I've got my new wizard up to level 25 (sucks I have all this great loot stashed away but it's mostly for level 60+ ) so I'm working to get back there. I added a couple items to increase my XP gain, a gem for +33% and Cain's level 21 set for +50%. Just did bounties today, no rifting.
I also made my first trips to The Vault. The first time was kind of a waste (though it was proof of concept on how to get there) because obviously loot drops are based on your level and game difficulty, so my level 20-whatever wizard on Normal didn't quite hit the jackpot. So, I decided to try again with my level 70(15) witch doctor while upping her to Hard. Got way more gold and higher level gem drops, so that trip was more worthwhile. I have another puzzle ring to use later, and I'm sure more will turn up too.
I say, after having damage #'s above 300K, going back to the likes of 20 was very traumatic. I think I've got her up to over 300 now but it's still a long way from where I was.

Does FRAPS always crap out on Win10 for you? I have it auto start on Win10 and it usually has an error once in every five starts saying Direct X 9 had an issue initialising or something. I just restart it manually and its fine. Yep. It's really temperamental and doesn't seem to work with dx12 at all.

Fifa 19 being released, Fifa 18 was free with EA access, so I took it as well. Just had to wait one year instead of paying 70 euros lol. Wow, I am absolutely loving the concept of having content like an emotional and very personal story in a football video game. With rpg elements and customisation by the way. What a good idea. Really enjoying it. A powerful story for a football video game, I'm not kidding. ( Won the cup in America today. )

Going to state the obvious just in case but have you set it to run as administrator on the desktop icon? Yep of course. I think it's a dx12 issue as i can (usually) get it work on mass effect in compatibility mode, but not for SotTR. So I'll just for ease stick with shadowplay - it captures a better quality anyway.

Jotun: Valhalla Edition. Whoops, I forgot I started this game My initial confusion after starting the game turned into realisation that some points of interest were marked on map. Aaaand once I realised that, I had to get the ones I was missing. I started with 1/5 runes gathered and 2 zones not fully cleared, now I'm 3/5 with 3 zones associated with them cleared. I loooooove style of this game. And the story that slowly unfolds. Hah, I'm not running with 10% hp all the time! Progress!Diablo 3. I started campaign, hoping for some legendaries, plus I want to get rid of asterisks above Tyrael's head in adventure mode. I haven't done much, just a few quests in Act I. I'm also watching AC: Odyssey and have to say, I really need to get this game at one point. Alexios alone is worth it.

So decided to pop in Madden once more to play a quick game and it actually worked out pretty well. Even though Brady did pass for 432 yards and three TDs with no interceptions for a 140.8 QBR I really got my ground game going as a nice team effort to win the game. As a team I managed a combined 127 yards from scrimage for all my backs, Dion Lewis led the way with 26 carries for 88 yards and 4! touchdowns. He had such a heavy workload that I took him out (as well as most of my starters but I usually make sure to at least take out my starting half back if they have around 20 carries) and swapped him for Jeremy Hill. Hoyer came in for Brady then Hogan and Amendola also came in. That is when the game got interesting of course as the Saints offense finally woke up and quickly put 14 points on the board. I did counter with I think a field goal and a TD as Hill punched it in for my 5th Rushing touchdown of the day. All and all I almost had a fifty/fifty split between running and passing plays and moved the ball incredibly well.
Sadly though it seems somehow I get more people hurt as a coach then I did as Brady, both Flowers (on the defense) and Fitzgerald are out with injuries over a month and I'm only two weeks into my season.

Carried on new game+.
One thing I have noticed is just how quick you can get through the game when you are not doing the whole Tomb Raiding thing. Also, I really like little details like this, which are easy to miss:
Her reaction to the initial flirting - an odd mixture of happiness for him and maybe sadness?: Awkward over eager attempt to get him to stay: Really cheesy fake grin when leaving, leading to suddenly serious as she turns away: Marvellous. In fact the whole facial expression work is quite something on her:

Played a bunch of Dragonspear today. Even got to a castle with the same name. Or well outside it. But a few spoons and a determined will will get me through. Hehe. Highlights were enjoying the hooded mans voice, telling a nice story and finding the "Ool" and chuckling like a five year old at them noting that there was no P in the name because they didn't want any.

Today my character, Lorth became the General Lorth, of the Minutemen, promoted after their first victories. A new self-proclaimed Sheriff in the Commonwealth. Ridiculous ! he thought as well. Not for the others however. Chosen because he was obviously a leader in spite of him to them, a hell of soldier, a veteran. The most effective, the most ruthless and cunning among them. Of course not chosen because he was necessarily the voice of reason, the most exemplary, the most moral... or a passionate dreamer, or an idealist.. or the most altruist, ... or the most generous with a lot of principles.. Obviously.. They still needed a guy like him however. Former bandit ,he knew how to fight them and what they were capable of. Yes : This is the Commonwealth ! This is what they have chosen to fight ! Fucking animals ! Supermutants and Bandits everywhere, strong, powerful, without limits. A new war begins. A war that was started by the Minutemen, and Lorth, ironically a former lone raider, started it ! Time for him to become again the man he used to be in the former Commonwealth. A good guy, a patriot, devoted to his family and his country and willing to fight for what he believed. Though he doesn't believe in anything anymore, doesn't have anymore a family, couldn't be exactly called a good guy after everything he has done, vulgar shadow of himself... But the results are there. He remains good at killing. No laws. No Judgments. No mercy. Only blood and death. Reprisals, brutal frontal attacks, lightning counter-attacks, relentless discrete eliminations, muscular defenses massive artillery bombardments throughout the whole territory. Also Curie, who admires Lorth's latest efforts to be a better man, has also taken the time to discuss with him in a moment of calm the evolution of her feelings, and is particularly concerned about the misplaced comments around her physical appearance. Appreciative and salacious comments from other folks in cities according to her, from what she can hear. It makes her blush and she does not really understand why they do that. Lorth replies that it's perfectly normal for people to comment on her physical appearance, - she's hot and deserves them -, and he advises her to not mind with a large and sardonic smile. She blushes suddenly, stammers clumsily, and prefers to withdraw, overloaded with strong emotions. In spite of her awkward behavior she really seemed to appreciate that last comment. At the same time, things are not going well with Cait since he became General of the Minutemen. She disapproves of all the selfless actions of Lorth, they quarrel more and more often. Not good. No more sex between them, except when Cait can't help but jump on him, suddenly excited, after some fights. But it's no more like before when things were simpler between them and overall.

AC Odyssey I bought it because female protag. Nah, I bought it to have real time combat and mush keys. The world map is huge. I'm taking my time exploring each zone that is open and not go chasing every rabbit. So far I'm enjoying it. The dialogue and story are not so great but not so terrible either. The "romance" interest me not at all; no depth to the char. They need to get better writers. I can see the protag not having a single romantic or is it bed encounter by the end of the game. I'm not overly concerned with that. Plus points to this game; No loot animation. Able to loot on horseback. Horse runs like a horse should. It auto trots in village / city or passing a fort. It will auto speed up once out in the wilds. Protag can climb anywhere. Be it a house, a temple, a hill, a mountain. Can swim underwater and fight sharks. I'm playing Kassandra btw, not the guy.

Started the expansion Beast of winter in Pillars of Eternity and I have to say, despite the good quality and all I find it immensely boring. Maybe its just my fault and its really good but boy, for me its dragging and I really have little motivation to continue with it now that there are the fetch puzzles.

Some more flying with the P-51D. Today, they forced me into the TF-51D, the trainer two-seater variant. Was sad to realize that I can't look over my left shoulder for the fuselage tank meter. It's been replaced with an instructor. So I took part in some common training with a class not yet as advanced as mine, doing formation flying and low-level flying. In the end, the rookie with us almost managed to slam it into some buildings and turned his prop into a lawn mower on landing (bent prop). I parked next to him and shut my 'Stang down. Good times. steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/950715002201968237/7FBE22B07E229102FBB4B9EE70BA507530F0A3E3/(The landing gear is a visual bug) After we were done with that, I went back to my very own P-51D and had some more gunnery training versus target tugs. Scratch two converted 51Ds!

See, the thing I like about this game is that basically Lara - while trying to do her best and what she thinks is right - basically lurches from fuck up to fuck up, until she has that moment of catharsis in the oil fields. This is so much better than the previous two, and the original 90's ones - once you take off the nostalgia glasses that is. I really hope it did well sales wise, it deserved to.

So wrapped up Dragonspear. All in all, I found it very enjoyable. Only complaint I'd have is how the banters were presented, mostly because they tended to fire right before I left the area or during combat, where I could neither hear nor see them. Otherwise, had a grand time. Normally I would import to BG2, but mr. Mod cleric doesn't have content for that, so I'll probably wait for him. For a while at least. Some spoiler-y musing. As in massive spoilers for this one and BG2. I really liked how the ending played out. Getting to spend time with the Hooded man and having him slight me personally gives me more of a reason for going after him later. I do like Imoen, but for a character who chunked her in the second area and is generally a coward when it comes to wizards, it never made sense going after him. Going as far away as possible on the other hand...But now his shenanigans cost me access to Baldur's Gate and Sorcerous Sundries and that cannot stand! Granted in game I'm never going back there, but character wise it's a horrible barrier.
Also that ending was kinda wicked. I have bad experiences with them demons so being teleported to that place was absolute horror. But the game had bolstered my morale, so the fight was not : "Oh no I can't do that...I'll be hours here and making no progress :C" but "Oh snap that's scary, but I think I can do dis, just need some better tactics!". So that was real nice. So since BG2 was on ice, I decided to roll a new character. Well, not new, she had been started and failed and even wrote about her here, the chick whom Xzar didn't give a damn about. But then she was Shae and now she is Carcaryn Goldweaver (I really love last names since it's hilarous to hear all the npcs speak her full name all the time. Like usually they be "Carcaryn do this" but now they have to say "Carcaryn Goldweaver do this". Probably not as funny to anyone else, but I'm having a riot). She also has a custom portrait, so that's nice. So she's an illusionist/thief gnome and I was pretty amazed at how many skill points I scored. Then once I'd set them up I had a good laugh since I was rolling a character for Dragonspear but not the base game. Should have figured something was up with 120 skillpoints instead of 40 hehe. Only pity was that I rolled 93 ability points, so losing them was a bit of a bummer. But managed to reroll a 92 in the proper spot, so it's all good. The missing one got to belong to that lovely tome of Charisma. It's wasted on anybody else and I do not like certain uneven numbers in this game. Like 17. It's so close to 18 so why not go all the way? Granted in her case it's 15 to 16, but still, same point. Anyway. Did mostly low level stuff with her to get her settled. Got one dialog from a commoner how regular iron things were also breaking, which makes the crisis even more bothersome. Like your eating a meal and then yay the fork snapped in half and now you got a chocking hazard in your steak! Or whoop the bottom of your tankard fell out and now your pants are soaked. Fun times. Ended up getting her outside the big Bandit tent. Not feeling any ironman tendencies, so the war dog, ettin and two bandits killing her did not trigger any need for restarting. So that was nice. Bandit one was actually funny because he was hiding behind a tent, let us rest for a night then one shot my character as she went out for a bit of lockpicking. Like polite, but still rude. Would probably have played more if not for that pesky Monday. But had fun.

Aaaaghg damn RNG indeed, just did a battle in ACOD and it guaranteed an epic item, what did I get an epic damn pair of braces, the only gear item I have that is a higher status "Legendary".

So in a very rare feat of gaming pique and because I wanted to try out the sound system of the house we are sitting in today I managed to play no less then three! video games.
First off all in general terms Madden! I have taken up the Patriots to 7-0...so...shit I guess four games played since last time. I was actually pretty heavy or pretty even between run and pass the first two games, Dion Lewis continues to get into the endzone at an accelerated rate, now at 9 rushing touchdowns on the season...but the next two...Brady went off. 560+ against the Bucaneers and 460 or so against the Jets and now is up to 22 TD passes for the season. In the curious case of contract negotiations I was dealing with Daniel Amendola, he wanted three years and I only wanted to give him 2, but I gave him a boatload of extra money...and he didn't like it and said that he was going to do Free Agency next year, so I did what Bellichick does best and banished him to the Cleveland Browns...for Josh Gordon. Sadly I did have to give up a higher draft pick then the Patriots did IRL for him as well but now he is on my team. Also the injuries continue to mount up. But on one spefic play...wish I got the replay to confirm what I saw but I got soooo lucky. It was either a pass to Josh Gordon or Brandin Cooks a member of the Bucaneers somehow was able to get into coverage of the ball just as I threw it...but instead of a pass interception or a deflection the defender ducked! to avoid Brady's bullet throw. Gave me a good chuckle, don't think the reciever even got too far but man that was funny to think that Brady made the guy duck.
And finally over in Ghost Recon Wildlands I fired it up and was surprised but not surprised to see a new mission up for me, based on Rainbow Six and a crossover event with that game. Haven't finished all of it but it was really fun to. Also been going around La Cruz to get the final medal to max out my detection (Ie the ability for enemies to avoid seeing you) and also did the mission with Ramon Feliz in it. All in all quite happy with my gamin today.

I killed The Heresiarch in Hexen, playing on the Fighter class on Beserker difficulty
Not so easy it has to be said. The Heresiarch is a very annoying boss who becomes temporarily invulnerable for around 30 seconds by means of a kind of shield that goes up around him that causes all your attacks to be deflected back at you (often fatally). You're supposed to know when he's got his shield up, because there are three cubes that float around his head, each a different colour, and the blue one signifies his shield. Unfortunately I'm colour blind, and his other cube is purple - which to my eyes looks no different to the blue one. He's always got either blue or purple up - but I cannot tell the difference. I have problems like this quite a lot in some video games.
So for me, defeating him is generally more of a case of trial and error, coupled with dumb luck. Got him eventually after around four attempts, but it wasn't easy. Playing him on the Cleric class is a pushover, because your flechettes can harm him even while invulnerable - and the Mage can just snipe at him from extreme range, using his basic wand, which uses no mana - he'll die eventually. But not for me these cheesy tactics! We rise to the challenge and overcome difficulties - rawwwwr.
Have to fight the sodding thing again at the end of the next hub too. Joy.

Well I'm deeply hooked by The Division these Days. Yesterday I finished the mainstory, even though there are gaps since I haven't picked up all phone recs, incident reps, survival guides etc yet. But it is a really nice backdrop and atmosphere they have built up. Also started up the spooky underground. To Think IF they gave the protagonist a voice, some choices and dialogue... Anyway, I'm really liking the endgame as well. With survival, underground, incursions, west side, Dark zone and high value targets you can pick and chose what suits you. Solo or co-op? Why not both?
