Hanako, it happened. There is no point into continuing to waste your energy on it. Its not like they're going to change it anyway.

One thing that I find frustrating about Brotherhood is meeting certain requirements to get 100% syncing. I know I will have to go back to a lot of them after finishing the game if I want to get the trophy.

I'm not too worried. There's two or three of them that look like it will take a few tries to get 100%. There have been at least one trophy in every game I've played that have caused frustration.

I hate it when they do this (I've been sucked in before too), whipping something up using footage from little known movie(s), then presenting the whole thing as legit/semi-legit. Notice they snuck in the word "Concept" instead of "Fan" to try and obfuscate it?

Yeah I thought at first why is it that Chris Hemsworth in it and I haven't heard of it but when they obviously used game footage at the end it hooked me. then when I saw the IMDB page and there was no other information I got suspicious and found another IMDB page and it had Charlie Hunnam (from SoA) who I actually had thought to myself would have been a better choice, the hammer fell.

Ok, so I'm seeing Helix glitch and credits on the map for Syndicate. By credits, I presume I can collect them except that I see no way of doing so when they're in midair. I suppose I have to wait for a particular equipment. What about the glitch? It seemed to be on a tree.
I'm in Whitechapel by the way.

You will get it eventually if you follow the main story a bit further. Then you just need to find the spot from where to create a zip line to the object you want to get.

Will see how far this goes... lets tread carefully here. Its amazing how many replies i'm seeing on Twitter defending Ubisoft (dlc ending). Where were these people during the whole ME3 ending debacle? Good question. People really hate EA. I’m glad to hear that they’re getting some defenders to go with the hate. Criticism is justified and helpful; demanding people lose there jobs is asinine and petty. People make mistakes, and this one was made in crafting a video game. Their choices were poorly considered, but neither vindictive nor dangerously harmful. With all of the absolute horrors presently ongoing in the world, it takes a self-important jackass with blinders to go apeshit over such a small thing. Priorities: Some people need to re-evaluate theirs. Imagine if they redirected those passions toward helping people. We’d have an army of helpful voices. Sadly, I’ve heard more outrage over this stupid VG than I have over the ongoing nightmare in Yemen, to cite just one more important concern.

Look at the defenses and you’ll see the majority involve the defenders insulting SJWs in one way or another.

I agree with your philosophical point that it's best to maintain a sense of perspective over these things. The only observation I'd make over it being 'such a small thing' is that if you are a gamer whose gaming preferences are rarely catered to, then I can entirely empathize with how galling it would be for a game that does include it, only to whip it away again at a critical point. That makes it a much bigger thing. If a hetero relationship plotline doesn't work out for me in a video game, then there will A N Other game along in a short while that will. If a same-sex relationship is handled poorly in a video game, it's a much bigger deal because there won't be another one along shortly.

So what's this about Ubisoft having an ending with dlc thing? Before the game came out, a big part of their marketing was how you could make choices. This included romance and representation as it was the first game that allowed players to play as their orientation. Ubisoft swore that they would protect these two things and never force them on the players. However at the end of Episode 2 of the LotFB DLC, they did exactly that by forcing the player into a romance with Darius' kid that results in a child no matter what they players did. So the players are rightfully upset at the false advertising.

While here "oh, that's okay it's just the narrative they want to take." I think it's a bit more prevalent than mainly screwing over LGBT+ people because in general the ending is suggesting that no matter how you play your character, you're still going to end up having a baby with a specific character. Ubisoft did acknowledge that this was just a general narrative decision, but did admit in their apology that should have been a bit more careful with the approach so as to not to make people feel like they had no say in the matter.

If a same-sex relationship is handled poorly in a video game, it's a much bigger deal because there won't be another one along shortly. I can see that point. It’s drilled home in pretty much every one of the myriad articles on the topic. The problem remains that people are still making a huge deal out of a minor issue. Video games are minor. I love them, but they’re entertainment. They’re a vital outlet for me, given my constant pain levels and limitations. Still, they’re minor in the bigger picture. It’s not the complaining about this issue that’s out of order. The criticism is appropriate and important. It’s the calling for heads that’s terrible. No group of people is so important that they should be calling for others to lose their careers over this. It shows an extreme lack of perspective and an extremely self-centered outlook. I get slighted regularly, and I don’t get butthurt, nor do I throw fits. (I won't expound upon that, because it’s not the internet’s business.) It’s part of life, and the slights are generally unintentional. No need to flip my lid. I’m in no way suggesting complacent silence is the answer in this case. To the contrary, respectful co plains are important. That said, the torches should be extinguished and the pitchforks stowed. It’s interesting that you mention ME3, since that’s exactly the game that’s been on my mind. I played that series almost uninterrupted from its 2007 release until several years after ME3’s release. I doubt many Odyssey gamers are nearly as invested in the comparatively shallow Alexios and Kassandra as I was in Mass Effect. The ME3 ending was a gut-punch far out of proportion with what I’d have thought possible for a VG. I’d invested so much into the series that I was genuinely upset with its conclusion. I complained and commiserated online, but I never called for firings, studio closures, etc... I’d never do that because, as much as I love ME, no one had intentionally disappointed me; and they certainly hadn’t harmed me. They worked their asses off to deliver a product, and unfortunately I didn’t like what they delivered. People need to bring some common sense and humility to the table. They should try putting themselves in the shoes of the devs on the other side of this. Yes, they erred. They definitely hear the outcry, and they seem to feel badly. How is that not enough? We now live in a world in which every minor misstep must be turned into a vociferous crusade. Ruining others’ peace of mind, reputations and even careers seems to be okay as long as some point is made. It’s pretty obnoxious. If people cared as much about the truly important things as they do about their own little niches, the world would be a much better place. LotFB=Legacy of the Forced Baby This is quality stuff. 😆 I’ll never read it the same way again!
