Do note that this may not be indicate of the Remnant in their entirety.  For all we know, this may simply be what the group believe is the Remnant or that while these are Remnant, they are not indicative of the entire Remnant: they simply serve a function akin to the Keepers or a security system while others serve a function that requires more such as the ability to facilitate communications,  higher levels of awareness and such.

Additionally, the leaked survey should not be taken as credible in every aspect until confirmed so. I know it is likely from a credible source but the information in it is still subject to change over the course of the development period.

I'm half-betting that the guy on the left pic is a robot like the ones in Aliens (with the white stuff in the inside) and the female on the right is your Sister.

It's starting to become a bit of a common theory that the guy is a robot: it's always interesting to see what theories spring up during the wait for the game's release. I don't, however, think it'll turn out to be true: I think he'll be the only male human in the squad barring the dad possibly accompanying the squad or occupying a slot during parts of the game. There might be an artificial or virtual intelligence based on the voice heard through the 4k Tech live footage but I believe that voice either communicates through the omni-tool or is a part of the omni-Tool.

The woman I think is a non-Ryder squadmate whom I think is the blonde woman seen in the technial footage and the helmeted woman seen in the E3 trailers. I think she's going to be a romance interest and that she'll be the only female human in the squad. The difference in armor possibly stems from a change in design choice, a change prompted by a story point or alternative outfits. It is also possible that the grey-suited woman is not a member of Ryder's squad but is a part of the dad's squad and either stays that or dies.
