Assassin's Creed @assassinscreedPick three to defend you, the rest will work together to assassinate you. What are your chances? #AssassinsCreed I think I'd have Eivor & Bayek hide/defend me, while unleashing Kass on the rest of the assassins. Also, I wonder if the ghosted image in the background is a teaser of some sort. You can just make out a silhouette of someone behind Kass. Like everyone else Kass because she could curse the hell out of the Malakas. Edward just because he's Edward and especially if he is wearing his Isu Bullet Proof armour. Can you imagine Kass and Edward together, that'd be a hell of a fun pairing. 3rd one's the toughest, going to say Eivor as she is just a beast in combat and would play a good counter to Kass and Edward's levity. Altair/Ezio/Bayek

Pretty happy with those rankings but AC2 is definitely not one of my favourites but purely from a game play mechanics perspective. Story wise it is really good as is Ezio.

Altair/Ezio/Bayek Oh was it a sexiest Assassin competition. I am guessing actually if it was you'd have had Alexios in there somewhere????

Kass would be my first pick since, with the Spear of Leonidas, she is probably THE most powerful Assassin (though - technically - a Merc) in history. This doesn't even factor in the absurd abilities and access to Isu tech.
Eivor bested a certain "you-know-who", and has demonstrated great strength and leadership, so they would probably be my second pick.
Finally, I'd go with Arno, as at the time Unity came out, Ubisoft stated he was the strongest Assassin. He's shown a level of skill that makes him stand out, and he's got a much more modern toolset to utilize.

I forgot to ask a question. I updated my Nvidia drivers on the 30th (I think) and ever since I've been unable to play AC Origins. Every time I try to start it, it freezes and goes to bios? But no other game does that. I was wondering if anyone else has had that problem with Origins after updating drivers? Or has any idea why only one game is causing this issue? Any help is appreciated, thanks

Did the Video driver update change the properties of the icon from Run as Administrator or the security settings in "Security" when you right click on the icon?

Which is how I've had it for years. No probs with any other AC game as I tried them after Origins started acting up

I was trying to avoid that, but I think I may have to give it a try Thanks Before that I would suggest rolling back your video card drivers and see if that helps. I don't update my drivers frequently because they can cause problems with games in the past.

Oh I remember the shoving all right. Sometimes when I was in a hurry to get somewhere and I ran into the unfortunate NPC who thought it's a good time to shove Altair, I gave him the blade. Move along! Nothing to see here! I'm off! I find the ship battles in Black Flag; solely from the video, unrealistic at some parts. Ramming??? Collisions were risky; springing leaks below decks.

Replaying Origins on nightmare. I think I'd previously beat it on hard. Not nearly as hard as Odyssey but still a stiff challenge. Stealth AI is very perceptive and your bird misses a lot of soldiers so it's easy to blunder into them. I wish they'd kept the random encounters of this game, similar to what they had in previous Asscreeds but better implemented here. Still love the combat and everything about Egypt.

I read that if a civilian is punched in front of a guard in Origins, he just points and laughs.
Odyssey has the best NPCs; they gang up on you and get weapons. Syndicate has the best crowd reaction; a wave sweeping before you and a bunch of people running, reacting to a danger they didn't see.

It was risky in Black Flag to ram especially the Man O' War, you had to set it up with a bit of strategy (haven't watched the video yet) but best approach was to come at them from a stern and drop mortars on them whilst using the Jack Daw's much faster speed to Ram them a stern and then turn and give them a broad side of fire shot. If they managed to turn in time you could usually hit them fast enough side on (and the ram did huge damage) to take them out of the fight or Ram them and use your forward cannon to finish them off. The mortars at the beginning were the key though to getting their health down a decent level otherwise it turned into a tactical tacking match to not let them get a full broadside shot at you. It was heaps of fun, I really enjoyed the naval fights in Black Flag except for the damn Water Spouts that could appear in a storm, am I right Hrungr?

I think Black Flag had the most enjoyable naval experience for me. The more they change or add just makes it less fun. I think the naval content is what drives me away from Odyssey since it is part of the main game and for the Orch grinding there are frequent naval challenges. I think the final blow for me was the two hour marathon of non-stop naval combat I couldn't get out of. Each time I thought I was able to get away another mercenary ship would appear or other ships would respawn nearby. I just gave up and quit and made sure I finished everything else and walked away from the game.

It has all the good of Black Flag, plus new weapons to use and the Morrigan was far more maneuverable than the Jackdaw.

So I've been seeing speculations that there could be a Kassandra crossover with Origins. The thing is, I'm not overly fond of Origins and didn't finish the PT. Gee, if there is a crossover, I'll probably have no choice but to finish the PT. 😄
