Hmm, to be fair I just heard one of them say the weekend Apex missions are on bronze for now because the game is still fairly new and they want to give players time to get into it, especially if they're still in the campaign, and they will move onto higher difficulties later.

I hope that's true, but I still want ME3MP style weekend challenges.

Also why are these unique apex missions always bronze? Clearly they make this game for bronze. But the grind and cost to get packs means you should be playing platinum if you ever want to get all unlocks.

Probably so that difficulty isn't a barrier to entry. So any player can feel relatively safe jumping into the unique apex mission without being worried about having an under leveled character or gear.
