Maker's Breath.... (Official Cullen Rutherford discussion)

It's just my way of seeing it I guess We each view and interpret the game differently because we have different life experiences.

From where I came from, once upon a time, those sitting in the governmental seats had a close relation to each other, either by family ties (a daughter / niece / son / nephew / uncle / cousin of "someone important") or they are tied by business.

It was a very powerul and tightly knit group. The President's power ran unchecked, corruption was the norm and when a meeting/assembly/what ever takes place it's just a loud choir of "I AGREEE WITH YOUUUUU" what ever the decision might be. No one dares to disagree.
Eventually the interest of the nation takes back seat to the interest of the families in power.
[Or in DAI case, where the collective interest of the nobility takes back seat from that of the IQ's and no one within the inner circle would at least try to rein in the IQ]
Though those times are over, the constitution and laws stays the same. But government is being run differently now. Officials today run real checks and balances without fear of upsetting someone within the dinner table.

You got me into thinking though. How DOES the Inquisition operate really?
Does it operate more like a mini kingdom?
Or more like the IQ function as the head of state with the board of advisors running the check and balance over the IQ?

Have to admit that I always use the 2nd scenario within my story (which I projected further to the nobility's side)

Ah well, those are just my short and long reasons as to why nobles might complain if IQ is in a relationship with her/his advisor.
One way or the other, nobilities will always complain about something (or anything)

Whelp... it seemed inevitable that I'd click on this lovely thread.

I admit I went through and stared at all the lovely artwork foremost. Sure starts giving me all sorts of naughty ideas about possible fanfics.

What's this? There are no drool smileys? I bring one to this worthy cause!

But my ideas about Cullen and Mage Quiz is just crazy frequent lust behind quickly locked doors and not much roleplay at all.

Oh, my idea of "other direction" had more to do with... his watching  her "like a Templar" and letting her get away with things and now she's finally come to consume him. Or something. haha.

Unfortunately every appearance mod also crushes DLCs areas on loading so... sad. He does look way better with darker hair like in DA2

1st PT: I'll romance Blackwall and then break up and go to Cullen. *broken hearted after judging Blackwall, runs to Cullen to heal the wounds* *literally screams when he proposes*
2nd PT: I'll romance Solas...but Cullen is over there...no no, must be strong... *forces romance with Solas, comes to HATE that Inquisitor*
3rd Pt: Okay, this is where I shove as many romances into one go as possible. Iron Bull: Check. Blackwall: Check- wait, oh shit, this QUiz actually LOVES Blackwall! Oh nus! But I wanted Cullen! 
4th and 5th PT, play men to stay away from Cullen, but use filrt options with him anyway.

*looks longingly at Cullen* I have two lesbian dwarves to play for Sera and Jose, and I shall have him once more. *shakes fist*

When I say romance, I meant sex.

For women it's 3, Iron Bull, Blackwall, Cullen. (Bonus: the judge)

For men, it's four. Iron Bull, Cass, Dorian, Jose (bonus: judge)

Just conscript mages and do their personal quests one LI at a time until you get them in the sack. Then tell them it was just some fun.

It can't change class or gender or race

I don't know yet who my fav DA2 romance will be, but DAO it's Alistair and Inq it's Cullen.
