I have to admit: I suck at stealth.. but I own
Assassin's Creed
Assassin's Creed 2 (Liked the game but I still got nightmares from that flying piece of shit da Vinci created...)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (my favourite so far.. I love the city and the characters (still hated the "flying piece of shit"-mission))
Assassin's Creed: Revelations (I don't know why but I played this one the most..)
Assassin's Creed 3 (I like the setting but the protagonist was my least favourite (I liked haytham 10 times more than connor.. even though I am pro Assassin))
Assassin's Creed 4 (One of my favourites.. but I'm glad that I finished it and a return for me to that game is very unlikely.. (I hate big open waters.. and videogame diving since The Elder Scrolls : Oblivion))
Assassin's Creed: Unity (ugh, I regret buying that game... Since I played it this year for the first time there weren't that many bugs.. at least not as many as there were at the beginning appearantly.. but the camera was stupid and the combat in general was imo the worst (I just didn't feel it). The only scene I really liked in the game was the one were you are fighting another assassin..)
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate (A step in the right direction again it seems.. still miles away from being as great as the first games but it seems to get better.. I loved Evie)
And yes: I am looking forward to watch the movie. |

I played pretty much every one except the sidescroller ones, though I own those as well.  My favourites are probably Black Flag and Unity. Really looking forward to the movie, the trailer looked actually decent and hopefully there will be some current time story that will get picked up in the next game. |

I realise im a minority with this view after my time on the AC forum......AC Fell apart after part one but i enjoyed it for some time. I have three plays With Altair and nothing with Ezio ever hits that note for me afterwards.
It just doesnt have the same atmosphere as an assassin, in the land of assasins, in that time period.
I gave up after AC three.
Blackflag was redeeming, actually groundbreaking; but i wasn't dumb enough to keep buying AC games based on that and had to be talked into buying it to begin with.
Shame it became what it did. But man was it one hell of a ride in those early days
Collecting glitches to get that Adam and Eve clip with the apple.
Mindblown.
So many moments with data packages that make me say "whoa"
I might play it again soon.

zipzap2000You forgot to snip ryncol...  The first one is my favorite also, every game after that was more distanced from the whole premise, but it kept all together. After Desmond's death it fell apart, they over-complicated the plot too much and left to many questions unanswered, while adding more to the list. I stopped playing after AC4, even didn't completed it 100%, just breezed through the story.

Syndicate felt A LOT better than Unity .. and I liked the protagonists.. not as much as I liked Ezio and Altair but they were at least way better than Connor etc (imo). It gives me hope at least that with a little bit more development time there could be better ac games again in the future. At least I felt like it was worth my money (Unity wasn't imo .. and I bought that for 14€.. ) . Wait.. I got syndicate for free with my new graphics card.. worth it . |

The combat system in Syndicate is what made it for me. It was really smooth and fighting with the cane or the brass knuckle was a different play style than the sword combat we had before. Plus Jacob and Evie were just really interesting characters and I loved their banter. |

Don't make me want to start another syndicate playthrough just now.. I can easily run it.. but my current CPU cooler sound like a chopper while playing it. But the combat (my favourite of all the ac games for me).. and Evie (yes Jacob is also good.. but not as good as Evie).. I am tempted.

Do it! I still have a playthrough I need to finish and I haven't played the Jack the Ripper DLC yet, but I've heard that it's pretty good. I guess I'll do another one after I bought the Jack the Ripper DLC (I'm curious how that one plays out.. haven't spoiled myself yet which is remarkable considering that I normally look for every information possible when something interests me). And that will be when it is on sale for the next time. I spent to much money on Assassin's Creed already.. I'm not paying full price for anything that has "Assassins's Creed" on it since AC3. But on sale or as part of a graphics card or console bundle.. sure, why not. |

I only have one thing to say to the Assassin's Creed series. Requiescat in Pace.  I know Assassin's Creed has had it's problems, but come on guys. At least they're taking a year off for the next one, I think it'll really be helpful to improving the franchise! Did they get a little greedy and money-whoring there for a bit? Perhaps....it IS Ubisoft..... But the story and arc in the first few games were so great, and the combat in Syndicate was better than ever, so I have faith in the next installment! |

Assassins Creed 2 and Assassins Creed Black Flags are my favorite in the series. I'm wait for the reviews to come out, before I decide to watch the movie. Hopefully having this year off. Ubisoft can give Assassins Creed the reboot it greatly need.
