This is what happens when you don't post positive things in their chat. Guess they got mad about my Mattock/Valkyrie post and N7 Fury Pepperidge Farm remembers soloing Platinum haha

Aren't streams supposed to make it seem like devs are listening, not cause us to have even less confidence than we did before? Can we challenge them to play Gold with Architect/Sweeper as a client instead of hosting? Because then we'd get a much better look at the player experience. Also reset their account and take away the 2 billion credits.

I would be fine with the Warframe system. The only reason I check in on the MP is for the Strike teams, so maybe one day the equipment aside from thermal clips will be worth it. Playing Warframe now in fact. I think I finally completely burned out on Warframe. The time to farm Endo to level high end mods was too much, and the only challenge I can find is playing Endless missions for at least 30 minutes. While avoiding the grind is fine, their current aggregation method is not going to keep fans. You'll recall a couple of guns in the me3 pool got super buffs while they were fixing other guns in the background. There's nothing preventing that happening here. If no one is playing your game it doesn't matter a fucking whit how good and wise your balancing technique is.

On what difficulty are these suckers playing? please don't tell me it's bronze again and they're going to praise the performance of a tier four weapon. Called it.

> says they don't want to change or nerf different playstyles > nerfs melee by adding guaranteed stagger from enemy melee Oh please. Melee isn't any less viable than it used to, they just many a minor change that means that now you actually has to pay a tiniest amount of attention to what the enemy you are punching is doing. This is a L2P issue, nothing more.

This is a L2P issue, nothing more. Wrong. It's not as viable, especially with client enemies able to miss you and still get a hit anyway. Also, why do krogans get staggered by mooks at all? Still a nerf to a playstyle regardless of opinion.

He said plainly if you're doing anything that impacts another player's enjoyment they will treat it as cheating/exploiting. What if another player is playing better than me and I don't like it? Can we kill them? I mean ban them?

I still biotic stomp all over everything with melee.

Well, any interest I had in buying this shit for more than $5 is gone now.
Good job BioWare devs, you guys look like fucking idiots to the vast majority of the gaming community after that very revealing stream.
So, hmmmm.... I think I need to abandon this subforum, there is nothing for me here but making fun of vegasflash, and that is tired already.

I don't get the hate. They acknowledged several times that they were working on the balance and explained why it wasn't happening as quickly as we'd like. They also gave us some insight into why things feel weaker than they did in ME3. I would have liked to get a rough timeframe for when to expect the changes and it would have been nice for them to throw us a bone and buff the Mattock back up but surely that isn't worth all the vitriol.

They did weekly updates for me3. Sorry but these excuses aren't good enough, especially not when the game was so poorly balanced at launch. If the game wasn't such a mess and things were halfway well balanced allready then sure, take your time and test things thoroughly. But when things are so obviously broken like they are now it shouldn't be too hard to increase some numbers. They wouldn't even have to fix everything, just tune some of the most underpowered things up a bit as a start to show they are fucking doing sometthing. Also the movement excuse for why things feel weaker was pretty bogus. The fact that they played bronze the whole time with one of the worst character kits in the game and a gun that sucks on gold but he kept praising it for being great just shows how out of touch they are and adds fuel to the fire for all the people that are mad at their inaction and seeming ignorance.

What they said though was mostly safe, vague, corporate speak, which isn't what people want to hear right now. ME3MP had weekly balance changes, and a dedicated company forum in which devs were at least somewhat responsive. Lots of other MP games have weekly balance changes or updates. I think in 2017, expecting clearer, more consistent communication about the state and direction of a game isn't asking too much. I mean, there should be a schedule for balance changes, even if it isn't weekly. I think people get too hyperbolic, and too vitriolic, but I share and understand the frustration.

Basically, I don't want corporate speak. I want something that will give me confidence in their ability. From what I saw on how they play, I have none, so to trust them with balance numbers when they think they guns they are use are powerful when in reality they are pea shooters. I just have no words.

Special APEX missions should be on Silver with a one time Gold payout. That would make everyone want to play it, and it wouldn't be too difficult for scrubs.
Your game isn't nearly as hard as you think it is Bioware.

On reporting/banning, the way I heard it is that not every exploit is a bannable offense, but if you're impacting the enjoyment of others, they're going to take a look at you. So if you're running the double ammo glitch every match, tripling second place score and you get reported a bunch, then maybe you get banned. But I don't think one or two people reporting you is going to have anything happen. Not sure why people care about being number one on the scoreboard. Do they know that the more points, the more experience you get so you don't have to slog through dozens of gold matches to get to 20?

If we really are a week away they should have a vague idea of what is going to change, even if it is saying that combo damage will increase or use skill ranks appropriately, or that ARs will have their damage buffed, etc.

Their livestreams are depressing. Each time I'm expecting a word about what will happen next. What are the plans for the game, balance changes aside? I'm thinking they stripped off the good ideas of MEAMP and imported them to a new project, leaving MEAMP with only a skeleton of what it should have been.
The next balance changes better be good. I mean "ME3MP Singularity balance change" level of good.

I think I finally completely burned out on Warframe. The time to farm Endo to level high end mods was too much, and the only challenge I can find is playing Endless missions for at least 30 minutes. I don't do it for the challenge. I play it because the combat is fun. I pay plat for everything, so I can avoid grinding. Oh, plat, so Warframe ended up tapping into some of my best/worst impulses as well. I hit one point where I was spending about 3x as much time in trade chat than I was playing the game, because accumulating plat became the game for me. I own a retail business in meat space, and sourcing/pricing products something I'm pretty good at and enjoy. But having a game tap into that part of my brain the way Warframe did basically meant that my video game time had become identical to my work time, because I had spreadsheets and shit tracking various things to buy and sell. I appreciate that Warframe lets players do that, but I also like games like ME because they don't let me do that.
