They changed strike teams gear prices (...), we have a poorly implemented pizza run objective on a bronze apex mission (the backpack goes back to where you found it if you died with it), and a new +10% damage gear on AR and pistols. That's all the concrete actions we have for this week.
They said they're reading twitter, reddit, this forum... That the Equalizer does "a ton of damage", that the ammo glitch is a violation of the terms of service, that the Sweeper is a very good weapon.

"Special" APEX missions are always Bronze, so it's a pretty sure bet that's what they'll be playing. edit: ninja'd Hmm, to be fair I just heard one of them say the weekend Apex missions are on bronze for now because the game is still fairly new and they want to give players time to get into it, especially if they're still in the campaign, and they will move onto higher difficulties later. I hope that's true, but I still want ME3MP style weekend challenges. This. The only reason I first got dragged kicking and screaming into a Gold mission was for a weekend event. God bless the stout hearts of the forum who pledged to pick me up (and pick me up, and pick me up, and pick me up, and pick me up, and pick me up, and pick me up -- well, you get the idea).

That's what people thought last time, and that's not what happened. "we take that stuff very seriously guys" Missile Gliching impacted other players a lot more than Warp/Incendiary did, and one got bans and the other didn't. I suspect (on the PC version), the comparisons now to this are glitched lobbies with one shot kills versus double ammo. One is impacting other players a lot more than the other. They didn't do a damn thing in DAIMP and I don't have any expectation that they'll do anything now. "Permission granted."

So wait, they say they're discussing potential weapon changes for the update next week... does that mean they can hotfix those things on console? Or do they need the update to go through console certification? (a roughly 5 day process)
If they can hotfix, why do they not hotfix right now? If they need to wait for an update to be certified, wouldn't the deadline be today or very soon and they'd already know what changes are in it?

He said plainly if you're doing anything that impacts another player's enjoyment they will treat it as cheating/exploiting. This could literally be anything. I mean, really are they just trying to become the new poster children of the word 'laughing stock'

They aren't "discussing" shit because they don't handle it. They have no more idea where this is headed than you or me. They just sign off on the reports a bunch of overworked interns give them while they prepare their lines for next week's stream. Abandon hope, all ye who enter here.

Official from the video - the double ammo exploit will be treated as a cheat and should be reported. Uh huh. Right.

Didn't realize using 15+ headshots to kill a standard red bar was a ton of damage. Is it a decent gun, yes, but mostly because it's accurate unlike the other guns and has a large magazine. It does not do ''a ton of damage''. Harrier and PPR did a ton of damage, vanquisher does. Equalizer does not.

Right now it feels good, not great and should probably be the baseline for most weapons since it has limited range in return for unlimited ammo. How can they be this clueless?

Ooh, the Bee-dubs guys frown upon the double ammo glitch. Real scared. Whatever shall I do since I don't use it on the Vanquisher, Hurricane, Valiant or Black Widow but every other weapon since they do crap for damage?
Couldn't catch the livestream in time since I don't know when it's on, but from what I'm reading here, I can only sigh and bow my head down.

Although I seriously think if they could get on there and say, "We don't know most of the changes, but several weapons will be getting changed and the Maddock will get unfucked" they'd hit a PR home run. On the Equalizer, I think it's fine. Granted, you really want that damage barrel and weapon passives, but once you're there it's good. Maybe improve the accuracy at lower ranks, but that's more of a general issue across many weapons. Of course it does not do a ton of damage, that's just silly

It's like they ruined as many individual aspects of what made ME3 successful as they could and are now just taking the piss. Years of experience and learning from a very well-received co-op MP (and a not so well-received one) and they not only reinvented the wheel wherever it could be done, they made it a 3000-lb cube. I know I'm being maudlin but I honestly can't believe how much of a disgrace this is.

You're right. The game was poorly balanced at launch and still is. ME3 had weekly balance changes and that was better. I'm frustrated with the current state of the game too. But today isn't the first time we heard that we had to wait for changes. We found that out a couple weeks ago. That's old hate. There's no reason for the new hate after this stream. Nothing new was said. We didn't get new bad news. What we got was that they are still reviewing the data and have nothing to confirm, which is pretty bad all things considered. If we really are a week away they should have a vague idea of what is going to change, even if it is saying that combo damage will increase or use skill ranks appropriately, or that ARs will have their damage buffed, etc. I don't want no stinkin' reviews of the data. The isn't meta critic. It's freaking video game development. I want competent people at BioWare that actually know how to play this game and are able to spot these very obvious flaws for themselves. If they don't have someone competent enough, then hire one from the slums of Montreal streets for a sandwich. How hard can it be to actually play a video game.

There must be service first im not happy with the service i got for my money multiplayer wise, the ammo glitch would have shown up within hours of open betatesting, but hey the people actually buying the game for multi play might have found out aside from the jetpack movement there's not much substance or balance in the multi and might not buy.(i would not have bought it for multi, but for the campaign)
