Inquisitor Trevelyan enjoys making Cullen blush, and loves bad pick-up lines.


On Purpose



”Aside from begin adorable and cuter than a Mabari cub, what do you do for a living?”



Cullen looks up from the report he has on his desk, bewildered, only to meet a curious pair of eyes belonging to the one and only Inquisitor Trevelyan. The Inquisitor is leaning his shoulder against the door frame, his arms crossed over his chest and his eyes laid upon the Commander; Cullen finds himself feeling a bit wary under that kind of gaze. Trevelyan looks up and down, measures and examines from head to toe with precision, and then he flashes the Commander a smile - a smile that suggests things Cullen would rather not think about when working.



”Inquisitor”, he says, brushing aside the questionable feelings Trevelyan’s sudden appearance and way of looking at him awake inside him. Trevelyan nods.

”Me”, he answers playfully, ”in the flesh!”



”Do you need me for something?”



”Nah. I just wanted to see how my favourite Commander’s doing, in his lonely tower.”



Cullen chuckles, and Trevelyan walks in, stopping in front of Cullen’s desk. His eyes are set on Cullen, observing. Then the Inquisitor’s brow furrows when he sees something he doesn't like. ”That armour of yours needs to go”, he mutters in disapproval, and Cullen frowns at his words.



”Why? What is wrong with it?”



”It’s on the way of what I have in mind.”



”What--oh.”



Trevelyan follows how a rather bright shade of pink raises to Cullen’s cheeks as he realizes what he’s talking about, and he finds it to be a greatly amusing, if endearing, sight. He smirks. ”Do you not like my inquisitive gaze?” Trevelyan asks, and then snickers at his own joke. ”No pun intended.”



Cullen sighs, and does his best to remain professional. ”Do you need me for something, Inquisitor?”



”Not really, I just enjoy watching you.”



”I, uh...” Cullen scratches his neck in an awkward manner, and he clears his throat. ”I’ve noticed.”



”You have?”



”Hard not to.”



”Good”, the Inquisitor says, allowing his eyes to wander freely again. Cullen, finding himself uncomfortable under that gaze, stands up from his chair and goes around the table. His intentions are to politely see the Inquisitor out so he could continue his work, but Trevelyan misunderstands him - probably on purpose, Cullen realizes as their eyes lock on each other when he passes the mage. He gulps at the Inquisitor’s suggestive smile.



Trevelyan takes a step closer. 


Cullen breaks his nose, and the Inquisitor laughs.

Definitely on purpose.
