SWTOR
BH now on Dromund Kaas doing bounties to get the last slot for the Great Hunt. I had to save a Alderanian noble. I killed the crazy woman keeping him around, one less crazy Imperial around.
I also took Scoundrel as a second combat style. I wanted stealth so it was that or Operative and BH often use a gun in cutscene so Scoundrel seemed better. I will probably play as Commando mostly thought.

AC Valhalla Started with fishing and again caught about ten big fishes this is starting to get more fun. So then the assault on Caustow Castle started and we came we saw and we conquered yet again. I had to pick up the defeated Rodri after and follow ivarr to a place far away from the settlement. Then there was a cutscene and i found out the truth of who killed Ceolbert and it turns out it was ivarr. Then it was time to kill ivarr and i defeated him and denied him the path to go to Valhalla. After that i talked to Deorlaf and told him the truth about what happened and he was satisfied with my answer. Yeah i was hoping for this and i'm glad it came true i skipped the funeral so that's that let's drink to that *drinks*. I do wonder what Sigurd will say when he finds out that his friend has died. When that was finished i went home and reported back to Randvi we first kiss because i was away for a long time so there was some catching up to do. So i went outside and saw that poor boy Knud so i thought lets follow him without activating the quest. We ran over the bridge and to my surprise it worked he did not disappear so i followed him and we went to a house and there were two children waiting and they were waiting for a very long time. We talked and i had to rescue a wolf and i wanted to but there was a boar blocking my way and so i had to kill him. When that was done i went inside and rescued the wolf and he did not attack so i walked outside and the four of us talked some more and after that we ran back to Ravensthorpe. And on our way back we were attacked by three wolves and i had to kill them to and the wolf that i rescued earlier came looking and the five of us ran back home and that means the end and i do love happy endings from time to time. I ran back to Randvi and i got my next assignment and that led me to Cent. When i finally got there i met up with Basim and we talked and he introduced me to brother Hortbert. We had to find Fulke and deal with her once and for all. I had to talk to some people to find a guy and when i found him i had to sober him up and i used the river for that. No i did not drown him of course not i just had to sober him up a little for him to talk to me.

Had been planning to make progress in Metaphor ReFantazio but after posting about the character creator in BG3 I've found myself not once, but twice lured in by it's sirens call, eating up my time like an all devouring black hole. Damn you game I've already done five runs, stop tempting me into ten more. But maybe just a bit more...

Damn you game I've already done five runs, stop tempting me into ten more. But maybe just a bit more... This reminds me when I was so obsessed with the Mass Effect series. Mass Effect 2 had recently come out and I immediately played through it multiple times. I took a break to play Batman: Arkham City, only to stop halfway through because I needed to play through Mass Effect 2 again. I keep wondering what my next gaming obsession will be, or if I even will have another gaming obsession.

BG3 I've taken to cleaning up after my messes. I picked up all the bodies and stowed them in any containers I find as I'm throwing in portraits, not bodies. 😁 However if there's a chasm or rivers of lava nearby, I throw the bodies into them. Not rivers of water though. I've also successfully KO Minthara but I didn't take anything off her so I wouldn't be seeing her naked later. I still can't imagine Githyanki laying eggs. Anyway I picked up one and put it in Lae'zel's bag. I didn't bother returning to the Society's NPC to talk to her so I don't know if she'll continue to stand at her spot, waiting fruitlessly for the adventurers to return. 😁 Wonder if Larian Studios would take this player approach into account and have her return to the Society HQ in BG. After all, they did consider the outcome of companions not recruited by the player.

Injustice 2 Gods Among Us.
Couple of notes. Obviously since Veilguard is coming out soon and since I don't have a lot of time to go through a game with a serious campaign or one that would take a lot of time...and then the wife has declared that Borderlands is a 'Weekend' game so it left me scrambling in a bit. Also in a bit of inspiration and well another thing...its been awhile since I have played a fighting game and with Sparking Zero out...well I kind of want to get that one eventually because it does look fun. lol:
It is not a good sign though that I had a devil of a time even on the tutorial. Trying to figure out a lot of the combos and the like and specific mechanics was a bit...difficult. Actually a lot of funnyness though. This game is patently absurd knocking Supes around and then blasting him into orbit with a durigible baloon only to knock him back down to Earth after shooting him with the bat wing...that sort of thing.
After that I did run through the Green Arrow stuff and had a lot of trouble. But apparently he has a lot of trick arrows and the like.
Then since there was very little time left didn't decide to go into just random fights which was a thing. Lets see...hmm trying to remember all three of them. But Black Canary and SUpergirl. And this was more to my liking, set it on Easy but a bunch of random button mashing to see what happened with stuff. At one point I launched a boxing glove arrow at her. And then her super move was dragging GA near the sun and then blasting him through a rock which caused the rock to splinter and fall on him....he should be dead. But then two of his other moves one of the moves is a grapple move where he puts two arrows down...and then one to the face. Then his ultimate is shooting explosive ammo, ragdolling person into it, then shooting an ice arrow freezing them, before suplexing them.

AC Valhalla After i talked to the guy he pointed me in yet another direction. I had to find a guy named Tedmund and kidnap him so when i found him i did what was asked and headed to a camp. Once there i talked to the man in charge and when that was over i killed him and every soldier in that camp and talked to the Danes afterwards and they were glad i rescued them. It turned out that the Tedmund i kidnapped wasn't the real Tedmund so now i had to find the real Tedmund. So i headed out to my next quest marker and i had to find a key so i used my Odin's sight and found the soldier who was carrying it. And when i killed that soldier i had to kill some other soldiers as well quite a few as a matter of fact so when i finally found the key i headed inside and disabled the Naval Chain. After that i regrouped with the soldiers who were waiting for my return. So when that was done the assault on Rouecistre began. This assault was annoying and irritating with all the fire cannisters and other things. But in the end we were VICTORIOUS what else is new *drinks*. So that left us with me finding the real Tedmund and when i finally found him i send him to the eternal hunting grounds. After that a cutscene was shown and when that was done i had to speak to Geadric. He pointed me to Basim and when i found him the two of us headed towards the point marker. And there she was again Fulke and all of a sudden we had to escape ? why ? there were only a few soldiers nothing that we couldn't handle. ? So we did and after talking to Basim again we had to take the long ride the very long ride to Canterbury. Once we finally got there we had to infiltrate a cathedral uh come again my Eivor does not do infiltrations. So every soldier we saw we killed and Basim joined me and had fun he did not say but there was a smile on his face the entire time. I found the key that was necessary to open a door and we headed inside and there was another cutscene and that was it. The end for now. So i returned to my Randvi and when we saw each other we fell in each others arms and we kissed. I was tired from my long trip and headed to my chambers and went to sleep a cutscene was shown and once i got control again i went outside. Dag wanted to talk to me and it turned out that he had enough of me wtf. No matter what choice i made i had to fight him and so we did and i defeated him. When that was done i had a choice to make and i thought i made the right choice but all my companions and friends in town who witnessed the fight were all looking at me like i was the devil herself that was so weird. I wonder if i had made the "wrong" choice.

SWTORSome Consular today. I did the last two story flashpoints of the traitor arc. Saved Theron and asked Lana to marry me. Next is Ossus, I kinda remember it being on the short side. After that Onslaught, but I don't think I'll finish the story content before Veilguard gets released. I'm kinda getting side tracked by my new Bounty Hunter.

Still buried deep in the story line of Disco Elysium. There have been some problems advancing the story but I had an Eureka moment realizing that in the evening certain people are no longer where one would expect them to be and thus are none present. After that I made big progress on the story.
"My" Harry is a softy that is searching for the meaning of life while looking at the world with naive inquisitive eyes. Kit is a great side kick and the character really grew on me. Once I finished this play through I might go "neanderthal" just to see what will change story wise.
This link (got it from the internet) shows what I have been looking for:

SWTORI managed to go throught Jedi Under Siege on my Consular. After, three very easy FP, this was a bit harder. Enemies had more health or something. Next is Onslaught, but I'm not sure if I'm starting it already. Veilguard release soon. Anticipation is increasing. Interest in non-Veilguard stuff is decreasing.

Still don't know if I'll buy Veilguard waiting to see what the consensus is on this forum.

BG3 So I remembered that I actually had two completed PTs of the game since launch. The first PT was a female half elf with Halsin. The second was a male elf with Shadowheart. Gale's er roll in the hay is a little strange. I decided to pick the "show me these extraordinary stuff you're talking of" and 🤣 as I watched it unfolded. Oh well, could be worse. Since I didn't reload to pick the other option, I don't know if the usual is better. I'll find out after I finish this PT since I did make a save point when his messenger showed up. It's very interesting doing the Gauntlet of Shar with Shadowheart as the protag as her thoughts are narrated and Shar spoke to her. I was going out of my way not to make any Cleric statements in the name of Shar. I also realised I completely miss one aspect of the final test after speaking with Nightsong further down the road but on further consideration, have to to wonder if that particular spear Shadowheart picked up is special. Nightsong spoke of being killed repeatedly by aspiring Justiciars in their final tests in her 100 years imprisonment, coming back to life over and over because she cannot be killed.
For Shadowheart's final test, Nightsong spoke of terrible consequences if she were killed. Is this the usual threat she said to frighten every aspiring Shar disciple or is this a special case for Shadowheart, I wonder? I'm inclined to think it's the former.

Injustice 2
Diving into the story mode now, such as it is, and its...interesting so far. Well not too interesting I guess but at least the beginning was a little interesting.
So I do know a little about Injustice Ones story. At least a little bit, though I am not sure...actually I do think I did watch a Lets Play of it. So Superman goes insane when Joker tricks him into killing Lois and then starts going all ubermench tyrant XL 3000 and resolves to just start killing prisoners. I think he killed Batman? Then another Batman from another universe comes in and saves things...I think. Either that or it was another hero which then came over and then rescued an imprisoned Batman...which would seem to be more accurate considering that Batman does not act like an alternate universe batman in the bits we have seen but a 'native'. Also this game, so far, seems to be entirely from that 'alternate' timeline...and well this game basically begins with two flasbacks, one explaining what happened to Kara...Zor El and Krypton and its invasion by Braniac...and the other one basically starting shortly after Superman began his reign of terror as Batman tried to stop it.
And...fighting games have really weird set up. Cutscene cutscene...fight for two mintues...cutscene. Will have to do this for five hours. Oi. So Batman resolves to do something about the situation and beats up lets see here trying to remember the first one... but Wonder woman...super man...and then Robin. Who is his son 'Damien'...and well he made a statement earlier about maybe they should take the fight to the criminals and then killed a prisoner in front of Batman to prove it and Batman had to beat him up.
Chapter 2 was a bit of a fun trip though and by fun trip I mean...ugh. Seems that in the present Batman has recruited Harley Quinn, of all people, into running his Brother Eye surveliance software. First off as an aside kind of funny how Batman whined about Superman going all tyrant...and then develops a super surveilance system to track everyone. Of course I mean this quite literally as well there is some nice thematic significance in it...especially given what happens later. Anyways though Harleys match ups involve her fighting against Scare Scrow, Joker, Swamp thing. Her ultimate ability is sicking dogs on an opponent and having them take a bit of a snack. And also at this point I had never lost more then two fights in a row though I suspect the game might also be taking it easier on the second time.
Chapter 3 is where it starts to get a little bit more interesting at least from a story front. Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Harley go off to investigate Forilla Grodd's 'society' in order to stop his plans for apparently world domination. A fun little gameplay element was introduced here with Black Canary and Green Arrow both being partners and married I actually got to choose, via the thumb sticks, who I would go fight with. Granted not much of a choice for me...so Green Arrow took on Catwoman, Bane, Doctor Fate (huh?), and Grodd himself. The Bane fight was quite fun as had Arrow distract him by beating him half to death and then Dinah cut the guys tubes. Also must say, keep thinking of things mid typing!, that I know Green Arrow is a lot more sarcastic and quippy in the comics then Stephen Amell's portrayal in Arrow...which I really enoy both Stephen's brooding but also some good ole quality sarcasm and quipping as well so it was relally interesting to see. Despite the uncanny valley of some of the facial animations he did have this really clever smirk a couple of times...something to consider for Veilguard. Anyways though the fight that broke credibility was against Doctor Fate which seems kind of a demi god, Superman equivalent, and normie Oliver Queen with his normie arrows handled him quite easily. Actually went undefeated as Arrow to. But yes, Doctor Fate also warned us about a threat to the planet and he tried to save Oliver and Dinah...which preciptated the fight...and then said threat materialized in the form of the Jeffery Coombs voiced Braniac. Who captured Dinah and Oliver as well which leaves me concerned...started invading Earth, took over the Brother Eye network (thus building even more ham fisted symbolism but still, kudos), and deployed an army looking for Clarke.
Chapter 4 moves onto the Flash and a slight surprise Flash has been my favorite character to fight with from an ability standpoint. They actually do a lot of really neat things with his speed abilities including like a delayed punch where he just swings his arms and then the enemy takes multiple hits. Kind of a fun thing to witness. His super ability though is absurd hurtling his opponent back in time and whacking him into a T-Rex, then the T-Rex snarls. ALso bit absurd the set up to as they had Dead shot land a shot on him even though he was running at full speed. Fought against Captain Cold, Deadshot, Reverse Flash,(a real Arrow reunion,) and then oddly enough Green Lantern. Despite the need for redemption and what not in this story this bit is kind of odd. GL shows up and Flash is pissed since they were both part of the Regime, GL actually joined the SInastro corps (which I knew from the aforementioned LP), and then was imprisoned by the rest of the Lanterns. Well he shows up, with his ring, Flash and him beat the crap out of one another...and then afterwards he is just like "I am good boy I swear." And Flash was like "OK he is good boy." Then Batman was like "OK I don't trust him but I need to widen my circle of trust, so you are good boy." Yes, the logical proposition is farily solid that he wouldn't have the ring and be free if he weren't good boy...but then why go and start beating the crap out of the Flash?
Anyways though next up Batman goes to Atlantis to recruit another member of the 'Regime' aquaman.

I was a Teenage Exocolonist
Addictive~ stat raiser. my first playthrough I attempted a coup, failed that stat check, turned it off and started a new game. I'm a coward and I didn't feel like being shot on stage, which felt like a legitimate outcome considering how swift a lot of NPC deaths have been.
Wonderfully, my 2nd playthrough has the added benefit of "seeing the future" of her "past life" so a few stat checks have been much easier. Saved Tammy (you don't want cotton candy!!) but lost her dad. 😅 Shouldn't have dived in on raising my empathy when -toughness- and -bravery- stats are pretty vital in that first year.
This has been a great game to play while waiting for Veilguard to drop.

Injustice 2Got through Chapter 5 and 6. As a note and a perfect little dove tail given what happened but the save system. Now I have made my peace kind of with the save systems in general and games not offering the option to do a hard save. It became quite readily apparent that this game would not have one, hard saves, that is. I have made my peace and with some games it can work...and this would have been really hard as it is all just cutscenes and fights so really would have been hard to find a place to pop down a save system without...any time to control these characters and let them breathe, which I realize is kind of off putting but then first fighting game in awhile. It does leave me with the feeling like they were expecting us to just finish the game in one sitting, which is weird. But most important is it replayed the end cutscene between Green Lantern and Flash and I did realize/ remember and make note of that Flash specifically mentioned that GL was pulling his punches which kind of softens my criticism a little, but I also don't remember GL being like 'hey I am here to help' and instantly started beating up on one another. And like I didn't fail but really if the GL suceeded in beating up Flash would I have gotten a 'game over/ retry' screen or would have GL said 'hey buddy listen I am actually here to help, sorry for beating you up but you left me no choice' lmao. Anyways Chapter 5 is off to Atlantis to recruit Aquaman...who was annoyed at trying to be recruited...but then Braniac and co show up to attack Atlantis. Like this game is very blunt and moves through its story beats and arcs very quickly. Other case in point here Green Lantern did have an instance of something was seemingly controlling him, his eyes were growing red and almost seemed to have multiple personalities...only to be fine later. Guess to get into that though should get into things and my usual bull shit memory rears its head again because GL fought at least Cheetah...Atrocious or something? And someone else...maybe two someone else's. Ugh. In general though GL so far has been my least favorite character to fight with so far and such a whiplash from Flash because especially at first he's really slow and gets hard to get used to...ah yes I remember first guy was Bane of all people. Though on this note to this game is really odd because, at least through the story mode, you are constantly switching characters, just get good enough and somewhat used to them...improving fight to fight...only to then move on later. The Atrocious fight was by far the most interesting conceptually and story wise as the guy is a 'Red Lantern' who also has a cat familiar (side bar I am really not that familiar with DC if its not obvious) But seeing this cat familiar just floating and aiding in attacks was super fun and funny. But it was here that it was revealed that Atrocious was the one influencing Hal. Essentially trying to get him to give into his rage and become a 'Red Lantern'...which I will admit was at least halfway effective because of the back drop and Hal has a lot to be upset over, and it was cool seeing him over come it...but another very quick character arc. Chapter 6 was fun and probably the most interesting story wise so far. Wonder Woman and team decides to go in and rescue Kal from his prison in order to fight Braniac and his cronies. They did this with Kara in tow as well and its quickly revealed here that Superman knows about Braniac, probably because of Kryptonian databases, and also Kara because of the same reason. His 'you haven't aged a day' comment and her agreement with it was...weird considering she has clearly aged a few days since then. Eesh. Anyways our perspective characters are Blue Beetle and Firestorm, know of Firestorm from Arrow but I have no real connection to either one so just was more free to use 'logic and reason' in my choices. First up was Black Adam who is a magic user so I thought Firestorm would be a fairer fight...and I didn't like Firestorm much at all having the same problems as Green Lantern, slow floaty man. Did find it curious that Black Adam would always yell out 'Shazam!' when casting his magic. THought that was Shazam's thing. Anyways after two attempts got him though. Then against Cyborg and Robin used Blue Beetle because just from the little inclination I got Blue Beetle seems like part machine/ tech to so it seemd a good match for Cyborg...and Robin of course was a normie. Then after everyone is gloating Kara comes in and tackles us so she's next and went with Firestorm at first and got my butt kicked...so I decided to change my answer because I could and go with Blue Beetle since I was really liking the character and move sets more. After defeating Kara is where the juicyness began because Firestorm and Blue Beetle just hate the Regime and was doing their damndest to keep Supes in his prison...just for Batman to come in and release him. Like I get it it was a natural conclusion and I thought he'd get out eventually just like it that Batman did so because he is a bit practical. Great line passed between the two "I can see you are finally willing to use any means neccessary to bring Braniac down" "No I'm using the means at hand". Terrific line. As was the whole "I'm not going back to that cell" "Well we'll get there when we get there." And well from here other thing worth bringing up is that Wonder Woman I think it was accused Bruce of keepign secrets, sounds very Arrowy...I know the criticism exists that they made Arrow too Batman like in Arrow, but then also fun since Green Arrow always was another Batman to...but yeah shades of interest there. But then even when working with Clarke and co he sends Firestorm off on a secret mission, very on brand. Other fun factor in the Red Sun prison you can see Clarke in the background in the story. I thought that was fun because didn't remember seeing it when I fought in the Arena in free form so I did a quick match between GA and Deadshot and sure enough, well someone is in that cell.

BG3 As always, I'm impressed with Vlaakith. The useless rage, the wily lies, the masterful bluster; I WILL TEAR YOU APART!! Sure, but you're kind of somewhere floaty out there and I'm down here on the planet. Rather pointless sending in your warriors. All of them ended up as puddles on the floor. Kind of nuts the Githyanky are happy to have a Lich as their ruler. Don't they ever ask themselves what she's feeding on? 🤔 Really love the voice actress, Bethan Dixon Bate, for Vlaakith. She nailed the menace. I don't think I've spoken to Raphael's assistant but I did so this time without realising who she is. I thought she looks like the proprietor of a mage store. That she encourages Shadowheart to sign a contract with Raphael is, well, astonishing but well, she is after all, his assistant for eternity. Failing her employer is never good for her health.
