Ghost Recon Wildlands was the best value c.$20 I've spent on a game. Completing the story, clearing 21 provinces and collectibles to 100%, good times. And the story was interesting enough to pull through some filler, but even the filler was open to random muck-ups to make them interesting. The reason I missed it was due to it launching 14 days before Mass Effect Andromeda, so my attention was elsewhere. God damn I wish I got a screen capture that looked that good. I guess there was a few of them but damn that last one is good. And I really like your character, which head are you using? And also nice sort of black ops gear you've got going. It is weird though the game does not have that much of a story when you get right down to it but its...servicable. It really works for what they were trying to do and the game is extra super fun despite that. With so many open world games out there with borderline more complicated stories it feels odd to say that this is the best Open World Game I have played. After playing The Division I was sorely tempted to play it but like you I was waiting for MEA which has consumed me since except for a pause to play AC Origins and then a re-run of MET and DA2. I a m still tempted to play it especially after colfoley played and wrote about it as well but I suspect Odyssey is going to consume a lot of my time in the near future, so it will have to wait a bit longer. I am not good at the multiple game playing thing. I'm getting the severe itch to go back to my second PT for my 'fun' on the side game...but then hell I might get so mad at FC 4 I might just start playing the rest of it all the way through after all. Going to finish my Madden season first at the very least because I think that would be 'unfair'...hell may do just one more too for 'this season'. Either way though its a hell of a game and I do highly recommend it. Its like my childhood (which I have probably said) but a dozen times cooler. As for what I have been doing today in my games and speaking of Madden I finished out my season and went to a perfect 16-0 with a bang against the NYJs. Brady went absolutley beserk in the game. 5 touchdowns, no interceptions, completing 94% of his passes for 470+ yards and finishing with a perfect passer rating of 158.3. Gronk finished the season I think with 112 catches 20 Touchdowns and 1700 + yards. Brady won the MVP award, Griffin Murray won Coach of the Year (because for some reason Bellichick is not in Madden), James Harrison won Defensive Player of the Year, Teddy Bruschi won Defensive Rookie of the Year and quite sure Brady won Offensive Player of the year so...quite nice. Brady finished the year with 80 Tochdowns and over 7100 yards (which is quite absurd if it were real life but hey its a video game). Onto Kansas City for the AFC Divisional Game where I was quite surprised by how qell I handled them, everyone except for Edelman had a heck of a game and I finished 45-7 Patriots. In Far Cry 4 I have actually started settling into the game it seems...for the most part. With me getting a Sniper Rifle with a suppressor I was willing to actually start playing more of the missions and trying things out. One Assassination mission which...did not go too well because you have to kill AND loot him whie being undetected, probably took me five gos and I just ended up killing all his guys first...no one to see you if you are all dead, throwback tactic from Ghost Recon Wildlands actually. Lets see what else did I do? Hunting control for Dholes, an outpost, a cargo supply run, two missions for Kyrati Fashion Week and I also upgraded two sets of my gear for the first time (the throwable bag and the ammo bag). I tell you its one of the best feelings in the world when you can upgrade one of your gear and then have all the requirements for the next piece...and the next and the next. I upgraded like to gear like that and unfortunatley one of them was the Throwable bag which I didn't really think I needed, but now I have fifteen grenades, yey. Anyways two missions down. First one the side with Sabal or side with Amita...the only real role play you can do in the game between them and I figure that at least for this one 'my' Ahjay is going to side with Sabal since he figures he owes Sabal one for saving his life in the beginning. Now if I side with Sabal or Amita in the future I am not entirely sure though I think I have an idea. But his mission had me defending two rebel camps from an attack by the Royal Army. Hunters attacked and it was a close thing, out of 6 rebels only two survived...and I did shoot one when he ran into my line of fire. The next camp was wiped out before I got there but I was able to mop up Pagan's forces and finished the mission. Next mission involved going to Shanrath arena and it was quite cool...and long. Long story short you can go back to the Arena and do various scenarios, not sure how much time I will spend there, or on any of the side tasks, but there you have it. Which then leads me to the annoying thing, after all that joy the game rapidly went back to being frustrating. The animals in this game are retardedly grindey and just pads the run time which is doubly stupid because of all the side activities. Some people hate Eagles, my fiancee dealt with legions of honey badgers...my nemesis? The dhole. The feckers hunt in packs and swarm you which really drains your ammo. Then I was so pissed I was doing my due dilligence in scouting out an outpost and was trying to be patient, but then, I heard the galloping of hoofbeats behind me and turned around to see a friggin Rhino charging in....had to fall off the mountain to avoid him but then I had to find a new position which led to a blown attack and...well second time it went better. But it just wants to make me pull my hair out.

Grr - DEM TONOMBZ!! edit: talking about Rise Of The Tomb Raider Note to self: Do not go to the optional tombs. Yeah I went to Baba Yaga, the first one available. I couldnt get out from there anymore, maybe I was too tired, but then again after resting for some tens of minutes I could trash enemies on MEAMP... Game has been otherwise fun enough, just... dont let the open worlditis set in! - Bad thing is, I notice it doesnt either have HDR processing or uses very compressed textures. On the water surface it might look like theres oil, but its not intentional, its just "not enough bits to go for blending" fail. Then another thing is my pet peeve : using a shader on people which "edge lits them" but which completely breaks the lighting doing so. Imagine MEA Avina overlaid on character, but only the edges "glowing" - game looks otherwise so good, then there are moments like these I know I know, its not killing the game, I just dont like when someone invented "hey we cant see character in the dark if it doesnt have that eerie edge glow!"

Solved my troll problem in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, finally! And then spent the next couple of months of game time just managing and expanding my barony. I imagine my Inquisitor is extremely keen to go kill something again, but at least she got to take out some of her frustration on her new boyfriend. (Finally, a BDSM video game relationship where the protagonist gets to be the domme!)
I've still got more than fifty days until what I imagine is the end of the chapter; hopefully enough time to finish off a few quests I've accumulated and build another settlement.

To celebrate I got me a nice Bolivian scarf in the Division.

And also nice sort of black ops gear you've got going. The head, by the way, is a 'Murphy', I think it really suits. I'll try to roleplay games, even those that aren't really made for roleplay. - I usually play female when I get a choice, I enjoy the roleplay more (even when there isn't any).
- Like Iron Bull, I have a thing for redheads (Lace Harding for DA4 please)
- I don't really see much point (to me personally) in endless crap to put on your head/body so I tend to dress light.
- Though if I'm in a cold location, or hot one, I will dress accordingly, that's part of being in the zone.

Took my first trip to Whimsydale in Diablo 3. Wheee! I think I netted about 2m gold between the coin drops and all the loot I lugged back to sell (I made several trips ). Finished a level 6 greater rift - I'm slowly working my way up the ladder. Haven't seen a dramatic difficulty spike yet but I'm sure I will eventually. Still not sure about the chapter 4 combat req'ts. We'll see how I keep managing as I increase the GR levels. Hurray for Whimsydale! If - while doing GR - you somehow manage to get full set, you shouldn't have problems with early Torments

Diablo 3. With 4-set bonus, I upped difficulty for some chapter 4 challenges. Had to swap my favourite Lyndon for bonus survivability that Kormac gives. First to Torment I for Rift, then - after using my key on Greater Rift 13 - to Torment II for Urzael kill. Before I jump to Torment IV I decided to farm a bit, because I still have rare weapon, as well as shoulders and rings that are not even lvl70. So back to Torment I to do some good old farming.

(Re)Played Shadowrun Returns. At the Universal Brotherhood compound (pt1). Elf mage.
Then played abit of CK2, as a Greek Catholic patrician of the republic of Amalfi at the earliest starting date. Byzantine emperor got into loads of wars, including losing Sicily during a civil war. Then my doge, who I still haven't manage to out-prestige joins the independence faction. Then Sultanate of Africa declares war on our land, wins... and game over.
Now, I'm reading a book while waiting for banter in DAI.

She looks good Curious Crow but can you give her a patch then she'd look really badass!!!! Thanks Do you mean like a pirate patch? I think this is the only pirate patch in the game. It's a bit too expensive for me now, but got a little preview of it. I do like how it looks, but I do like seeing both her eyes a bit more. Did also find a mask I quite liked, so that was nice. --- As for what was done did: Escorted my crush through Witchwood and then went and patched Valmiro up at the various places he fell. The latter was very appreciative, giving me like 4 gifts in a row when I talked to him back in town. So that was nice. Also played a bit of Baldurs Gate, but I still got the Ironman in my head and as much as I want it, it's just not happening. But at the same time, when my toon bites the dust I just loose all momentum in that save. So bleh. But still had some fun. One of the saves ended with Xzar finishing off the hobgoblin that killed the whole team, juuust before the game over screen popped up. He did made it clear he didn't give a damn about any of us, so it was fun imagining him grabbing what stuff he could carry and go off on his own adventure.

Kingmaker My protag succeeded in her tasks and is pronounced Baroness of (drum roll) Obsidian Fires (name is player choice). I'm pretty sure I'm going to flunk in building up a glorious city because I have no idea what I'm doing. I've got all the posts filled, by companions btw, except treasurer...seriously, no one wants the job as treasurer?!! This is going to be interesting. I like the tour around the place. It's brief but it saves time directing the avatar to run all over the place. Too, progress of the city is visible on the hill. I hope it will show appropriately. I hear the time period from the founding of the barony until the end of the story is five years.

Diablo 3. Soon after my last post I got my first Rainbow Goblin this season. Hallucination ... Whimsydale time! Then I jumped to Rift and... am I still on mushrooms? After getting rid of mushrooms remains, I finished 11/12 chapter 4 objectives, with only Greater Rift 20 left. Today I finished that last objective and now I'm 12/12 chapter 4 and enlisted to Slayer. So... time to farm bounties and legendaries to be able to complete Tal Rasha's Meteor build.

Finished Tomb Raider before I upgraded to Win 10, so this is all still DX11.
Cosplay!
The old 'run forward to trigger a cutscene' trick. I died a lot trying to figure this one out, was really annoying.
Hugely enjoyable boss fight and ending. Bye Lara. I failed to record somehow the post credit scene. It assumed me greatly to see how much typical Englishness they could shoehorn in. "Lovely!"

So lets see here:
In Madden had a wail of an AFC Champsionship game. Was doing a fair bit of dominating the San...Los Angelas Chargers. It was like 31-3 going into the fourth quarter but then the Chargers went about scoring something like 35 points. Fortunatley Brady and Edelman connected for two fourth quarter touchdowns of their own to give me a 45-38 win at the last moment, Los Angelas did like score on the final play of the game which is always weird.
Over in Far Cry land finished up with another couple of story missions and another couple of outposts. I did the first real Shangri-la mission introducing the place to Ajay through the Thangka, which was...frustrating without any friggin ranged weapons. But on the bright side I did finally unlock my homestead so I now have access to...among other things...the garden there.

Played loads of Baldurs Gate, except I kept dying and restarting so no real progress was made.
Had one fun encounter with a Fighter/Mage/Cleric half elf (figure he wanted to a be a bard but couldn't sing to save his life so took the closest option). He went hunting for an Ogre, since he'd managed to bring down two Ogrillions and oodles and doodles of hobgoblins. Stripped his armor, since one hit from an Ogre would kill him regardless but he could at least cast a few spells without armor. So one magic missile, then start to kite the Ogre. Go back and who should spawn but a wolf. So kite him too. End up getting pushed further back and a gibberling joins the fight. So the half elf runs across the map, loosing the Ogre but the wolf was hot on his trail. Get's cornered and makes a last ditch attempt and casts burning hands from a scroll. Wolf hits him for 7 of his 8 hit points, but then falls due to the scroll. Then the bloody gibberling appears and smacks that final one hit point before the half elf could swallow his healing potion, ending that attempt.
So tldr: went hunting for an Ogre and got done in by a Gibberling.

Still working my way up Greater Rift levels - just finished level 9 and had a better time than on level 8. It really depends on what maps you get, I think. Some have straight corridors and not a lot of winding about, while others twist and turn every which way to slow you down. Still others are more open spaced so you can get attacked from all sides if you aren't careful.
Scored another piece of Tal Rasha's set from Kadala - I think she likes me. My damage number shot up quite a bit (from ~265K to 316K) after I got some better equipment drops so I think I'm ready to start tackling the rest of the chapter 4 challenges now. That will be tomorrow though, since it's bed time today.
