I'm a fan of the high tier Pathfinder armor myself. I've sort of settled on this one being my main Ryder's default armor in blue and white. I avoided the low tier one because I don't want her wearing anything with N7 on it.

Toss-up between Pathfinder and Hyperguardian.
The Heleus Defender armor looks good until you get it to V, then the neckpiece thing makes it look like shit.

Still wish we could get a sleeker looking armor for biotitc and tech type characters. The MEA armors I think all look great but keeping them current they all end up big bulky soldier armors so I usually stick with N7 since it is close as I can get. Would rather have something more like Cora wears. I think this is the best armor set for that kind of look. Granted, I always view my characters in these kinds of games as "soldiers with extra toys" if playing as a biotic or tech based caster. Thus, the extra ammo canisters (that's what I'm calling 'em, don't care otherwise ) on the front look right to me. But it's one of the least bulky late-tier armors I've seen that isn't a Hyperguardian or N7 set (and I don't particularly care for those, didn't really like 'em in the MET either) This is the Maverick Chest piece with Pathfinder helmet/arms/legs.

I love the simplicity in the design of the Initiative armor. I think it's sleek and looks great for the speed and mobility Ryder possesses. Unfortunately, it's stats aren't up to par of other armors so it's not really viable long term, which is a shame. I agree - I love the look of the Initiative armour but its stats are useless compared to things like N7 if playing a biotic. Once rick has finished his save editor I hope it might be possible to edit the stats on armours to keep the look of Initiative but with N7 stats.

You know, I honestly thought I was the only one who refused to wear N7 armor on principle. You gotta earn N7 armor imo. Ryder can be a bad ass, but they aren't an N7.
As for my favorite? Probably Initiative Spearpoint or Pathfinder, sadly Spearpoint stats are horrible. Hyperguardian is a close second, but the Remnant Armor is growing on me.

The best will always be the Maverick set, more sleek and badass looking imo, some armor set just look too bulky down the line
2nd place goes to Pathfinder set

Every armor in the game has something I do not like about it, either on the male or female character. AI Armor: Too much clipping with the helmet on Spearpoint for the male character. Maverick: Bugged. Hazard textures does not show up and the lack of shin armor makes it look weird. Pathfinder: Arms have too little armor for the forearm and wrist, and lacks abdominal armor.
I could go on, but on my female character I usually go with AI armor. And on my male character, I go with Maverick, with Kett leg armor. Though that hazard texture bug really annoys me, especially on Elaaden.

I don't like big bulky armor, so I wear just a tier 2 remnant chest piece and hyperguardian helmet. It's quite a challenge. A vanguard with bad armor stat. lol
Wish there's mod that allows you to wear asari armor.

To hear what Bradley has to say about it. And he's damn right. N7 Training: Interplanetary Combatives Training (ICT) is the Systems Alliance's premier school for leadership and combat expertise. The Interplanetary Combatives Academy, sometimes called "N-School" or "the villa," recruits officers from every branch of Earth's militaries to partake in grueling courses at Vila Militar in Rio de Janeiro. Initially, candidates train for more than 20 hours per day, leading small combat teams through hostile terrain with little sleep or food. Trainees who do well are awarded an internal designation of N1 and are invited to return. Subsequent courses - N2 through N6 - are often held off-planet and include instruction in zero-G combat, military free-fall (parachuting), jetpack flight, combat diving, combat instruction, linguistics, and frontline trauma care for human and alien biology. The highest grade of training, N6, provides actual combat experience in combat zones throughout the galaxy. If the trainee survives these scenarios in "admirable and effective fashion," he or she finally receives the coveted N7 designation. N7 is the only ICT designation that may be worn on field or dress uniforms. There is little shame in failing an N course - the training is so extreme that even qualifying for N1 elevates an officer to a position of respect. The universal prestige of merely attending the academy helps to restrain trainees from taking excessive risks in pursuit of higher honors. Although ICT qualification by itself does not guarantee higher rank, those officers who are able to complete the program are typically well suited to senior leadership positions. Ryder did some peacekeeping.

I was glad Pathfinder III and V cover up the N7 marking.

Ever since ME2 I've mixed and matched armor pieces to suit my aesthetic taste, stats be damned! I do like the ME:A system that allows you to craft augments into your gear, so even if the base stats of the armor don't benefit your build much, you can still add what you want. It's not quite the level of "Give us different armor looks, we choose which stats (through mods) the armor has" that I wanted when I heard about ME:A crafting, but at least it's a step in the right direction.

Remnant! Only thing that bothers me, is that it gets in the way during cutscenes. That's a shame, really. And I wish we could change the color of the lights. I'd so dig green lights.
