Second hardcore char is now toast, so I guess I'm done for this season. I created a regular seasonal necromancer and it still shows season progress the same but I have none of the benefits of having done any of it. Which is dumb. If I have to start everything over from 0, I should start from 0 on the season achievements too. I can't even get a set for a different class under this system. Oh well, time for a different game, I think. Yeah, I don't understand why hardcore and non-hardcore characters share seasonal progress. They don't share anything else, yet that one important thing? Of course.

Where's the mega carriers? I thought those were supposed to be included with the squadron update.

WoW Battle for Azeroth. Warfront rolled in for the Alliance again (a few days ago actually, but haven't played much since then except auction house relisting), so I tried my luck in getting plate pauldrons from quest reward (item level 370). I have to get them, they're perfection No luck this time, though I got 370 boots and cape on two different characters. So now I have helmet, boots and cape from that 370 set... *sigh* I still have long way to go, especially with only having one shot per month. I have two plates, which makes it two. Yaaaay? ... I feel like I should level more plates if I want to finish that set. I also realised Hallow's End starts in a few days, which means daily Headless Horseman again and crying every time I don't loot the mount!

Yeah, lesson learned. No more hardcore seasonal characters for me.

Carcaryn Goldweaver continued her journeys in Baldur's Gate 2. Did restart her game after mucking around in Athkatla. Had been feeling unhappy about how things were going and was wondering if I'd run out of steam for Baldur's gate. So decided to try if restarting was the charm like in Dragonspear. Also had a bit more legit reason as in the Golden Pantaloons did not import properly and I do want to see the conclusion to that story line one day. So got them imported proper and this time she was tactful enough not to have Jaheira running off whining and Minsc was not a moron who killed himself by fighting a doppelganger inside the stinking cloud... Apparently I still had quite some steam, since the session ran long. Going to put it in spoilers, because of spoilers and brevity. Grabbed Viconia and then Minsc demanded to go to Umar Hill's despite Goldweaver telling the brat to shove off. So they went to Umar Hill's to get some hero points. Another brat gave them reason to visit the hunters hut first, so the stop was fairly short. In the dungeon they grabbed Mazzy and there was the cutest little moment when she was killed and Minsc was all "WE WILL AVENGE YOU!" and then once we revived her Yoshimo told her she was an adorable miniature profit of doom. Alas, she left us after we finished the mission, because Goldweaver will not honor some fools sacrifice and game didn't let her be indifferent. Like do what you must and I'll be in the corner vomiting. So Mazzy left in a huff, but left me feeling a bit more interested in running a Charname with her. Then we returned to Umar Hills and promptly lost those hero points by brutally murdering the Major and his wife as he resisted our fondling for more cash money since Carcaryn felt slighted over doing all that for paltry 100g. Granted she'd get like 5000g for selling the stuff she'd never use, but principles.
Then returned back to the Coronet and killed the owner for not giving us the good stuff. Hendik on the other hand was a reasonable fellow. Grabbed Korgan and did his quest. On the way Nalia assaulted us and that jerk Jaheira pulled a Minsc and promised our services. So after appeasing Korgan we went to Nalia's keep. Switched Yoshimo out for Nalia and went and looted the place. A lot less trolls in there than I remembered. Like there were none in the audience hall. But that was fine. Him there final Troll didn't even half kill anybody. So double fine.
Once done with that Korgan starts whining about Valygar. Like dude you weren't even with us when we grabbed that quest. But since he's out Tank we go and fetch him in our bag. Then ask for more cash money from the Cowled Wizard and instead of relenting the sucker teleports away. Either way, Krogan shuts up about the quest for now.
Go to Windspear Hills to grab Mod NPC. Not much to it except that there was a ridiculous number of Vampiric Mists this time around. Like we killed 6 or 7, unlike the 2 we had to deal with last time. Either way, nab him and bonus npc, switching out Minsc and Nalia. Head canon is that we send them on their own dejemma to do good and stuff. Explore further in the ruins but our plans are ruined by vampires. Damn bloodsuckers. So leave with tail between legs.
Back to the Copper Coronet and go Sewer hunting. Massacre the hostiles in the ship at the end of the tunnel and get 2 hero points. Which is good, because we'll be losing them soon.
But first, Planar Sphere. Entrance fee is Valygar, which leaves us with more space for loot! The sphere itself was fine. Biggest problem was the Golem room, which was just ridiculous. Tried to use both entrances and there were like 7 golems. So made do with one and three golems. Still, what the heck. Demon on the other hand was not a big issue, which was nice. Did not set up real estate just yet, since I don't know if I want to be with the mages or the thieves guild. Mages have magic, but thieves have Bloodscalp. And I do love me some Bloodscalp.
So while we ponder we attend a wedding. Switch Jaheira out for Dorn, since we are reaching her breaking point either way with out shenanigans. Sow a bit of discord in the family, blackguard duels the priest and then everybody dies. Korgan even spilled out this gem: "Of course they gotta die. Got any other shocking plot twists you wanna share, or can I get to work?"
So continue playing on and meet the consequences of bad behavior. And that consequence beats me up and steals the lunch money. Just after we donated large sums of money to the Crying God. So reload a bit back and give all that gold to Talos. Maybe he'll spring some lightning for us?
Still, better safe than sorry so the group fled for Trademeet for a while. Dealt with their problems by letting Cernd go one-on-one with the enemy. Then told him to bugger off. Forgot about the kitty (or well, I remembered where it was just didn't remember what role she played) so had to go back and get her. And now we are the Heroes of Trademeet and supposedly welcome no matter our reputation elsewhere. Which is good if we decided to take a little bloodbath later on. Hehe.
And ended the session there. Some shopping to be done in Trademeet and then time to check out the fad of plucking your eyes out.

So with some sadness I gave up on Farcry 4...it just wasn't clicking...
And started up Fallout 4 instead. I wanted to do this because A. Always did want to start a new playthrough of FO 4, and I suspect I am going to be really busy in the new year with like maybe three new games in a row...maybe a lot more actually and as my fiancee pointed out it is 'nuclear November'...well close enough to my purposes since I am expecting it will take me most of the month to finish. Curiously she too is starting her own brand new PT.
So didn't do too much other then mess with the character creator, Rachel only went home and now she is off to Concord.
And FO 4s CC...sucks, another sucky CC. This one deals mainly with there being no real way of telling what the extremes are for each one of the facial features, minus the body sliders at least, and you know one of the things I like doing is establishing the extremes, what said feature looks like either pushed up one way or the other...and there was no way of telling that...and it was weird that the body sliders also really didn't work.
Other than that and of course the combat being wonky (VATS covers up bad combat), it did feel nice playing the game again. We will have to see exactly how things go but it does feel good to be playing the game again and already enjoying trying to feel out Rachel's character.

Carcaryn Goldweaver had a bit of a mod issue so the session was a fair bit shorter than last time. Spoilers have spoilers, whining and some unmentioned cheese. (Shield of Balduran vs. Beholders. Cheesy goodness ahoy!) Managed to put an end to the eye plucking fad. No fun if they are doing it willingly, eh? Also need brownie points for better prices and less attacks. Killed Keldorn on the way there, old bugger was itching for a fight even if we told him that he should just step aside. So cash money for his arms and armor and his wife can find someone who doesn't stink of sewage.
Did manage to kill the big eye without using the rod. Wanted to save it for the Lich, but forgot he only has one faze and so ended up not using the rod. So decided to use it on the cult leader and was fairly disappointed with the result. Either way, the eyeless are now free to be killed on sight and everyone else is happy. Yay.
Decided to kill another lich since Viconia won't bring sunlight in our lives and the last Lich fight went way too well. Then after he took his dirt nap we decided to rest and then Dorn approaches Carcaryn to whine about having to do stuff to have his powers.
And boy oh boy are his panties wound up tight. So that exchange ended with the party chunking him since he couldn't take a joke. This is the second time this session he throws a tantrum (and both times he was ripped apart like the piece of paper he is). But am probably going to reload since I want to see his quest and I doubt I'll be bothered to recruit him with another character.
But that's for later since I'm not in the mood to tip toe around his fragile feelings.

AC Odyssey When pigs are against you, they're an annoyance. When they're legendary, they're a pain in the ass. However, when they happen to "work" for you, you can't help but be forgiving. I came across a spot where it kept spawning pigs. I had no idea what was happening when pig after pig kept appearing. It'd be nice to farm them but I've got better things to do than stay there and play pig roaster. Twice now the pigs have incidentally helped me when I was fighting mobs. Once was against a leader and another a brute. I just stood by and watch the mob try to kill the pig. I didn't let them of course, I shoot at them to help the pig out. Once they're down, the pig left. I let it go since it's such a nice pig. Then I land on an island with a hut and dead bodies. I was told to kill the alpha animal. I looked around bemused. er..alpha animal. I saw nothing but a bunch of roosters. It then dawned on me the alpha animal is a rooster. A bigger rooster. Pig hunt. There're more not in the image. It's pretty hard to convey the huge landscape.

I finished my AC Odyssey tonight with a 100% Completionist badge and a Platinum Trophy. The game was very satisfying. I look forward to playing it again, next time as Kassandra, after taking a break. My PT ran 140 hours 46 minutes. One does not simply jump back into that, or at least this one doesn’t. (Did I just fall into speaking Hanar?)
The first Spider-Man expansion just released releases Tuesday. When I physically recover from my Odyssey, I’ll give that a go. It looks fun.

AC Odyssey Attended a party. Kass had a choice; change into Athenian raiment or walk in in her armor. I chose the latter. She's there for a reason and it's not to have a good time. Came across a hedonistic loverboy who wanted to put olive oil on Kass . Nope. I was expecting the rug to catch fire or at best, this drunk would fall backward and land on it. Sadly, it did not happen. Having a debate with Sokrates. Time to leave, with great relief.

So continuing on with FO 4...
And I am having a serious merchant issue right now, I forgot how difficult it was to find a good merchant early in the game. And my inventory is getting full. I think what I want to do is sell a lot of my excess stuff and then get my character into some new gear after that, and hopefully start being able to get some good ammo so I don't run out. Trying to keep my character pretty stealthy in combat...also going to maybe try and do more with the settlement system then I did the first time, we'll see but rebuilding Sanctuary I was kind of poking around some of the options and I like the idea of having stores. I just gotta keep track of the perks that I want and work on building towards them.
I did trip the mission to go to Diamond City but I am not doing that now, my next real objective is try and find the Brotherhood of Steel. I know some of the other factions don't show up until you get the Brotherhood.

I found a Fallout mod for Hearts of Iron IV.
You probably know what I was playing the entire day.
First try as Mojave Chapter of Brotherhood of Steel didn't go well. NCR jumped me, educated them thanks to my Brothers and Sisters in the West Coast Chapter. Just as we were finishing, someone yelled "AVE, TRUE TO CAESAR" across the Colorado, and a massive OH SHIT happened.
Second try, actually managed to wipe the floor with the Caesar's Legion, with NCR's support. At the very end of the war, NCR kicked me from faction.
A liiiittle while after that, they lost ALL the territory they gained on the other side of the Colorado on account of pretty much everyone and their mother rising up againist their occupation.
All's good with the Mojave Chapter, we have agreements for our troops to come back safely.
Around the time everyone makes it back into spitting distance of Hidden Valley, a few things happen.
NCR declares war on the Mojave Brotherhood of Steel. Western Chapter invites the Mojave Chapter to faction. Elder Serza smiles and prepares to wipe the floor with the New California Republic.
The idiots literally declared war on a force that, even if numerically inferior, won them the war with the Legion. How? Well, turns out that Laser Rifles and Power Armor kind of melt Legionnaires. NCR service rifles? Not quite so much.

So knocked out two more quests today, both of them...well no technically three...but all of them centering around the Minutemen. I brought Jet to MamaMurphy, retrieved the locket from that one area and brought it back to 'Connie' and then went to Tenpines bluff to get them to join the minutemen...wait I ran into a random event too which I don't think happened in my first PT. I rescued settlers from Raiders and sent them back to Sanctuary.
I know I might sound like I am complaining about this game a lot...and that will continue. But I do like it in the end. I just wish there were more...quests...and less ambiant quests. I guess the intention of the game was to go out and find your own fun and do your own thing through exploration but I just wish I bumped into more people giving quests...a bit more direction to my open world wandering. Hell the map just seems so empty.
I am trying to also set up Rachel as a sort of stealthy non ranged Assassin. And it kind of worked since she bashed one raider over his head too. Also got her dressed in a business suit which gives her a 'Jane Bond' vibe.

Continuing to open up new zones. Kass is 43. I picked up a mercenary bounty and intercepted him. Then another mercenary showed up. I finished off the first then went over to check the second since he seemed to be standing still in the bushes. I thought he's spectating but nope, he went on the attack the minute he saw Kass. However, he chose a bad spot; we're standing on the slope of a hill. Boom went the Spartan Kick and he flew, almost like superman. Needless to say, he didn't survive the fall. Cleared a Cultist camp. While scouting, I observed the elite Cultist soldier taking a piss. Ok...oh wait, that name looked feminine to be a guy's. Oh well never mind. Took out the rest of the Cultist soldiers before facing the elite and that's when I realised he was a she because female voice. Um, why were you pissing like a guy? Took out a Spartan camp by the seaside. I had to drop into the water since that's the closest hiding spot. A Spartan soldier came up, he couldn't see me since a wooden board blocked his view and I watched him take a leak; pissing into the sea. Oh well, he didn't piss on Kass's head.

Over the past few days, I finally sat down and finished the Baldur's Gate trilogy run that I started back in January and set aside months ago so I could play Deadfire. My evil bard ascended to godhood at last!
It's actually the first time I've completed ToB and become the new Lord of Murder - I don't play Evil much, and abandoned my previous character at the end of SoA. (I don't love ToB the way I do the rest of the series, and for a while there I had a bad habit of killing Irenicus and then giving up.) Nice to see the epilogues for a crew I've never used before, at least.

Continued on in my adventures of Fallout 4. Continuing to try and refine what I want to do with my character and how I want to play her in RP and in Gameplay.
I was quite happy when traveling around the back country...Lexington I believe...I bumped into the military radio frequency of AF-95. I was overjoyed because I really was trying to find the Brotherhood of Steel. Which I did and Istarted their little mission and I ran into a bunch of Feral Ghols...I hate Ghouls. Anyways then followed Danse to find the transmitter...and got a reminder about why I didn't take him as one of my main companions last time, and won't this time. Got up to level 8. And I was quite pleased when I broke a code on a terminal...but then I died which sent me back to before the breaking of the code.

AC Odyssey Got spotted while doing a big camp in city. Climbed onto the roof of a temple and had a battle there. Killed two elites, the leader's guards, the leader himself (smartass thought his bow would do the trick), several other soldiers and a mercenary. Got a bounty that set two other mercenaries on my tail so I waited them out on the roof and didn't bother to go after the bounty sponsor. I observed behaviour of the remaining guards. AI behaviour didn't include climbing right to the highest roof so when the guards found the bodies that were scattered on the ground, they simply roved about on ground level. Same with the mercenaries. After several minutes, the guards began to clean up by picking up the bodies and dumping them in a corner; I could still loot them later. The dead mercenary they didn't bother though her bear sat by her body. Rather sad to hear him grunting softly, sounded sad. Still, I had to kill him since he would come after me anyway once I went to ground level. Warning ; spilled blood images and violence. And a more gentle but typical image. Had a funny moment when attacking a bandit camp. I spartan kick a bandit archer. She bounced against a rock or something and flipped into the air. As I watched her fall, we were on top of a hill, she was upside down and her legs were sprayed, she said gloatingly; I'll get you now. I regretted not being fast enough to snap shot that moment, I was laughing.

So my death count in FO 4 is now up to 3. THis character seems to be the unluckiest mo fo in the waistland. I was jusst in the middle of...well probably Boston considering this was very close to 'Diamond City' and shot a couple of Super Mutants and then MORE Super Mutants got into a firefight with Raiders where I heard the tell tale beep beep beep beep beep of the suicider getting closer and closer...but I couldn't have been seen, they shouldn't have known I was there...well it blew up...and I died.
The previous problem I had I actually solved quite engeniously. I got the system to open up first try and then, I did not notice this the first time, it let me fire off the rocket's engines burning all the Synths (and leaving Dance intact lawl).
In between that I rescued a Settler from a group of Raiders.
I am really enjoying using energy weapons this time, I decided to give it a try this time and its not a decision I am regretting, its neat, though I wanna put a scope on 'Righteous fury' or whatever Dance's weapon is come...and a suppressor on my pistol. And I may keep a shotgun for ghouls and shit.

I started playing Divinity Original Sin 2 in co-op.
My first old school top down tactical game experience ever. So naturally I have no idea what I'm doing and the controller mapping isn't making things easier. It was hours before I realized that the skill bar has several pages... I didn't know how to open the map for hours. I didn't know how to end my turn! Everything is ten times more complicated and confusing to navigate. Any question I had was answered with "I just click on it with the mouse." Sigh.
It started off horribly for me. My boyfriend who is used to these types of games and also played the game a bit when it was first released picked a rogue and quickly found a weapon in the tutorial area and then even looted a nice armor before I even found a crossbow hours later! I ran around in rags with a bucket for a helmet using my fists for about 5 hours! I was beyond useless. It annoyed me quite a bit how much more powerful his rogue was and still is...
I play a female dwarf wayfarer who goes by the nickname Mugshot. He plays an undead dwarf dagger rogue. The only thing I'm good at is casting a poison puddle that heals him. *g*
...oh, and basically escalating any conversation into battle because Mugshot is prideful, impatient and insensitive. Also, I may have looted the murder investigation victim on the ship by accident. Triggering everyone to attack which got rather ugly...
Despite the game feeling overwhelming and starting off very unbalanced I like the art style and quirky storytelling so far. We make slow progress. This is going to be a looong game.

Tested several Group-C cars at the Sugo Sportsland track in Japan in Project Cars II. I love that track, beautiful scenery, interesting corners, nice flow, looks so much like the real life version. As time setting I used sunset because its so pretty. In lap times all cars were max 1.5 seconds apart, the fastest being the ''Cat''. (Jaguar XJR-9). It was faster because turbo lag really plays a big part in that track and with its normally aspirated V12 it just powered through all corners no matter the RPM, and its also a nimble car with very good aerodynamics. A winning formula. Second was the Porsche 962, while a little lacking in engine power and having a little turbo lag it is an incredibly nimble and forgivable car, you can really drive it on the edge without immediately losing control. Last place went to the Mercedes Sauber C9, it is a little unwilling to go around the slow corners even with a really good setup and with its 900+ horsies punishes you immediately should you get adventurous with your right foot, but oh boy on the straights it takes off like a rocket.

Started Kingdoms of Amalur. Decided to go rogue for starters, though I might branch out into sneaky witch-thief territory later on. So far it's interesting. I was just awarded my first house (granted, in a town next to a forest full of homicidal spiders ) and thought that was a good place to stop for the night.
I vaguely remember some of what I've done so far in the main story from when I played the demo way back when.

I gave up on it after getting to another continent And investing even a little bit in all trees to unlock Jack of All Trades destinies seems to be the best from what I remember.
