dazk Gave the Washington dlc a try, but since you aren't singing them praises and the first three memory bits had me grinding my teeth, I'm going to put them on the back burner for now.
Going through Liberation before Assassin's Creed 4, because it was one of the reasons I was interested in giving this series a try and I need my fix of lady assassin's before hitting the deep blue sea.
Did buy the base version of Assassin's Creed 4 since it didn't seem to have a deluxe edition. So probably going to give it a try just the base game first and see how it goes. Is Freedom Cry any good? ---
Yeah the George Washington stuff just seemed stupid and far fetched to me, plus I was generally hopeless at the game play. You can always go back to it later. Play the main game first, you'll have an important character called Adewale on your ship with you when you get it and Freedom Cry is part of his story. If you like him during the game you'll probably like Freedom Cry, personally I thought it was good but nothing special. The biggest learning curve you are going to have in Black Flag is the ship combat. Things to upgrade first are your Hull and your Ram and then as soon as you can get Mortars, so you are going to need resources, its been a while but sinking other ships is I think the only way to get them and Steel will be hard to come by till you start sinking bigger ships. EDIT: when you get a ship to low health and can board them and once you have killed the requisite number of crew etc you can also choose to send the ship to Kenways Navy, doing this means you can send them on missions and that will earn you resources as well. If you want you can friend me on Uplay DazKRaptorSquad and there is an app you can still download for Black Flag to manage your fleet at anytime which is a great way to get extra gold and resources. I'll re download it and Uplay "Friends" can help make the missions safer or faster. Unfortunately I have just discovered that the App is no longer supported and as I have uninstalled it I can't reinstall it cause I got a new phone. DOH!!!I can't remember if Connor's ship The Aquila had the mechanic to hit "E" when sailing to use the telescope to view other ships and see what cargo they have but its a useful tool. I think if you hit another key maybe "E" again or "Q" it tags the ship you are looking at. You get an achievement for doing that but its also good for finding the resources you need sooner. Best tactical tip I can give you with the ship fighting is that you nearly always have the advantage of starting the fight. Sail up behind ships and Ram them then turn and broadside them with your cannons until you get your mortars. Then just mortar them as soon as you are in range and again try and ram them ASAP. It'll seem hard at first but you will get there and the faster you can upgrade your ship the better, get it to legendary and you'll be almost unbeatable. Forts will be hard at first but they have difficulty ratings, you have to defeat them to open the map but try and stick to the lowest level ones first. Key tip fighting them don't stop moving and look for the markers that will show where their fire is going to land. Good luck and have fun, Edward's a laugh and a rapscallion I think you'll like him and there are some other fabulous NPC's you'll get to do stuff with like Mary Read.

So started up Assassin's Creed Liberation today. And finished it as well. So I figure it's easy to guess whether I enjoyed it or not So there was a bit of dressing up, bit of business, adventuring in the swamp and murder. Lots of murder. Really liked the whole Persona deal. Lady persona gave me the gameplay I'd been hankering after Kenway, Assassin persona was just ridiculously fashionable and I liked being able to proper blend in with the npcs with the Slave persona. And they all had coloring options! Business was okay I guess, but I want all the money and I want it now. So was too lazy to really use it. Same with the trading in Assassin's Creed 3. Aint nobody got time for that. The swamp was swampy, but I liked running around in it. The crocodiles were a hoot, especially after the graphics were fixed since then it decided to accept my button pushing in the qte. Like after ten bouts of being tossed off the overgrown lizards back, I feel like my companion could have maybe stepped in to help? Ya know? The city was also nice. Felt the ones in Assassin's Creed 3 were a bit too big, so it was nice being able to get places in short times. The plot was pretty fun as well. Liked pretty much all the characters. Except for the raft, even if it was just a pile of wood, it was an awful person. >:C Do wonder if there is a bit more of MR. E in the future. Credit song was also amazing and I genuinely feel bad about accidentally skipping it. Since the other games just paused it if you hit esc, I though this one would too and that I could take a small break. But no, it skipped them. :C Luckily it happened on the second credits. Hehe. Didn't have many bugs, except at the bloody raft and it's bloody barrels and "Not taking damage in combat" is "Not going to happen". Had a bit of a graphical issue at the beginning, but asking the Nividia thing to optimize things fixed that. Didn't 100% the game, and probably wont, because the raft. But might load it up someday to get some collectibles, do some missions and just enjoy strolling about. But for now, I'm feeling pumped and ready for the next game. I found Liberation both great and incredibly frustrating from a game play perspective, trying to 100% the raft ride without touching water and jumping from raft to raft made me rage quit in an incident I am embarrassed about to this day.

You have to allocate ability points to make the "V" key work. In the inventory screen you need ti oclick on the "Abilities tab and you can allocate ability points to the ability that is the bottom right ability under Assassin abilities and looks like an eye in a triangle. The game I thought started you off with a point in there but I can't remember. Holding down the "V" button sends a pulse called Eagle Vision that highlights items like loot, resources etc. If you hit "V" then Ikaros will fly and you can direct him using WASD. So when approaching a camp say, when above the camp/fort/house etc you hold down RMB and he will identify the soldiers, Treasure and stuff you may need to loot and destroy like military supplies. If you left click on any of those things it will tag them but you can only tag one thing. Thanks dazk, it appears you do start with a point in it, and I did become the eagle at one point, but I didn't know what to do with it. Anyway, before I could get the money off the merchant, the mercenary attacked me. Then half the town joined in, on his side! He had some level 5 armor I can't use, and the townsfolk have no loot, only E to carry. Am I meant to try and hide all these bodies somewhere? i.imgur.com/nl8ruIH.jpgAnd another thing, when I was on the horse, it said press E to go to the marker, but when I pressed E, she just jumped off the horse. Edit: Also, where are screenshots kept? Online it said C:\Users\Username\Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey\Photo but I don't have that. It's the UPlay version, not steam. It tells me photo taken when I press F12 If you commit a crime in particular murder and someone sees it they will attack you and killing citizens is bad, kill enough and the game will ensure you die mercenaries become OP'd and I was even killed in a city by a bear that one hit me. In the original games if you accidentally killed a citizen the game would give you a warning on screen that this ancestor did not kill civilians and if you kept doing it the game would just desynchronise. Now they seem to have decided to put the bounty system in and allow stupid civilians with a piece of wood or a shovel to attack you, a fully armed mercenary. Best tactic if you get involved in combat with civilians is to run away and try and break line of sight and hide. Are you using Uplay's Photo Mode or some other software? Photo Mode stores them at: C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey\photos Note Photo Mode will post your photos to the map in game if you don't want that to happen you need to change the settings. You can view other peoples photos on the map as well its a toggle setting in the bottom right hand corner, I think its F3 when you are in the map to toggle it between all photos, friends photos or none. If you want to friend me on Uplay feel free and when I am playing you can ask me questions if you want to. My Uplay name is in my signature. EDIT well I should be but isn't showing: DazKRaptorSquadHave fun.

Is 6 or 7 OK? or should I start again. For the record, I didn't murder Talos, he attacked me, it was self defense. Are you using Uplay's Photo Mode or some other software? Photo Mode stores them at: C:\Users\yourname\Documents\Assassin's Creed Odyssey\photos Turns out Photo Mode is something different, the F12 screenshots just go to C:\Users\Username\Pictures\Uplay\Assassin's Creed® Odyssey Thanks for the friends offer, but I'm new to playing with a client, and the whole chatting with friends thing would just add another level of complication to an already complicated game.

No worries re the friend thing, if you change your mind just send me a friend request. FYI in game all that happens is you get a notification if you get a message on screen and you just hit SHIFT F2 to open the conversation.

Ravelle and crew are wandering around the wonder that is Baldur's Gate. I've got all city sections available via fast travel now. Learned that the party had been poisoned by the baddies we are chasing. I have both parts of the antidote now but I'm not sure how to use them? There are 10 bottles of one part but only 1 bottle of the other part so I guess only 1 person gets cured? I don't remember it being this complicated before so I wonder if the EE version did something to make it weird? Got a chuckle from telling this to a silly noblewoman after she complained about her mirror breaking: "That's 7 years bad luck for the mirror, plus another 10 for the metal frame." After figuring out the cure thing, it'll be time to head to the sewers on a mission for Scar at the Flaming Fist (local police). I did the first mission for him already, where doppelgangers are discovered at one of the trading houses. Found more of the buggers in another business house and cleared them out too.

Beat all the DLC for Spider-Man PS4. Liked it (the final JJJ blog cast was funny in the Sliver Lining DLC 😁).

First of all HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE !! Already a bounty olnorton that's at least a good start beware of the fire/poison damage that some of them ( mercenaries ) do. I on the other hand finished the main story line in AC Odyssey and to be honest i had no idea that i finished the game no credits only a line that said Odyssey end. Well in the last couple of days i had some really sad moments and a few happy moments as well i will put them in a spoiler A really sad moment was when Phoibe died i considered her as she was my own daughter. And no matter what i tried i could not bring her back with some of the other choices i could pick from. And about 30 minutes later there was a happy moment when i saw my mother again. I still have 3 cultists to kill so i will probably do that tonight and i haven't visited all the islands yet and there are still so many other things that i still need to do in this huge game. There are a few things that annoy/irritates me like when i sit on a horse and i am not going fast enough i will say ye-haw every ten seconds. Even in a forest where i cannot go as fast as i can i will still say ye-haw. When i stand on something for example a crate i hesitate when i want to jump off in a battle that can mean life or death. I jump off mountains that are a mile high easier. The resources for upgrading my weapons and armor especially later in the game are absolutely ridiculous. The only thing i do lately is killing animals and pick up iron and the rest that i need for upgrading my weapons and armor. Mercenaries are way to strong in this game if i cannot perform an assassination attack they all are at least for me boss fights. I much rather fight a Cyclops then one of those irritating f****** mercenaries especially when they use fire damage. Yeah i really truly hate them all but i think you'll already knew that. Here is something else that i will put in a spoiler I cannot really say that i'm a family person in this game first i kill my fake father then i kill my brother and finally i kill my real father hmm not really nice of me right. I'm not really sure how many hours i already put into this game but at least it's over the 160 hours so far. So there are still many hours to go when i finally really finish this game. Happy New year to you to @patricia If you have cultists left that means you haven't gotten your spear to Level 6 yet, is that right? Wow you made some interesting family choices and now you have missed out on this: I finished the main story a while ago but am still clearing things and am now at 230+ hrs. Thank you. Yes that is right i did not have my spear at level 6 at that time but now i do have my spear at level 6 because all the cultists are colored red now. True i made some interesting choices as i said before i'm not a family person in this game you on the other hand are a true family guy ... congrats. Btw who is that woman dressed in AC armor ? If i do start over this depends on the NG+ and what it contains i'm not sure if i will make another choice when it comes to my fake father and i can't help it but i do not like my brother one single bit. And one more thing you mentioned a while back that you finished the game at a 100% completion ... uh how ? I'm at a 60% completion ... what did i miss or is it not possible to get a 100% completion when you play on the easy mode ?

melbella I think you just have to make Charname chug the antidote and everyone should be right as rain, instead of having everyone take a sip. The one in EE should also have 10 uses in the single bottle, so you can also use it as a regular antidote later on, which is swell.

AC Liberation is one of my favorites. In how many other games you can play a woman that can seduce people only to kill them when nobody is seeing you?

No Man's Sky. Oh boy.
Remember me saying that the starting planet of my boyfriend was bugged? Turns out this is a VERY COMMON and GAME BREAKING bug where you randomly spawn at the center of the universe!
It can happen to anyone at any point in the game. The bug happens since NEXT, so this means it hasn't been fixed in 6 months. I assume the means it will never be fixed. Probably too messed up a bug in the source code of the multilayer.
So anyway, today it happened to me too. Then to our friend. Which means none of us could play. As long as you can join somebody's working save file you're "ok" until you log off. This is how boyfriend could play. He could never play on his own...
There are fixes out there. Problem is they require you to know the code of your planet which of course you cannot get anymore...
Fortunately I made a backup of my savefile today two hours before it all went to shit. As if I knew this was going to happen. Spooky. So I loaded it and managed to get the planet code. Too bad this fix didn't work. Lol.
Nor was a flag set wrong in the savefile's code like in most people's cases with the same issue. I'm talking about downloading a save file editor here. If you're on console, you're just fucked. Period.
OK, nothing was working for us. We were ready to abandon the game. Then we decided to cross-check my working save file with the corrupted one in this editor. And turns out not only was the planet code messed up but also the galaxy was wrong!
Just typing in the correct planet wasn't enough. After changing both planet and galaxy, the savefile was restored! Also worked for my guy whose savefile was shot from the start. Only minor thing is that the space station at the center of the universe is still selectable from any teleporter. And if I select it the game is broken all over again...
This serious issue is known as "portal interference bug". But this is actually not the cause of our issue. We haven't used a portal yet. So there seems something shot to hell on a basic level in multiplayer that results in this scenario for everyone regardless of mission progress.
I'm quite frankly shocked. I've heard nothing bur praise for NMS since the introduction of multiplayer. Nobody reported that the game is BROKEN now. And even if you fix it, it can and will break again!!!
Anybody who's just started playing or is thinking about buying it, be warned! Write down the code of one of your planets ASAP. You find the code by activating a signal booster. Without a reference point, you're screwed.
Man, I wasted three hours of my life fixing this mess. Or rather duct-taping it.
Fuck.

The woman in the modern day AC armour is Evie Frye from Assassins Creed Syndicate, if you have played it you can get her as a free reward from the Ubisoft Club Rewards. The 100% tracks completion of the family quest, the cultists quests and the Atlantis Quests. Once I completed those I got 100% but I am assuming that includes having done all the quest markers that are black and gold and have an exclamation mark on them as they are story related. Did you complete all those? Re your choices I respect you for them, I fought myself for a few seconds as I really felt I should kill Nikolaous but I decided I'd try and reunite them. Alexious and Kassandra's conversation the first time on The Adrestia is priceless.

I'm dabbling a bit in Atlas. I bought it when it's on sale in Dec and sat on it, brooding. I finally gave it a shot yesterday. The lag is no joke. It wasn't so bad at the freeport server but it became very noticeable the moment I set sail and enter another server. I'm giving it some leniency since it's early access, not a complete game. All the basic assets are already there, usable and workable. The devs just need to iron it out further and give it polish. However, I don't know how long I would play this. So what happened in the four hours in the game? * some moron accused me of racial profiling when I went up close to see his name. That's the bad thing about player names, the fonts are invisible until you see the player face to face. I ignored his nonsense and simply said I was looking at his name. Then he said I was racial profiling his name. I just went on my way. For all I know he could be a streamer role acting or trying to get some laughs from his viewers. Whatever it was, I couldn't be bothered to exchange more words with him. * was killed by a giant spider when I was ready to leave. ugh. I lost everything because the animals that attack you will gobble up the body. Restart on gathering all over again. * set sail for 30 mins and then discovered I was going in the wrong direction. I intended to join the late shift and know where their bases are so I turned around. When I popped into the next server a ghost ship was right in front of me. I crashed into it. Luckily, its cannons had no LOS because I was so close. The shots missed completely. I quickly turned the sail, caught a strong wind and high tail back into the other server. The ghost ship attempted to sink the raft but the shots missed since the raft was going very fast. Once I reached the other server, I followed the wall until I judged it safe to sail over. * reached one of the TLS bases. Saw another ghost shop but made sure I didn't go close to it. I doubted it's the TLS base because I saw another faction name on a sloop and a galleon with red and black sails moving out. After more chatter on discord, I decided to try for another base in another server. The lag was such that I crashed three times into objects, docked ships, that I had to stop to gather resources to repair three times. * finally reached the server of the second base. This time, the lag was terrible. The raft was floating in the air. I logged out and logged back in a few hours later and finally managed to reach the TLS base. Truly TLS because I saw the name.

So started up Assassin's Creed 4. So far it's alright. Will probably need to vent when Kenway the second starts jumping past rooftops at critical moments, but otherwise he's quite decent. Been wondering how he's related to the other Kenway. Or well, mostly just wondering if Connor found someone in the end. Because the poor guy felt a bit lonesome. I like Adewale as well, so now just to debate whether to get the season pass or just make do with his dlc.
Todays ponderings: Pity his voice wasn't more Welsh. Or well, actually I just want Irish, been watching this youtuber and when he brings out his Irish accent it's just marvelous.
IMOEN! Is this your revenge for me leaving you at Spellhold so many times? Also, you want me to power up the elevator? Well then sit down because this is going to take a while. I probably spent like 10 minutes real time going between menus before figuring to point the stuff at the wifi sign. Heh.
My poor hands. Or well, my poor pinky. Ended up remapping free run back to the mouse button and switching out the aim for switch. Because my pinky was spasming from the abuse.
I feel so attacked in the game. Granted I know the stuff in those chests wasn't mine, and maybe I shouldn't be stomping on peoples rooftops and probably shouldn't have infiltrated that heavily guarded military spot. But no need to attack me, rite? Hehe. Did get a bit annoyed at it in the beginning, but then I learned it's just easier to kill them all. Like I don't want to kill people just doing their jobs, but if I run they chase and wrap more friends up in their suicidal hunt. So just cutting their throats now will save more lives in the long run. And no, no, no not breaking the law isn't an option for this pirate.
Was nopeing so much about the plot. This would never work, it will backfire, ect. Then the mission right after that things went right as rain. Granted it did backfire, but lemons and lemonade and then wrestling with a boat. Was going to rage quit when the storm hit, then started chatting to my friend, one try before giving up and shabam! Made it.
A small break for the Sims, then back at it.
Got to do some more sailing and not sure if I'm getting a hang of it or not. I feel the game is kinda rubbish at explaining HOW you do stuff, but when you figure it out it's kinda smooth? Granted, I'm not looking at the manual. But I'm pretty even in the time I've sunk other ships or mine so, like, progress? But still, having fun so far. Curious about the plot outside the game, because I feel like one of the npcs was real familiar, but it could also just be reused assets. And well, I'm rubbish at faces. But something to look forwards too I guess.

I like to imagine that Connor ended up with Dobby Carter. Did you get the conversation with her and Connor in the pub where she hits on him?

Whatever it was, I couldn't be bothered to exchange more words with him.* was killed by a giant spider when I was ready to leave.
Several of those things you mentioned don't sound like fun.

I loaded the game up recently as Kaidan Fan and I were discussing stats for it. By the time I finished playing I had over 23 million Real/Gold.

Several of those things you mentioned don't sound like fun. That's the whole point to survival games. It's a test of patience and endurance. The last two survival games I dabbled in; Dark and Light, Conan, are not so bad where animals are concerned. If you're killed, they don't eat the bodies but it's usually hazardous when attempting to recover items from the corpse since the animals are usually around. It's the same for most mmos. Even way back to the early mmos like Asheron's Call. I remember the general calls for help whenever players went down at the dungeons and everyone would pitch in, gathered in a large group and went in to help recover the bodies. On the plus side, it showed the unity and generosity of the community. When new players asked for help to get down to the portal hub, help was forthcoming. If someone asked for a particular taper to cast a spell, etc, others were willing to donate the items or help buff players. There're always players out to make trouble. They're often found in all kinds of mmos. The best thing any decent player can do if they do run into them is to note the name and faction and generally avoid them or mute them. The worst aspect is that they band into a group and go around wrecking up other players. They are the worst sort. I want to join the late shift crew because this set of streamers are good people. Burke Black especially can fool around in games, role playing as evil buccaneer, etc but it's done in good fun. There's no intention to hurt or ruin other people's enjoyment of the game. I like him because he doesn't allow bad behaviour / words / politicking in chat, his mods police chat very well. He doesn't take offence when potshots are thrown at him for his appearance, his weight, etc. He makes fun of it. Bikeman is at best a little boy at heart. Always very naughty. But if anyone tries to muck around, he shoots them needles. He doesn't mince his words. Cream was once a professional gamer. He likes to sprout inelegant curses but a good hombre. GassyMexican is like BurkeBlack. ClassyPax is a true role-player through and through. He set off gales of laughter with his Bosun role on the galleon the other day. Mitauchi and Timrac are a little more serious and less role-playing but still good people. Generally, the people who sub to them would trend on the good side.

Have you looked in to whether Odyssey has the same problem with your Phenom chips? Yep, it does. Well that's truly F#$%ed. I was so looking forward to reading your posts about playing!!!!! Damn and its not like you can just change the chips either, cause I think that mens a new Motherboard as well and if that's the case you are better off just buying a new Laptop, had to that for my son about 6 months ago. <iframe width="23.96" height="4.68000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_63789621" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: -5px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.68px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="4.68000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_81285434" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1138px; top: -5px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.68px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="4.68000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_48531988" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 15px; top: 173px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.68px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe> <iframe width="23.96" height="4.68000000000001" id="MoatPxIOPT0_23425625" scrolling="no" style="border-style: none; left: 1138px; top: 173px; width: 23.96px; height: 4.68px; position: absolute; z-index: -9999;"></iframe>

Adventures in Maple World continue. After who knows how many tries, I've finally completed the worst Blockbuster (both in terms of mob scaling and story). Even tho it's baaaaaaaaaaaaaad, I was determined to finish it to get that sweet, sweet exp it rewards. So with that done and a bit of killing, I finally got to lvl200! ... Only to learn that 5th job advancement might take longer than previous ones. Well, back to work!
