I haven't yet played Trespasser with my lady Necromancer Lavellan, but I'm tempted to get her married to Cullen. I heard when they exchange vows, Lavellan will say hers in Dalish and Cullen will say his own. Yes, she will, if you pick the right option during the proposal conversation. |

It will depend on your ending of choice, I'm sure. I don't expect they will make an apearance, but I'm sure there will be a mention of them. At the very least, a codex entry. It would be nice to have a "Happily Ever After" update, though.  |

A codex or Inqui makes a brief appearance a la Hawk (but with more 'weight', 'Oomph' and 'bling') Could even be a blasted note somewhere that the new protag manages to get her/his hands on. ... or maybe intercepting a love letter or three, LoL. Idk, I guess seeing Cullen happy just makes my day |

Yeah, she's really2 good! I've been following her on DeviantArt, Pinterest and her Tumblr 'Yes,I'm a Nerd' She has lots of awsome stuff there. I love how she could really capture the expression and paint the emotions of both Cullen and Lavellan. .. And since her Lavellan is sort of similliar to mine (except for hair color and a few features here and there, .. yeah) I'm a big fan of hers XD |

As I mentioned in the other thread, I've never been able to do it myself, but, my understanding is that he will only end the relationship if you tell him to stay on it unconditionally. I recall watching a YouTube video of the sexytime scene where his "worse without the lyrium" line RE: his nightmares was adjusted to along the lines of "Better, with the lyrium." It would seem that he will concede to take the stuff for the sake of the Inquisition, as long as the Inquisitor promises to allow/help him find a way to break the chains for good once he's no longer required. Always felt like the whole "we'll just keep you addicted just for now" option was either a cop out, or lazy on behalf of Bioware. Like, what is the point of his character going through the lyrium withdrawal at all? If you go the route of "deal with it later" there isn't even a conclusion on screen. It's just assumed that he got over it some time after the Inquisition defeated Corypheus, I guess. |

So, thanks! I'm actually pleased with how the 3rd one's body turnedout, but I couldn't get his face right. I wanted him to be Rylen, but everytime I tried to add the chin tattoos it looked awful, so I just left him with a beard. I also has trouble with gettting Cullen's face just right, but I figured I'd leave them as they were so I wouldn't end up with too many erasure marks. As for Cullen, the vagabond knight...yeah. I was going with the idea that he was rescued by Rylen from the gutters of Val Royeaux and recovering from his lyrium addicti0on. So yeah, that's why he's not as toned as the 3rd pic. |

LFS - Do you think this one looks good? I'm not sure if it's Cullen-ey enough. I see a bit of young Luke Skywalker and while I was drawing it I had to adjust it a bit because it looked like a young William Shatner playing James T Kirk. I think I kinda got, but damn, whoever designed his nose...  It's REALLY hard to draw.   gave up on this one and started a new one...   which is a skewed version of this...  messing around with filters.  Last one  |

Faces are deceptively difficult to capture just right, but I think you've done well--especially on the mouth, which has always been my biggest trouble area when doodling; you absolutely nailed it! If I had to nitpick, I'd say the eyes and nose could stand to be a little larger, and I think that Skywalker/Kirk thing that you mentioned comes mostly from him being kinda clean-cut. Some stubble and definition in the hair--in particular, those swoopy curls he has over his forehead--would help immensely in bringing out the Cullen-ness. All of that said, I really do think you did a great job and he's completely recognisable (actually, I see Cullen more and more the longer I look at it.) A couple of tweaks and some detailing and I think you'll have it bang-on. |
