).

No I haven't played that, but I'm not sure I want to play it either regardless of how cute it is.

And reading on the Horizon Reddit, I'm not the only one annoyed by the combat. What specifically annoyed you about the combat? I found it hard to adjust to for a while the first PT as different weapons in this game seemed to have been strengthened compared to the go To's in the last game. I know you like Melee and I am guessing maybe that is where your grievances may lie. I like to play ranged and the only real adjustment I had to make was that the Sharp Shot Bow was the new king of the heap, but you often had to set machines up with the elemental payloads of the Hunter Bow or the Sling. Spears are the OTT weapons, especially exploding ones and the Bolt Blaster was also even a big machine tamer, especially the freeze bolt one. However I thought the game had been built with far more Melee focus which meant for me a lot of the stuff they added I rarely used.

At this rate all future Bioware games will be half done and modders need to rescue it for free.

I feel like the "yellow" lines are lying sometimes. I know what you mean. I find even the usual climb up a cliff as annoying because Aloy will stubbornly not respond when there are clearly yellow lines available for her to jump to and grab. I think the devs have slacked off with the climb pathing for the sequel. I wonder if it would be worse for the third.
