I finished Control after roughly 50 hours of game play. That was a solid gaming experience. I enjoyed the story and the game play. Background lore was interesting, fun and plenty. The dlc's were interesting, although I fuess Alan Wake fans would've gotten more out of it. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable game.

Last DLC for Nioh 2 dropped! I just got done with it today too...Hated that Tate Eboshi fight, and she had to be fought 3 times. Anyways, I enjoyed Nioh 2 quite abit, aside from struggling with some boss fights. I might try and get all trophies, the only obstacle would be how tough Dream of the Demon is for the DLC missions. I liked Ren Hayabusa and Lady Tengu showing up, didn't like that they were a huge pain to fight though. In other news, I've started up Andromeda and Inquisition again to try and get new world states ready. My cousin has also been coming over and is going through Shadow of War (he finished Shadow of Mordor yesterday), and it makes me want to go through both of those games again.
Edit: I had also platinumed Shadow of the Colossus, and decided to get the sword of Dormin...had to look up where the 79 enlightenments, only found about 5 on my own.

97 hours later I finished Arthur's story. Really cool the game keeps going after the end in a kind of denouement. More games should do this. Playing as lanky Marston again brings back the feels. Didn't expect the story and characters to impact me as much as they did, as the writing isn't so much a case of being original or clever but just solid all around with amazing VOs. The banter between characters was brilliant and unlike Rockstar's other games, everyone seemed to have their own personality and distinct mannerisms. As for the open world design, it's some of the best that's ever been done. It'd be a 10/10 game for me if it didn't lead you by the nose through every mission and have seriously annoying design quirks that are a slog to get through.

Picked up Thronebreaker during a sale. Not bad so far, story has been pretty good. Some decent changes to how Gwent plays from the Witcher 3 as well. Got a nice party of all sorts of folks

I think I found the lady from the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer all those years ago.
The sidequest aptly-named "Bullets" has you going to a swanky clothing store where you can buy Corpo-themed clothing, only for a cyberpsycho to bash in and start blasting.
You fight the guy mano-a-mano for a few tense moments then MaxTac shows up.
In the front is a guy with a shotgun and a lady with perfect lips and Mantis blades. They take care of business (it's not tied to the Cyber-Sighting quest) and the lady asked if you enjoy the bloodlust.
You can agree or call her out. I've taken many lives, but only because if I had left them alive they would have continued doing things like selling drugs to kids or other depraved things involving children.
Yeah, some quests are like "I'm going to let you go, but I'll be watching", then I'll find out that old woman used an 8-year-old boy for a snuff film.
Then the shotgun comes out and I walk away from a smoldering wreck.
In situations like that there are only two responses: Violence and Annihilation.
Oi, some of these quest lines are DARK. I don't know that I'll ever be able to do a pacifist run. Here I was hoping to be a Batman, but I drift closer and closer to a Red Hood.

I'm...doing something a little ambitious in the sims 4 I saw some save games online from people deleting the entire world, including sims and lots, and rebuilding them from the grounds up problem is, most of those files require you to have all the expansions that offer new worlds. Which is something I don't have Currently I have access to the three base game worlds, plus 6 from expansions/game-packs...making a total of 9 worlds to play with. I've so far cleared out 4 worlds (one major one and three smaller ones) and will be continuing with doing so tomorrow I've also deleted all the npc families, with exception of Father Winter...and I plan on making new npc's such as the sages of RoM
it should be very...time consuming and chances are with my patience I'll end up deleting my progress half way through...we'll see how far we get

Immortals Fenyx Rising Little to no story progression on my part since last time I posted. Instead, a lot of training I'm also trying to keep up with daily challenges, to get currency for cosmetic items that get rotated weekly for purchase with in-game. You can also buy them with real money, but I'm not that desperate

Quantum ConscienceI finished this sometime last week. Three Love Interests, 4 possible endings. I tried all three romances. None of them really did it for me. If anything, I kinda liked Gray the Shadow, the being in your mind who becomes kinda needy and wants to be with you in your mind forever. And there are only two endings that allow that. The "Confused" ending and the Evil ending. I will never understand Crain or how I could have killed him. *shrug* Still neat and unique with the mind reading mechanic. Once Upon an Electric DreamI got through 5 endings in less than 90 minutes. MC's love was sentenced to death. She hatches some sort of Star Trek esque plot that has her putting herself in cryosleep to chase her love's mind/body into space after he's arrested and slipped off planet. There a problem with the plan in that the Space Prison he was in went off track, and her auto pilot ship then spent FOUR MILLION YEARS looking for it while she was asleep. They finally arrived. Insanity. There are two love interests. 1. Zero the android was a sweet feeling and I also liked the exploration of doubt. 2. Miel the plant man was complicated. Liked his VA for sure. Liked his loyal servant pining (har har, he's a tree person) sentiment towards MC. It's just the true ending with him seems to involve him seeding (har har tree person) doubt about whether Zero is still alive or if his mind files are corrupted, which is, what do the cool kids say these days... SUS. The fact that MC agreed to this concern, suddenly worrying about her own life, just threw the depth of her feelings for Zero into super shallow territory. A bit off considering how much MC sacrificed only to abandon the cause at the last moment. Additionally, Miel admits to inviting himself along for the ride of eternity without her asking. Which is kind of like, gentlest stalker vibe. Just a ripple. The voice acting was good, though a few lines were a bit wonky but nothing immersion breaking. I actually liked Miel's VA best, even if I didn't like his route as much as Zero's. Good appropriate music and acceptable art. Crimson MemoriesThe cover art is cute. It's 60 cents. Maybe it has mixed reviews but surely at 60 cents I can ignore some things. (Proceeds to read barely acceptable translation into English Script.) Okay, I can handle that. It reads: "fights back urge to hit him" Me: Well, probably another translation thing, she doesn't ACTUALLY have such poor self control It reads: "Remember the job two weeks ago that you lost because you beat the manager to the ground for touching your butt." ME: @_@ I mean...okay, that was the past so-- It reads: "WE must treat all customers at this cafe equally!" Manager "But he's gross"-- She punches him so hard he falls down. Me: SIGH. Turning it off and getting my 2 quarters back.

Haven't been playing much the last few weeks. Been pretty active in the Total War: Warhammer 2 community lately. Helping moderate a new streamer's channel and discord. His growth is great, went from 200 to 2000 in a month. Also been chatting in stream and discord with a couple other livestreamers. Started learning to use GIMP software and made some custom emoji's for them. Chaos God symbols for one guy, and I quickly made an icon for one streamers cat cause he's awesome. They've been hassling me to try Vermintide 2 so with the steam winter sale on I finally got it. Gonna fire it up shortly Looks like a fun multiplayer game. Hope it doesn't set my laptop on fire though. Also the game is friggin' huge. 100gigs. O.o

Another RA3 bit. 3-player map, 2-on-1. Me and an Easy against a Brutal.
An interesting strategy I sometimes use is one where I let my ally/allies do the fighting and I focus on support abilities and defenses.
In practice, I'll build base defenses and walls around my ally's base and hold various tech buildings (Hospitals, Garages, Airports, etc.) so my friendly forces auto-heal.
I'll garrison buildings and build support units, but tanks and bombers take a backseat.
It's a fun strategy, especially if one is looking for a low-intensity skirmish.

Finished up Thronebreaker. Enjoyed the story and it had some nice choice moments. Companions can come and go depending on what you do at multiple points so that was interesting to see. I did get tired of Gwent about half way through though, thankfully I only had it on the easiest setting so I could skip some of the longer battles. Not sure what I'll play next, perhaps try out Legion again now that it's had a few patches

Reflections ~Dreams and Reality~I played about half an hour last night. The prologue was a fairy tale, the introduction was just a bit...odd. and finally, I guess literally ALL of the Love Interests literally march their way to your door and attempt to strike a deal, through respect or seduction, for your magic ability. At the same time. They are literally all there at once, running into each other. This is about as natural as getting a group together for DnD and saying, "All 5 of you happen to be in the same tavern and a man walks up to you with a mysterious supplication for help!" Fortunately, the painful introduction phase is over, and I can get to the which one do I like?" phase. I don't know if they were trying to subvert expectations regarding the women, but both women have tried to take a bath with MC and MC is weirdly attracted to petting the third woman, so long as she is in Dragon form. Whereas the men are very unimposing (thus far.) I guess the women subverted my expectations, but by ascribing them an entire lack of manners and an almost predatory sexual interest... I am just as uninterested in them romantically as I would be if a male character had these manners and traits. So right now, my interests lay in Cat-boy, the childhood friend (mostly because it makes the most sense regarding not falling in love with a total stranger). Sho, the mystery boy who showed up through a portal but that actually offered something of equal value for my services, at least. Knight boy, the one of high speech who offered to help with the dishes. and lastly, the wolf-boy, who is coming off just enough blushy tsundere in a CG that he caught my eye. So anyway, I'll finish that. But I felt like trying to other cheap VN I'd grabbed this morning. My LadyI'd bought this purely on the high rating + cheapness factor. I didn't actually read the reviews (steam returns are easy). So I was quite delighted when the Butler was the Love interest I love me a butler romance. I named him after my hubs and proceeded to read out all the lines to my hubs. It hit all the boxes of forbidden romance trope plus the yearning and yum. The lack of expressions and poses are very well made up for with the excellent voice acting and significant enough romance CGs (two). The music is appropriate and non distracting. It was a cute bit of fluff. I finished almost all routes in 34 minutes. I spent $0.52! for this but honestly I've 6 times twice as much for longer VNs that disappointed me anyway. I didn't leave disappointed. OH YA- they also had this awesome mechanic where the MC recieved letters that told her how to get the happy ending, but they were in code. It was just genious.

Reflections ~Dreams and Reality~
Sho, the mystery boy who showed up through a portal but that actually offered something of equal value for my services, at least. Well, that was frustrating. It was very unclear to me how to get his good ending. After attempting a few reloads, I finally looked up a guide. This is a big complaint of mine with at least 50% of all visual novels. HOW do choices you make BEFORE he arrives have an effect on him re: liking MC? how do choices DURING your sleep/dream have an effect on him? Why is it good to tease him in THAT situation but NOT tease him in this second very similar situation? the world will never know. His bad ending really painted him in a bad light. He didn't even have the manners to pay you back for your hospitality or your magic to stick around long enough to even see if you'd wake up from the coma you went into FOR his benefit. Jeebus. I initially went with him as an LI because his background was the most "??" and I wanted to know his story, even if I didn't care much about smooching him. I really think "bad" romantic endings should simply default to Friendship endings and not "he didn't like you enough so he murdered you or abandoned you."

I once filled unused room with pink flamingos. Best decision of my Sims career. Loved how gloriously useless it was now I also know why I hardly ever played with fortune sims in the sims 2 they always want something new...the more expensive the better
my favorites were knowledge and family sims
never really did popularity or romance the former because...well, I'm an introvert and I hate having those 'make x friends' things and romance...'cause those are like...well...they cheat on people...I hate that one time I intentionally broke up two of my sims by having my preggers lady sim walk in on her fiance...I felt bad for her granted she should've known when she met him what kinda guy he was (I mean...I made him, to try out some less savory mods (you know the type ) but I still felt bad for her
I'm happiest just making a family and having them raise a family...I mean, that's fun
even if one of my toddlers was a true menace despite having the 'angelic' trait...I was half tempted to give him the evil trait when he grew up

Currently building a house using the build objects from Seasons...they're cozy
I buy expansions and stuff whenever they're on a discount...bought a few stuffpacks for Christmas (I already bought a lot during Black Friday)

Reflections ~Dreams and Reality~o. m. g. There was a sneaky poly triad ending and I about squealed in happiness. The drawback is they imply that MC is doing it out of a strange form of anxiety and that Blanq is only agreeing to it to keep her happy. BUT THAT DOESN'T STOP ME FROM LIKING IT. So rare there is ever polyamorous anything, and it was a two guy one girl V *huggles it, even with all it's implied problems* And they even discussed how they switched nights to share her, it was so relatable. I sent a screen shot to my boyfriend in India, and I'll tell hubs about it when he gets out of this meeting. Oh ya, I tried to romance the Ice Queen because she had this sort of vague "my kingdom is in peril" vibe about her that made me interested in getting that story. But then she was such a Sore Winner, rubbing it into the other options' noses that they hadn't been picked AND she just randomly kissed MC on the cheek to make it even more obvious and I was done. I also tried Cara the ex-mermaid but that was honestly so boring that I could barely read it. Hey, maybe mer-people don't bang like humans do, but they bang SOMEHOW and her innocence was just way over the top. So then I tried Blanq, and that sweet as Fudge Poly ending was considered one of his "bad endings" PSH. Then I reloaded with a guide to get his "good ending". I liked it, but we all know what my favorite was. Then I reloaded to try out Sol, the childhood best friend were cat. That was cute, I guess. Nothing bad about it, nothing amazing. I still wanna try Leo but then I think I'm done. (actually, funnily enough, i had meant to do him earlier and kept randomly choosing all the Wynn Were-dog options)
