Fallout 4
Started to practice with my .50 Cal and it really does work out well in combat. Ah yes there we are. First instance of the Vietnam Effect in this round of the game. Had to hit the Corvega Plant and it was filled with Raiders again. Got good target practice on them though. Did a lot of shooting with it. Felt I have to keep the rounds down to conserve it...not waste it on stuff. But the rife is working out. THink they might have even improved the Night Vision scope to isn't quite so unerable during the day... I guess.
Watched the Constitution go off and I actually...maybe I did know...but I was able to visit her again Just checked in. Found it funny that more Raiders instantly showed up.
So turns out I got a little confused about stuff and got my quests mixed up but did 'Best of Three' for the new quests they added which took me right through the Glowing...no wait Speak of the Devil was first. Speak of the Devil was a nice little quest tracking a bunch of signals with patrioatic messages. One of these quests finally have a story and plot. Followed it to a bunker where a former Enclave Soldier defected from them and then essentially turned into a Vigilante because he read a similar story he related to in a comic book. The Black Devil. Given that Clint is still running around in the SIlver Shroud Costume I find this quite sympathetic. Also got a brand new piece of Power Armor out of it. Enclave stuff.
Which I then used to go do 'Best of Three;. Which told the story of a Gunner soldier who went insane. One area was completley surrounded by Ghouls so went through a lot of .45 ammo. Then went through even more well...ran into a corpse and...bloat flies exploded out of it...friggin hideous. But in the end led me to the insane gunner who had a Tesla Cannon on him. Which then further complicates my weapon mix because well looking at the stats especially if I can get it fully upgraded the thing seems to do a lot of damage with its fusion cells. Like 105. I think it fires a constant barrage which can spread to other targets. Will need to test it out but, well I am intrigued on what it can do and may be something worth replacing...well given a few things either my short range weapons or long range. Thing has stupid long range. Not a lot of accuracy though. So that's weird.

I finished Divine Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition....There have been some frustrations getting to the last dungeon (me thinking not getting past the guardian because lacking star stones; turned out I had them in my inventory all along, just needed to 'use' the blood stones to turn them into star stones which took me several hours to find out ) but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Larian studios really creates games for gamers I say. i.gifer.com/UJr.gifCheers Larian!

HadesOnce more I've fisted my way out of Hell. And kinda got through with the gun too, but only because daddy didn't wanna fight at the end. Which also fulfilled the fate of getting out with all the reflections (was missing stubborn resistance which has been holding me back) and the dream of standing side by side with papa, watching them waters. There was even a fishing point at the surface that I succeeded at. Got to the credits but seems there is more to do. Still can't have bonding times with Father so probably need a few more escape attempts. The credit song was really nice. That escape attempt was nr 75 so that's nice. (Granted there were like 5 extra tries which didn't transfer over because the cloud didn't sync up proper.) Trails of Cold Steel III
So did the campus stuff and made some progress of the first day of the field exercises. There's been so much talk about Calvard and I'm been itching to see it. But got the rest of this one and then two whole games left to go through. And they're probably beefy as heck. Ahhhh. Not that Erebonia doesn't have bunch more stuff to see. It's a pain but a good kind of pain.

Fallout 4WEll took the Oscilated Tesla Canon into the field...I need to start naming these weapons...Thor's Hammer maybe. Anyways though tested it out in a few different combat situations but mainly in the run around to do the other mission that takes place in the Glowing Sea part of the Creation Club. Hunting down the remnants of the Enclave. So yeah cleared them out and their little base. Good review. Not an automatic like I was thinkin it would be which actually does do some benefit for it. And the arcing effect is really effective. And plus the thing does hit like a freight truck...well at least for Fusion Cell Weapons...and so it can really take people out. But then at the end of the day despite its damage potential and despite the profeciency of Fusion Cells I do want to be conservative in its usage...for those reasons. After that was done went to the memory done to investigate the connection to Kellog and got the usual lost in there. Still find it funny that he goes off and we hear him speaking with Kellog's voice at the end. But then also kind of...alive. And active. But then it gets even more funny that I do intend on giving Valentine Kellog's pistol eventually as well. From here well after nearly 25 levels I get to start pushing out more and doing side quests and try and flesh out this playthrough. Started with the quest where we give Travis a spine. And well first attempt I killed the guys we were supposed to fisticuff so that didn't go well...heh I do wonder how the quest would work actually because I realized I reloaded and then they kidnapped Vadim for being sketch. Wonder how that would've gone if the group wasn't alive. Anyways though then rescued Vadim. Next up did the Cabot quest, well most of it. Got a fair bit done overall. Man that Serum is powerful stuff. Fun bit here is I forgot that it took you back to those cultists that set up in Boston Harbor. So I finally got a chance to go back and clear them out. Much more powerful with much better weapons really wasn't that much of a struggle. Also the super Raider Beskers went down quite easily when shot by the Tesla Canon. Next up to find Lorenzo.

Now that I finished (not completed since missing some achies ) DDOS enchanced edition I could start Pillars of Eternity today. Dunno, guessing I am craving some old school stuff atm and so far the game is delivering although more slow paced than DDOS even. VERY much digging the game so far, still fumbling around with the keys though and probably making some bad early game decisions. Good thing that I save a LOT .

Finally, I liberated all of Tsushima today. Izuhara, Toyotama and Kamiagata, all free of Mongol occupation. Rightfully returned to the people of Japan. Tomorrow (hopefully) I will set off for Iki Island though I know nothing of what awaits me there.

Fallout 4
One of those days with an extended play session but yet just did not get a lot done.
Did the Cabot quest and this time I quite gleefully left Lorenzo in there afterall pretty sure I do know what would happen if I let him out. And well don't think Clint would fall for the sob story anyways either.
Nect bit did forget the Polymer Labs quest, think I did it before have a very vague memory of it. And that well didn't do too much trouble. I had a very big laugh though because the robot which gav eme the orientation 'your answer to the questions shows you are perfect for 'janitorial staff'' Very Five Nights at Freddy's. Quest involved going to a room and running a science experiment. Involving radiation and the staff turned into Ghouls. So I didn't really have the patience for it and kept getting trapped...and irradiated. So I left. Gotta find time to refill my Rad X soon.

Fallout 4News of the day is trying to make use of and determine what was a radiant quest and what is not. Given I normally hate Radiant quests and given that I really don't want to do radiant quests for reasons...trying to avoid doing them in an effort to streamline this playthrough and get it over with. Though I am also running a bit short on quests that I want to do...I think? Anyways though in this, I confirmed it later, but did 'Boston After Dark'. And well first part of it...I forgot entirely about Bunke Hill. Another little market complex there, emphasis on the little as there was actually just one vendor and one bar that I could see. WEird thing happened at the bar, maybe a glitch in hindsight, but overheard a conversation by Brandon Keener 997 talking with his father about joining the Railroad. His father didn't, and I encouraged him to do so and thought it was cool that he wanted to help Synths...and Valentine hated it. Weirder though to got the next conversation with him advancing his plot where he dropped the lore on some anti Synth sentiment. So. Weird. Rest of Boston After Dark just involved getting a Synth through the Railroad and to safety. And then off to go help Tinker Tom deploy MILA...yeah just remembered this is a radiant quest. Didn't realize it at first so he sent me, of all places, up where the USS Consititution was. Trouble was the GPS system was giving me contradictory directions so I couldn't get to it. Doing research on it discovered that it was, indeed, a radiant quest. Grumble grumble. So I jetisoned myself from it and qent onto the next little quest in the list the Butcher's Bill...that'll be for tommorow. And with this to been thinking about my ending more and more, and realized something, probably not for the first time but it is worth noting...the Railroad are pretty much the only faction in Fallout 4 that does not have much of a plan for the future. The Institute, the Brotherhood, and the Minutemen all have a reason to be after the events of the game. But the Railroad...just is after the emancipation of the Synths and the elimination of the Institute, just don't have anything really to do. Sure integrate more synths but everyone else has bolder plans for the Commonwealth, which is both a good thing and a bad thing I just realized to. But still its another point for the Minutemen and/ or the Brotherhood. Course the Brotherhood sucks as well and well gotta maybe look up which guys go after who to avoid making the ending as painful as I can get away with.

They unlocked Career Mode on the FC25 Beta las tnight and I mus tadmit I like the changes. I do htin kthey need a random option for the wind as makin gthat unpredictable could real ychange things up on the gam e as I've definitely noticed the wind changing th ebals trjector ywhen playing. I must admoit I'm lookin g forward t oplayin gthe series X version of thi sgam eeven more now as that wil lreall yshak ethings up and I'm lookin gforward to seeing how it affects hair and things lik ethat. KI took ov reSpurs ladies and bought both Jordyn Huitema from Seattle Reign and Chlo eKell yfrom Man City i tdi dtak eselling one of m ytop defenders to afford it as money is reall ytight in th ewomens game (as I only started wit h £300,000 in th ebank) but seeing as I play a more attacking styl eo ffootball I don't mind. I ncontrast of course when playin gmens football you have somethin glike £150-200 million to spend on players a tthe top clubs. Bu tthen t obyu the likes o fplayers like Harry Kane or Erling Haaland you need to be prepared to spend £100 million. Th emen sgam ei seasie rto build a soli dteam thoug hI think but I still think with the new youth features it shouldn't be too hard to do it with the ladies it likely will just take longer given you need to watch the bank balance more.

Just finished Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast (Story Spoilers).
This game and KOTOR are some of the best Star Wars game experiences I’ve had. The game starts out as a Half Life clone with Star Wars paint but after you get your force powers, that’s when the game really takes off. You can jump high, throw your lightsaber, use mind tricks, standard push/pull, but you also have access to Dark Jedi powers like force grip and lightning. You automatically redirect blaster bolts by using your lightsaber so you can clear out a hallway of goons by letting an enemy turret shoot at you. But still there’s nothing more satisfying than throwing bad guys off ledges with a force grip. What’s even more awesome is that you don’t loose your guns and you can switch between ranged combat or close combat whenever you feel like it. There are also points where the Lightsaber becomes a liability so you switch to your guns. There’s also moments you use turrets and even pilot an AT-ST but honestly the latter is terrible because the camera sucks.
In regards to the characters, I really like your character: Kyle Katarn. He’s not an idealistic boy scout like young Luke nor is he a monastic weirdo like the other Jedi. He’s just a cynical former Stormtrooper with a lightsaber who is prone to anger but doesn’t succumb to the Dark Side even when he thought his GF was killed by the big bad. I don’t like stoic Jedi living away from civilization, it makes sense but it makes them boring. Anyway, the big bad is a Dark Jedi named Dessan who is one of Luke’s students who succumbed to the Dark Side and he has a T-Rex head, how awesome is that? You of-course meet Luke in this game as you are one of his first pupils and help out Lando Calrizzian (sorry) but strangely you don’t meet Han Solo even though he would have been perfect for the tone of this game.
The plot is Kyle is investigating Imperial stragglers with his partner and lover Jan Ors and you come to learn that the remaining Imperials are larger/better equipped than expected. Not only that but the Imperials are trying to augment soldiers into becoming artificial Dark Jedi called Reborn. In the course of your investigation, Jan seemingly gets killed by Dessan and Kyle was far too weak to stop it. I’m his anger, Kyle goes to the Valley of the Jedi to regain his Force Abilities and Yavin 4 to get his Lightsaber from Luke. From then onward he continues hunt for Dessan going from fighting underworld gangsters to saving Lando to liberating Cloud City from Gangsters and Imperials to fighting Dessan’s Dark Jedi minions. Eventually, Kyle discovers Dessan’s hidden base and puts it out of action alongside Luke but not before Kyle learns that Dessan has already captured the Valley of the Jedi as well as infused a thousand of his followers with force abilities. Dessan leaves on his giant ship to destroy the Jedi once and for all by wiping out the academy along with its Jedi on Yavin 4. Kyle rescues Jan, takes down the giant ship with the help of Rogue Squad, makes planetfall, cuts through Dessan’s army and finally ends Dessan. In the end, Kyle accepts being a Jedi and holds onto his lightsaber.
Enemy variety is pretty good, you get the standard Imperial cannon fodder along with specialized versions like rocket troopers and officers. There’s plenty of Imperial Drones to fight and some vehicles like the dreaded AT-ST. You also fight thugs and they like snipping and grenade spams. Dark Jedi are scary at first since they can also use the same force abilities as you do, the terrifying Dark Jedi are the ones equipped with armor and can force choke you, thank god you can slow down time.
Firearms are fairly varied from Classics like Bowcasters and Imperial Blasters to Spike Throwers and Super Blasters. You only get one lightsaber but you can adjust stances which allow you to perform different lightsaber arts.
My only complaints are the difficulty spikes and the BS platforming sequences where you have to dodge rocket spam while jumping on narrow platforms and the rockets either take off 90% of your health or knock you off. There’s so many glowing control switches and computer banks that it gets confusing on what you’re suppose to press.
Overall, damn good game from a better era.

To this day Jedi Outcast remians one of my favourite games of all time. I played it so many times that when my dad's friends would call and say "I'm stuck and [this part] and don't know what to do" I knew exactly where they were on the map, they didn't have to describe anything. I could give them a Walkthrough over the phone without even seeing anything. I loved the entire Dark Forces series (with one exception being Mysteries of the Sith), and was heart-broken the day my PC could no longer play it because of hardwares advances or changes tot he OS. There are times when I wish I could go back and play it or even if I had to give up one of the games i play now to replay it...I just might. That game and the series will remain in my memory forever. I'm glad LucasArts is rebranded once again into Lucasfilm Games, which LucasArts Entertainment Co. was originally when it was first formed in 1982. I wish they could go back and remake the DARK FORCES series with the UE 5 engine for today's PCs

GW2
Almost done with End of Dragons storyline on my Mechanist. I even got to do the last boss in the open world format before triggering it in the story instance. It's only the 2nd time I do it (it's long, and you don't always have enough people to do it on the map).
But like pretty much every time I play GW2 for "real", I start to drift toward other classes, lol. I haven't made any other character, just checked stuff online where the "meta" was at. I might unlock and play a bit as an Holomisth on my Norn Engineer thought.

Today I started Iki Island and I am enjoying it equally as much as the main story. I like how it adds to the lore of the story and even increases the enemy variety.

GW2Finished End of Dragon story content, including the post-expac release episodes. I got to kill a demon with positive emotions.
Now Secret of the Obscure awaits, but the Commander just want a nap and vacations.

I may have to play some of this again later... go go gadget nostalgia! I haven't played any Worms title in almost two decades, but I can still hear the sound that should accompany this gif

Fallout 4Continued on with the Railroad bits, investigating a failed safehouse and tryint to find out about it and make contact. Didn't really take too long all things considered. It was a little full on the Raiders. And well, first time, I fell down to the bottom missed my target, and died. So second time I let my fifty cal off the leash...still gotta name these things! Kind of fun little mission. It did pretty well. But the Kendall Hospital did include one of the more infamous areas from my time with the game. Down at the bottom of it, recognized the door almost instantly, something which has given me a lot of trouble in the past. But then I remembered 'isn't there a deathclaw down here?' turned around...and sure enough! The wife screamed. Didn't do too much and didn't take me too long this time as I just bumped into the solution to the puzzle pretty quickly. A circuit baker. Back at Railroad HQ spent awhile wanting to look for Tinker Tom to do more off loading and then on loading more of my supplies. Didn't really work out too much seems to have dissapeared. But then I realized Doctor Carrington is also a vendor and had the specific stuff I was looking for, wanted to stock up on Rad X in order to make sure I get through the Glowing Sea when my time arrives...again. Off to the Pyrdwyn to look into getting more quests from the Brotherhood. Kells was a little...aggressive...but Clint militaried up. He put me onto a supply theft situation which was going on in the Brotherhood. The Sergent was protective of his men but also highly dismissive and rude, the Initiate was pretty on brand and eager acting, and the Knight also seemed very earnest. At here I was beginning to suspect the Initiate in my own way but had no solid evidence. The Sergent was like 'you could go check their berths, with Kells permission you can go wherever you want!' So I did so. Fun irony of RPGs here tracked down the information I needed, the Initiate has been acting distant and late for his shifts recently... but then I took the opprotunity to take all the ammo and the knick knacks for them. No penelty since the game does not consider stealing, I have official permission after all, but here I am investigating a theft ring...by stealing everything that is not nailed down.

Been living life on the edge. My mouse has been giving me the red blinking light that means "I'm about to die, replace my batteries" for a few days now. Been playing a fair bit of ME3MP waiting for it to do just that. Did this the last time however, and the bloody thing lasted me nearly a month. So the blinker is... generous. See how long it lasts this time...

Did not wind up playing Worms but I did find out I have one of their titles on GoG I might have to try one of these days.
At one point I owned the Armageddon disc but that point was a very long time ago.

GW2I made a Weaver Elementalist. I'll see if that is sturdier in Celestial. I had an elementalist I kinda liked a few years ago, but once you hit post Core content, the healing vs damage just wasn't enough. But the build found is somewhat sturdy right now. I didn't get pulverized by one of the Hero Point in Elona that usually pulverize me. It's also killing stuff faster than the Mechanist and Guardian. Having a block bubble every 20 seconds helps a lot thought. I need to play around with it more because Weaver is complicated with how the skill swap when you attune. Also, Elementalist means remembering 4xweapon skills per weapons. Beside that, I started SoTO on my Mechanist. The "NPCs" using /whisper is still super weird.
