Unless he's meant to spy on the group, akin to Dr. Core, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense to have the suit on, because, uh, new galaxy . Andromedan's don't know what the hell a human is. A human could have robotic limbs and they'd think it was normal, especially if it's the first human they have contact with.

SCRIPT 2


Scene Two: Two mercenaries talk about some of the difficulties of living on the frontier and being pioneers

in a new world. You are playing the role of the Tough Mercenary.



Tough Mercenary: I got a great deal on the gear we salvaged from the crash.

Here’s your share.

Worried Mercenary: You said we’d split the take evenly!

Tough Mercenary: It’s even. Do the math

Worried Mercenary: I’ve got a family. You don’t. This isn’t fair. We agreed—

Tough Mercenary: To split the profits 50/50. How you feed your family is your

problem

Worried Mercenary: I just keep thinking, what if I hadn’t left the Capital?

Maybe I wouldn’t have to worry about where my kids’ next

meals are coming from.

Tough Mercenary: We’re doing better than some 

Worried Mercenary: But I worry that one day I’ll cross Sanders and find my

kids murdered.

Tough Mercenary: Sanders doesn’t kill kids. And you don’t know that

wouldn’t have happened in the Capital.


Worried Mercenary: There were laws back there. Out here, it’s thugs running

the place

Tough Mercenary: A thug wearing the uniform is still a thug.

Sanders was head of security back in the Capital, and look

what she’s become.

Tough Mercenary: Trust me. Things like rule of law, like decency? Out the

window when things go bad.

Worried Mercenary: So you wouldn’t go back? If you got the chance?


Tough Mercenary: Hell, no. It’s not the best here, but I get to decide my life.

It’s what we wanted, right? A new start?


ANALYSIS

1) The Capital. That sounds like a new Citadel-like in Andromeda? Or a code-name for the Citadel?

2) That Sanders they speak was the head of The Capital Security. Sanders seems like a human name, is that her real name? Or just made-up for the script? A police officer went rogue after a tragedy in the Capital seems something like all bad Turians TM would go (if The Capital is The CItadel codename). She could be an Andromedan tho (if the Capital is the citadel version) OR if the game covers decades, maybe she is human in Andromeda police.

3) Looking for a new start from Tough Mercenary's part. But Worried Mercenary came with kids like a refugee?

I wouldn't put too much stock into anything in the scripts. The DAI scripts had dialogue that was never in the actual game or even referenced anything specific in the game. Instead they make up scenarios that would fit in the setting so they can see how your voice acting will fit in the setting.

About the male robot squadmate theory...

YES !PLEASEEEE!

That would be a nice change.
My Ryder would totally romance a male fully self aware AI robot in wonderful Michael Fassbender skin like in 'Prometheus'.There is a lot of story potential there .

Looks like people taking cover but my second guess would be people being put in stocks. The Khett are fan of classics?

Well, if you zoom in you can clearly see that the monitor is showing an N7 dude with a carnifex shooting at some turian like creature while in cover. There's also a krogan by his side. And you can see part of the HUD on screen. Also his helmet has B74X-3 writed on it, no idea what it could be.

Damn, I forgot that this is not a tv show and magic zoom does not exist irl! blast it!

Okay, joking aside I'd agree that it's probably some cover animation of sorts.

Could it be romance?

Any idea what this emblem stands for?

I know this was discussed in previous pages, there are two versions of the Tech demo from September 2016: one has Aaryn Flynn's voiceover commenting about getting a 4K monitor and all that jazz. The second version has no voiceovers from developers and includes a few extra bits of dialogue that can be heard. That second video is the one I'm linking to you here. Enjoy!!!

Not all of Bioware, but whoever drew that picture. I don't even think the curve of the moon is right, it suggests a very high altitude/orbit that would features smaller than the Copernicus crater hard to see. Copernicus is 93 km in diameter

Probably a flawed methodolgy, but I used Celestia to match the curve of the moon shown in the picture, giving me an altitude of 4322 km. The size of Copernicus is about the same size as that near ring shown on the base, maybe a bit smaller. So say the ring is about 100 km across. That makes the base closer to 1000 km across. Not impossible, but seems unlikely.



EDIT: Got Copernicus mixed up with Tycho.

Unless I'm missing something, you're talking about the triangular arrangement, right? It seems more like a part of the armor to me, as it looks too modular to be an emblem in my opinion.

edit: Maybe it's a plate they tacked on to cover an emblem they don't want us to know about? Given it's location, I think it's a something worth considering although not super likely.
